President Obama Is An Idiot

President Obama announced today on Saturday that he would not take any action against Syria without the consent of Congress.  And we all know what a wonderful record the President has of submitting bills to Congress and having them act on it.  This is the same Congress, not to be excessively blunt, that wants to Impeach this President as soon as they return to Washington.  Their instinct had virtually never been "to do the right thing" and less to help out this President, politically in any way.  Of course Bashier Assad knows now he has a lot of extra time to do - whatever else he has planned.  And Al Qaida and all those Islamic nations that came out and comdemned the gassing by Assad- - they also have been sent a "Message" by this president's delays.  Vladimir Putin of course praised the British parliament for it's thumbs down vote yesterday.  You know, I'm beginning to wonder that what if Pearl Harbor had never happened and Roosevelt was trying to get us to go to war against Germany- - and there was photographic evidence of the Jewish death camps- - whether such pictures would have in themselves overcome the apathy of the American people then.  Considering the number of ways where American laws are out of step with the developed nations of most of the rest of the world- - one has to wonder.  As I look at the Wars that the American people have been for, they seem much more based on hysteria, if not outright lies- - then they are in any true moral outrage about an issue.

I think the general idea is to find common ground with people and advance your agenda on the basis of that.  Actually there are very few things the president has never "compromised his principles" on.  One is on abortion.  The President hasn't given an inch.  He's still staunchly for "partial birth abortions" and the President has never repuliated his stance on "wrongful life" fetuses that survived an abortion procedure.  He approved such a "wrongful life" bill while an Illinois congressman.  He says knowing when life begins is "beyond his pay grade", which is a silly answer.  But if you aren't sure about something, shouldn't you err on the side of life rather than death.  It's no wonder the president seems less than urgently concerned about the lives of children dying a horrible death in Syria, when he obviously isn't concerned about lives of young babies that are taken in a medical prodedure right here in the United States.  The other Issue in which the President has bent very little is his own Affordable Care Act, which is Thee great albitros around this President's neck.  For instance suppose I were president Obama right now.  And someone came up to me and said "You know Mr President- - I know of a way to put these republicans in a much more cooporative mood to pass needed jobs bills and energy bills this country sorely need.  I know of a way you can increase your odds of even getting them to look at your legislation in such areas as this immigration bill, which is stalled in the house.  And in the bargain- - you can stimulate the economy and increase incentives for job hiring, simplify the insurance industry, and cut health insurance rates for the vast majority of Americans, and give Americans the insurance plans they really want".  And of course I'd be all ears at this and say "How?"  And the other guy would say "Just sign one of these forty-plus bills abolishing Obama Care.  You'd make a lot of people really happy really fast."  I was just looking at a link from Judy on Fox news about Obama Care and how unworkable it is.  Sure a lot of its parts have been put on hold- - but there is still a lot of planned chaos coming down the pike.  The President lied to the American people when he said "If you like the medical insurance plan you can have now, you can keep it.  This is about 85% of Americans".  This is simply not true.  Virtually every insurance plan will be altered in a significant way as far as giving people coverage they don't want or need.  Most people will have their rates hiked significantly.  Young people in particular, those just starting out who can least afford it- will pay between seventy and ninety percent more for their Health Insurence.  Even older people will pay more for it- - but the rise for them will be less significant.  This bill rewards people who have neglected their health- - heavy smokers- - and those who have eaten all the wrong foods throughout their lives.  And the rest of us have to subsedize that.  Insurance companies are getting out of the coverage business entirely rather than have to jump through all the hoops that the Affordable Care plan requires of them.  Doctors are also finding ways to get out of the plan.  Of course the plan is a major block on the new hiring of employees, and fans the uncertainty factor in small business particularly.  And of course you know about the fact that full time employment will be discouraged as businesses feel pressure to avoid that thirty hour per week limit on not paying certain benefits to their employees.  So the President lied about two big things.  You CAN'T keep the insurance you have now, even if you like it, and you WILL be paying significantly more for coverage you don't even want or need- - after Obamacare goes into effect.  But the President is obsessed with this "legacy" that somehow if he fails at all else, and he's failing on a whole front of issues- - at least there will linger this THING that he managed to cram down all our throats.

In terms of Syria- - I've already discussed this till I'm blue in the fact.  I think I'm suffering from adrenal burn out like that Purity commercial on KTLK talked about just now.  I'm dog tired right now- - and I think I have a definite case of Obama burn-out.  It's getting to the point where nobody cares.  I've criticized "God" for not being Timely in his answering of people's prayers.  Obama already has not responded in a Timely manner because the Syrians have had ample opportunity to ready themselves for the expected attack.  It's like the President is taking the same position that the Florida court system took on Trayvon Martin.  "OK, If I gotta, then I gotta- - but I'll only be going through the motions".   I was going to splice other remarks in here at this time.   David Cruise and Moe Kelly and Nicole Sandler are all arrayed against intervention in Syria employing arguments that make little sense to me.  None of these people stopped to think that if the President does nothing it’s going to play right into the hands of people like Glen Beck, calling the President “inattentive- - so that lives were lost”.  Remember that?  How can they be upset at four lives needlessly lost in Bengazi and the fuel that added to the Republican charges- - and yet somehow the deaths of 1400 innocents, will somehow be ignored by these same Republicans.  If you don't think this will provide an abiding source of "fodder" for the Republicans in the coming months - - you're kidding yourselves!  If the situation deteriorates any further in Syria you know the Republicans are going to launch a “Who lost Syria?” campaign like Harry Truman faced with China.  John Kerry says “People are watching us around the world to see what kind of moral judgements we’ll make on this situation”.  The idea of national honor is suddenly one of those expressions nobody is allowed to use now.

Global warming is an issue we SHOULD all be concerned about.  One day this week we had ninety and even over one hundred degree weather- - combined with violent thunder and even hail storms.  I said to Bill "Do my eyes deceive me or is that hail coming down in those pictures?"  "It's hail" he said.  You have the Yousemite fire that has raged for over a week and even now is only 35% contained.  You have a major drought throughout all parts of the west, with accompanying forest fires that are almost expected to set records for severity- - on an anual basis.  I guess this Yousemite fire has already burned 350 square miles.  Smoke from it is making its way into the San Juaquin Valley.  They said the recomended ammount of Carbon Dioxide in the atnosphere is 350 parts per Million or something.  And we have already exceeded that.  It's now a question of if or when we will surpass the "danger figure".  We already have.  We have seen more flookish weather in the past few years than I ever remember growing up.  I hope one area where the President DOES stand his ground is on the Canadian pipeline to Texas.  They say the proposed pipeline has "passed all the environmental tests".  I don't believe it.  The question to me if not whether there will be a major leak in the pipeline but WHEN.  Why do we need an energy policy in the 21st century with its head securely burried in the nineteenth century?  Makes no sense.  Somebody made a joke about how this President has shown what a Black man can accomplish if he's intelligent and dedicated and hard working, and does everything wall street wants him to do".   The Republicans want to impeach this President.  Actually I think we'd do better as a country with Joe Byden as President.  The big reason why I am against impeachment is because it would take precious time away from the many things the Republican House should be working on.  I'm surprised how gung ho they are in impeachment given the few working days Congress will be in session the remainder of the year.

You know they had a book out many years ago called "Games People Play".  Today I'd like to talk about the Polyanna game.  Hillary made a key point in her campaign of 2008 for President.  She said that "making a speech" and lofty expressions are fine as far as they go.  But they won't get legislation passed.  Sure you needed a Jesse Jackson and a Martin Luther King- - but just as and probably More important to the equation was having Lyndon Johnson as President who was willing to push for Civil Rights Legislation.  I've seen leaders and pastors talking about how they are such Positive People and they hate negativity and will criticize it when ever is comes up in conversation from their perisheners.  It's not that they are really into Positivism, but what they are really are is into Denial.  They will pump people's skirts full of sunshine right up to the day they leave- - without any notice because - - God called them to another post, and of course you can't disobey God.  Of the other varient of this is "I don't want to be dragged down by your problems and negativity- - and I think it's just God's way of telling you that- - "You have your own path to pursue- - that doesn't involve my help".  Why- - that "own path" line sounds almost mystic, doesn't it?  President Obama was all pie in the sky to get elected- - but he's pretty much absent from the Front- - when it gets into battle down in the trenches.  Pastors embrace this pie in the sky positivism as their way of saying that they are somehow above it all- - and that problems of ordenary people are beneathe them.   Think about it.

Pot Smoking in Colorado, Washington Is OK Now

I've been working for a Mad Man
All the live-long Day
I've been working for a Mad Man
He corrupted the N S A
He's been collecting files on us
From the minute we were Born
He'll execute you for Desertion
On a dark and threatening Morn

The Obama administration has issued one of those famous executive orders a lot of people will like in the states of Colorado and Washington, where recreational marijuana use is now legal.  The Federal government had decreed that they will not prosecute these cases, either clearing the way to having “completely legal” pot smoking in the United States for the first time since 1936.  Maybe they should declare today a holiday.  I can only imagine the howels of protests that will come from the right wing bolviators such as Rush Limbaugh on this subject.  So now “Rocky Mountain High” will live up to the true meaning of the song title.

The National Football league, which is basically the 32 team owners- - has agreed to pay a sum of 760 million dollars in reperations to the players who have suffered some sort of brain damage caused by head trauma due to violent hits that the NFL has encouraged over the years.  They said that 4,600 players are directly impacted by this ruling and are elligable for medical exams even if they think they are suffering from symptums.  Of course a specific type of brain injury caused players such as Junior Sayou to commit suicide.  But there will be no “discovery”, which means that there will be no probing for evidence- - and the NFL can close the books on this one without ever having to admit guilt.  Many people think they got off too easy.

George Zimmerman’s wife says they had a spat or something the day before George shot Trayvon, and that his wife was not home that night.  They lived in a trailer, making them true rednecks.  Shelly expressed anxiety of being in the gun sights of snipers at various times, including when the verdict first came down- there was fear that snipers would be shooting from outside the window and to get out of the line of fire.  She said that she wasn’t going to discuss the exact state of their relationship.  When asked if she would stay with Zimmerman she responded “That’s something I’m going to have to think about”.  Don’t think too hard.  The wife said that Zimmerman was a changed man, but she would not say how.

In yet another executive decision of the Obama Administration- - they said that it would be OK for ALL gay married people to do joint tax forms on their IRS, even in states where it’s still illegal for homosexuals to marry.  To me this is another finger in the eye of all of the traditional moralists- - and I would imagine this is topic number one with Rush Limbaugh.  As you know this one thing that gay protagonists were hoping would be included in that Supreme Court Ruling last June that was left as a “gray area”.  Well now you people can rest easier.

Jeopardy is on now but I still haven’t made coffee.  I’ve been busy patting my head down with water in this cool room because I’ve been hot.  Janet provided five chocolates for me to eat and later Bill produced a big, iced cinnamon roll I ate.  It was around ninety still at a quarter to six, and Dallas Rains confirmed that it got up to 96 today in LA and 88 degrees at UCLA.  They said that both Riverside and Woodland Hills reached 106 degrees.  Riverside Community College was so flooded out with water they canceled classes and sent students home.  So how strange is it that- - there was a sudden hail storm in the San Barnadino mountains yesterday in a place called Forest Falls wast of Mentone.  The road was washed out with mud slides in at least three different places, and the crews doubted they could have it all cleared away by midnight but suggested that local residents might want to get a motel room.

I suggest that everybody listen to John Kerry's speech today.  Even the Arab League is on board with us.  The French are with is.  Kerry is no war hawk.  Kerry hates war but he hates moral attrocities like this even more.  But people like Moe Kelly like to retreat to the world inside their mind.  .Moe Kelly points out the fact that short attention spans work in favor of the status quo.  This is true as far as a one day boycott of the fast food industry, and it’s also true in the Trayvon Martin case- - as Collin Powel pointed out today - - that people get mad about it at the time - - and then “these things have a tendancy to disapate”.  And it’s kind of this say with the Syria thing.  Reading over past postings of mine on blogspot.com - - I’ve been at it for months now beating the drums for some kind of reprisals against Syria.  And frankly I don’t think they should be “pin pricks” either.  When the mafia has something against you where they feel you have double crossed them - - they beat you up pretty good “so you’ll remember it”.  I think we need to give Bashar Assad “something he’ll remember”.  I remember Kennedy’s remark about our enemies saying “We dare not tempt them with weakness”.  I think we need to do a major bombing raid campaign- - so he’ll know who he’s messing with and won’t be “tempted” to think he can win the day.  It strikes me that we only want to get into “safe wars” like with Saddam Hussein because we KNEW he didn’t have formidable defenses.  So much of what we hear now from people like Pat Buchanon is stuff like “We don’t need to make Russia feel threatened  by encircling it with more NATO nations”.   And a bit reason for not being “offended” by this chemical weapons incident- - is that “Well- - what if Assad retaliates against us?”   That would be like the police refusing to arrest anybody committing a crime without positive assurance they weren’t armed in advance.  Life doesn’t work that way.  The entire philosophy is silly.

Events are pre-destined.  I and the Federation teach that en-grams transcend time.  It's not a case of a human at one end of the leash and a dog on the other.  It's a case of the en-gram wall controlling both Man and Dog- - - Cause and Effect, whichever you want to say is what.   We teach that en-grams co exist in a world with Higgs bozons.  Keep in mind bozons are a whole separate specific type of subatomic particle.  They aren't what we call "Leptons' such as electrons or photons, with no mass and yet still in the 'fermion' class of particles.  Bozons are a different kind of animal.  Because of the nature of this "ring" bozon particle they associate with - - - and due to the machinations of einstinian physics- - en-grams cannot be "localized" in time.  Which is another way of saying that Time itself is not a relivent factor with en-grams.  We may think that the mind of man controls the en-gram, but what if the "dog" turns out to be the one who is really controlling things and We are just Along for the Ride?  Think about it.

The Unsolved Mystery of Hannah Anderson

I believe I’m going to re-think my position on the Hannah Anderson situation.  The sister of the deceast De Maggio told her now dead brother “You have to watch out for that one”.  The sister doesn’t trust Hannah and says that she’s not what she seems.  Moe Kelly almost paints a George Zimmerman type of scene here where you have the star, Hannah - - primping for the cameras and having a high old time, seemingly never in better spirits.  Hannah says that she wrote those letters to De Maggio “While I was having a feud with my mother”.  Of course we can’t ask De Maggio what his take on this whole thins is because he’d dead,  just as we can’t ask Trayvon his take on what happened in Sanford, Florida on February 26th 2012.   Moe wonders that since the death of Anderson’s mother was administered by a crowbar, whether Hannah just might not have done it herself.   It seems there is not one photograph on any of Hanna’s facebook pages of either her dead mother or brother.  And that at the funeral there are three shots of her smiling and sitting on a Starbuck’s coffee.   Of course the house where her mother and brother were killed was set ablaze to try and cover up the crime.  As Moe describes Hanna’s subsequent conduct, I must her behavior seems very strange to me- - for a sixteen year old in mourning.  I don’t know if we are looking at a sociopathic personality or not.  More information is needed.

There are so many inequeties in society.  I don’t think fast food workers make nearly enough money- but Rush Limbaugh says that $7.50 is the market rate for wages in this industry and to consider paying more- - you might as well make it twenty or fifty.  Rush and other conservatives have used this sort of not funny sarcasm before, but usually it’s mocking the idea that a minimum wage would help the economy.  I think a consumer strike is an excellent idea, perhaps on a permanent basis.  You see comparing it to a consumer’s strike on gasoline really is comparing apples and oranges.  You don’t need junk food.  You do need gasoline if you’re going to commute every day to work and to the store.  I think is progressives all got together and just made it as a matter of practice to not patronize these fast food places- - we could break them.  It would certainly generate a lot of press coverage and media debate.  I would say that a fifty percent raise immediately is perfectly in order.  They say that in Austrailia the average fast food worker makes fifteen dollars an hour.  We don’t need to go that high- - at least at first.  But someone said that on what workers at Mac Donald’s and other places get paid- - they make only fifteen thousand dollars a year, which is significantly below the poverty line.  But the deck is stacked against the prospective employee in general.  As I say you have college grads competing with high school drop-outs for the same positions, creating a glut of workers in these lower paying occupations.  But even in other areas- - some newspaper ads say “Must be currently employed” to get a new job.  But why do they have to check your credit rating.  You’re seeking a job so you can EARN money - - not borrow it.  It would almost seem as if this rule is instituted to screen out lower income people- - who may be juggeling bills- - and to prevent upward mobility, which conservatives think is better in the United States than other nations of the world, when the exact opposite is true.   Of course Judy had an excellent suggestion what to do if you’re dissatisfied with your bank, and almost everybody seems to be.  That is to switch to a Credit Union because you get a better deal all around there.  Since Credit Unions are backed by the worker’s money- - you know the source of it.  LOGEX sounds like one of these computer outfits but is actually an offshoot of Lockheed Aircraft- - made available to the general public.

We then have the story of a fourteen year old female student having had sex with a 54 year old teacher.  When this Montana judge got the case- - he gave the man just thirty days.  I get the definite impression he didn’t have to register as a sex offender or anything.  He said it was “Because this girl exhibited certain traits of being older than her chronological age”.  That remark sounds a little sexist to me.  Oh - - and just one more thing.  This young girl committed suicide and is no longer with us.  She couldn’t take the pressure during the two years this case was litigated.   There are now steps being taken to impeach this Montana judge.

Our whole government is really messed up, of course.  The Republican Congress does not even return to Washington for another week and a half, or September 9th.   It has become quite clear that this President is going to do nothing about the Syrian gassing of children.  It seems that now our nation lacks the will to push back in an even minor way- - no matter how shocking the aggression.  Of course President Bush had everybody including the liberal media eating out of the palm of his hand in 2002 and early 2003.  Nobody questioned the wisdom of going into Iraq.  In fact we were so in love with the idea of being in a near state of perpetual war for eight years in Iraq alone- - that political campaigns could be lost if one candidate so much as breathed the idea of a “timetable of withdrawal”.  Bush was a President who single handedly was responsible for the deaths of 120,000 Iraqi civilians, and who joked at the idea that “I can’t seem to find those weapons of mass destruction”.   The sad part of the thing was that everyone in the room was actually laughing when there is nothing funny about it.  Also it seems Attorney General Holder has issued some deal or promise never to prosecute Bush, Chaney, Rumsfelt, Wolfiwitz, Rice – or any others involved in our foreign policy.  I get the idea he was going to issue some blanket before-the-fact pardon, to totally immunize them.  Now we hear Rathion stock has run up in the past few weeks because they manufacture the Cruise Missiles we would be using if there were to be an attack.  But of course the President is going to that Soviet summit or whatever next week.  And of course never expect any politician to work on a holiday weekend.  So the idea of taking any action at all in Syria is pretty much out the window.

Brook Shields has criticized Miley Sirus for her “obscene routing” at the MTV awards or whatever a few nights ago.  I guess I didn’t see it.  Moe Kelly says that they were specifically moves used in the pornography industry.  Miley is only twenty and I guess she is “growing up”.  I guess that’s what her pimp would say if she had one.  So much for all that Disney innocence and niceness.   Moe Kelly loves to carp at Black artists for one imagined shortcoming or another.  Now he’s down on Black artists who say they will just “show up” at protest events as opposed to, I don’t know, delivering some Martin Luther King-like manifesto or something?   I will say that personally - - the Trayvon Martin verdict did seem to meet with a lot of apathetic yawns in the entertainment community, with only a few artists like Stevie Wonder, with the courage to take a moral stand.  Good for him.  Donald Trump is also in the news for conning people out of $35,000 for attending his “Investment College”.  Moe says that it’s silly for someone who already HAS money to have to be told “How to make it”.  I’m not sure why Trump would feel so financially desperate that he’d have to engage in a two-bit con game like this.  But Trump is absolutely right on the Obama birth certificate, I hate to say it.  The long form certificate IS bogus, and it’s amply demonstrated if you visit the proper web sites.  It’s been tinkered with with Adobe software.  But I think it adds to Trump’s credibility that Trump has offered to personally pay anybody five million dollars if they would produce the president’s college transcripts. I’d produce MY college transcripts to the media for five million.  Hell, I’d do it for five thousand!  I can’t imaging that the President of the United States is so RICH that five million dollars is an insignificant amount of money to him.  While I reject more of these right wing promotions and scare jobs about President Obama, I must admit that there is a grain of truth in some charges.
