Say Hello To President Trump

This is Wednesday November 9, 2016.  Last night Donald Trump was elected 45th President of the United States.  This is a triangulation of the number nine.  Trump got 48% of the popular vote so did not exceed fifty.  Hillary also got 48% in fact she got a few more votes than did Trump making his a negative margin of popular victory just like Bush.  Gary Johnson got 3% and Jill Stein got one percent.  It was maybe a quarter after seven when I was getting my medication when I got the sinking feeling Trump might actually win.  Hillary won all the places she wanted to win at such as South Florida and the big cities of Pennsylvania.  But the WORMS were on the march- - white, old, rural, men.  It was the last gasp of the redneck generation.  Michigan and Arizona still haven’t been decided but are leaning Trump.  Trump has 278 electoral votes without these two states and apparently made his victory statement around midnight.  People on the East Coast wouldn’t have seen it.  Now Hillary has to realize that she will never be commander in chief, something she’s worked half her life for.  Protests have broken out all over the country like on the UCLA and Berkley college campuses.  If the economy tanks or we get into a major war we’ll have only the Trumpster to blame for it.  I imagine certain immigrant communities are greeting the news of a Trump presidency with fear.  Last night they were too obsessed with the Electoral College and also did endless interviews.  Their coverage of Congressional races, both of the House and the Senate- suffered.  I tried to look it up today and all I know is that Trump will be working with a Republican House and Senate both for the first time since before 2006 under Bush.  In other words they’ll have to take responsibility for every piece of legislation passed or not passed- and every Supreme Court justice appointed.  Since I didn’t have any coffee at night I grew drowsy and went to bed before nine thirty.  However I woke up at twenty to four and knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep.  I went out and had a cigarette and then listened to Donald Trump’s victory speech on TV and he says Hillary conceded to him personally.  I turned out the lights and tried to get more sleep at ten after four but a half hour later at twenty to five I knew that was useless.  I looked up the propositions on computer because TV was slow to get them out.  Propositions 51 and 52 and 55 and 58 passed.  57, the get out of prison for free if you’re a violent offender one also passed.  60, the condoms one failed.  Proposition 61 failed but not by that much.  I lot of people bought into the discounted drugs argument.  Proposition 62 failed because Californians still want the Death Penalty.  The anti gun and ammunition proposition passed, 63, as did the Marijuana initiative Prop 64.  You can grow up to six marijuana plants for your own use but you can’t sell it on the street.  You can’t smoke marijuana in public.  The trash bag initiative hasn’t been decided yet.

In the end, Hillary Clinton became the face of a corrupt, arrogant and out-of-touch Establishment, while Donald Trump emerged as an almost perfectly imperfect vessel for a populist fury that had bubbled beneath the surface of America.  There is clearly much to fear from a Trump presidency, especially coupled with continued Republican control of  Congress. Trump and many Republicans have denied the reality of climate change; they favor more tax cuts for the rich; they want to deregulate Wall Street and other powerful industries – all policies that helped create the current mess that the United States and much of the world are now in.
This is Monday November 7, 2016 and Hillary Clinton had to defend that rapist she got off of charges, because she was assigned that case by a judge and she was a public defender working pro bono.  Thom Hartman reminds us that voter suppression is hot and heavy these days closing down long standing polling places in democratic areas.  It’s an all out power play by the republicans.  Yesterday about dinner time James Comey issued a letter to congress saying that he has no intention to file charges against Hillary Clinton.  The E mails are either copies of ones the FBI has already looked at, or they are not germain to the topic.   Trump and Gingrich are saying that Comey “backed down in the face of democratic pressure”.  Perhaps Comey had twinges of political conscience.  We have not yet seen new poll numbers after this event.   Dow Jones stock futures were up right after the announcement came out.
We had soup for lunch followed by prepared pork pieces, scalloped potatoes and spinach.  We had some kind of yellow cake concoction with whipped cream on it.  I listened to Gary and Shannon.  The stock market closed up despite initial anxieties.  I was informed I had to leave for the dentist’s at one but I got to watch the first half of my soap opera.  Teresa’s plan to make Brady believe she’s gone back to booze and drugs is well under-way.  I went down to the lobby and soon met with my ride.  My old “friend” Arcadio from room 219 was there along with Mary Burnes.  Her doctor was practically across the street from mine so we went down Lampson.  I got there at a quartet to two and smoked a cigarette.  I was called into the dentist chair at ten to two and soon after this the procedure had started.  This crown went smoothly except there seemed to be more picking at various teeth.  It was the far upper left tooth and I remember someone told me that tooth needed a crown over thirty years ago.  There seemed to be less time getting the temporary to fit perfectly this outing.  I got done at seven after three, which was fast work.  I went out to the street to smoke a cigarette but soon the van appeared and I put the cigarette out.  He didn’t park in front of me but down the street, which confused me.  They played “Fade to Black” by Metallica.  Officially that’s supposed to be the Orion Federation’s favorite Metallica song, but mine is “The Thing That Should Not Be”.  We got home at three thirty and I had plenty of time to smoke the rest of my cigarette.

Hold Your Nose- And Your Breath

November fifth was Guy Fawks day and the perfect day for the Breeders Cup at Santa Anita.  Bill chose to watch that rather than football.  NBC just had an hour’s coverage but that did the job.  I had the definite feeling that California Chrome would NOT win this race despite the fact it was considered a foregone conclusion that he would.  He’s won other breeder’s cups and had inverted betting odds of four to five.  But a horse named Arrowgate won.  California Chrome led the entire race, usually comfortably.  But Arrowgate made its move toward the end of the race and in the final twenty yards poured on the power and won.   There is a disturbing connection to Donald Trump pulling ahead and beating Hillary in the past week or so after being behind literally for the entire duration of this political race.  Newt Gingrich this morning on Meet the Press says he’s not optimistic about the losing side just “grinning and bearing it” or taking it in stride or whatever.  This is too much a polarized nation and whoever wins there will be four years of strife.  Chris Matthews, Tom Brokov and others joined Chuck Todd today.  They had the state by state analysis and Clinton still has the electoral edge over Trump, thank God- at least as of Today.  It looks like the Senate will be a fifty fifty tie with seats 51 and 52 too close to call.  We can hope.  The thing is, unlike the entire rest of the campaign, Trump has gone two weeks without making any major mistakes.  I had Breakfast with the Beatles on but it was one of their duller shows.  It was supposed to be different versions of Beatle songs but a lot of the versions were indistinguishable from the versions released.

A total of 83 percent of likely voters believe that Clinton did something wrong – 51 percent saying she did something illegal and 32 percent saying she something unethical but not illegal.  Just 14 percent said she’s done nothing wrong.   By comparison, 79 percent think Donald Trump did something wrong, though not nearly as many think he did something illegal. Just 26 percent think he’s done something illegal, while 53 percent think he’s dome something unethical but not illegal. Just 17 percent think he’s done nothing wrong.  17% and 14% thinking that Trump and Clinton, respectively, did nothing wrong is not a meaningful difference.  The real difference is that twice as many voters think Clinton broke the law as thing that Trump did.  .

(Typed yesterday)  The Presidential race is so close it’s kind of a lost cause to believe the Democrats will even win the Senate this year, let alone the House.  Some people may be tempted to vote for Trump just to get a congress the President can work with.  But remember that the next several Supreme Court justices hang in the balance, which will affect our life for generations.  We can’t afford to take chances with that even by staying home and not voting as an act of protest.  We must vote for Hillary even if we’re not happy with her in so many ways.  The following blog no doubt echoes the opinions of many Americans and things Trump himself has been saying about how we’d have a “Constitutional crisis” if we voted Hillary in because Trump says (and ABC disputes) that the word from the FBI has gone out that Hillary will definitely be indicted.  I strongly disagree with that contention.   So is this election “rigged” by either side or not?  The answer is plain.  If Trump wins on Tuesday and I'm doing a post mortum on the Democrats' demise- - we have Debby Wasserman Schultz to blame for one, for sabotaging Bernie Sander's campaign denying the voters a clear look at the issues that divide the left from the right.  This is a big f---ing thing!  Secondly to blame of course is William Comey himself, director of the FBI.  But perhaps winner of the grand prize is the American Broadcast Media, with their giving Donald Trump free media coverage all year.  They say that Hillary has had to outspend Trump.  When you are going up against the media, what can you do?

Rhapsody in Black featured non rock and roll jazz type music.  There was a Ray Charles song.  There was Lou Rawls singing skat in one portion of a song, and other non rock songs.  Cosmically they are classified as Torino non A.  That’s what those who aren’t Torino A’s are properly referred to as lacking the Reigelian immunity A factor.  That’s for the benefit of you new readers.  For dinner we had turkey and cauliflour.  We were supposed to have had stuffing and I hoped they’d serve stuffing late, like they did one time before, but they didn’t.  We had grapes for dessert.  The Breeders Cup is on now and California Chrome is slated to win because that horse is on a winning streak.  I still have a few of Terry’s muffins left but I’m not going to eat them anytime soon because of the high bran content.

We had veal parmazon for lunch with flavored noodles and fall squash cut up.  We had tapioca pudding for dessert.  Chris Marquardt was talking about lens apiture when he should have made it clear depth of focus depends on focal length rather than apiture because a shorter focal length brings you closer to infinity and the closer to infinity you are the greater your depth of focus.  Leo Le Port was talking a lot about an uninterrupted power source and saw-toothed sine waves.  He also talked about how picky I Phones can be when it comes to texting.  Bill seems to never have been in worse pain.

Today We Don't "Fix" Problems Anymore

It is said that even if Donald Trump wins on Tuesday there will be twelve million new milenials ellagable to vote in four years than there are now.  By that same logic there were 36 million fewer milenians ellagable to vote in the reelection of George Bush in 2004.  That would be 48 million fewer milenials than there will be in 2020.  That's a lot of voters!  So how is all these new demographic data working out.  We are told that America is becoming a "browner" country now with more racial minorities voting Democratic.  We've been hearing stories like this for years that "the next democratic sweep is just around the corner?"  But now it's time to face reality.  Just to refresh your memory George Bush won in 2004 in a squeaker of an election involving voting machine fraud in Ohio.  Many of us voted for George Bush on age old arguments like "let him finish the job he started" like having elections in Iraq where we presumably would be happy with whatever government the people freely elected.  We heard all these happy stories about purple thumbs.   Congress was supposed to "fix" problems such as the immigration problem with real immigration reform like the President wanted to bring minorities out of the shadows.  And congress was supposed to "fix" Social Security one way or the other, either by some privitazation, which I was open to in those days, or in some other way such as raising taxes on the rich.  But this congress wasn't popular by the standards of the day and the democrats took over in 2006.  In the mean time we saw signs that there was a progressive tide coming in such as the radio station KTLK here in Los Angeles with guests such as Randy Rhodes and Al Franken and Ed Schultz.  Bills of impeachment against President Bush were drawn up as the 35 articles of Impeachment.  This is because of the vast apperatus of mass wiretapping of innocent Americans came to light and Bush lying about having to go to the FISA court.  (You new voters take notes)  There was also wide spread oppinion that Guantanamo Bay should close down due to widespread abuses of torture.  There were also a lot of scandals of Republican congressmen tilting the tide toward the democrats.  Governor Swartzenegger held a special election in fall of 2005 where most of his conservative agenda failed, and what followed in January was one of the most progressive budgets we'd seen in decades.  "So, what's your point?", you ask.  It's simple.  People said then that the pendulum was swinging back to the left because "It had swung about as far right as it could go, and it had to happen".  Well that was then and this is now.  George Bush had a lot more political background than Trump and also wasn't as conservative as Donald Trump.  Hillary is a better campaigner than was John Kerry.  So by all right Hillary should be wiping the floor with Trump.  But since the poll numbers are within the margin of error clearly this isn't the case now.  Some FORCE (for lack of a better word) appears to have its thumb on the scales now tilting the political balance to the hard right, still.  Think about it.

Thom Hartmann relates that we have a racial problem when racism is considered “smart” rather than reactionary and backward thinking.  We had Woodrow Wilson as a racist because he was a democrat from North Carolina.  We never learned about Woodrow Wilson’s racism in our history books because all they wanted to talk about was the Fourteen Points and how the US rejected the League of Nations after WW I.  But then racism went intellectual in the 1920s with people like Margeret Sanger and other eugenicists.  Then in the thirties Hitler politicized these intellectual musings of American and British racism of the 1920’s.   Then later on we had the “thoughtful racists” like Shockley who talked about the “bell curve” and how Blacks always wind up on the lower end of it.  I myself as a youth was a strong believer in how environment is everything and genes and race mean nothing.  Perhaps I wanted to rationalize my own short comings and problems others imagined me to have.  Today I’m not a 100% environment type person.  I have mellowed with age.  But clearly when it comes to race we as a nation are still racist, which is why so many Blacks and Latinos still end up in prison with our system.  You have the “tradition” of police being the remnant of “slave patrols” the 2nd amendment was designed to protect by the States.  And you have shows like last night’s unhappy flashback to the abuse of slaves.  Hartman fielded a caller who was a white in South Korea and he as a white tried to explain he was there to protect South Koreans, but these were maurading teenage gangs out to hassle him, and he felt helpless.  He says “I never looked at race the same way again”.

Other nations have strong Third Parties because they have the Parliamentary system of government where Presidents and Prime Ministers are elected by coalitions of parliament and not directly by the people.  The founding fathers did not trust direct election by the masses who can be swayed by mob rule, which we are certainly witnessing this year with the Trump campaign.  The majority of Americans are “repulsed” by this current campaign.  Therefore electors under the constitution are free to vote for whom anyone they want.  Most democracies of the world now came after this philosopher guy of 1860 or whenever who said that “winner take all” wasn’t fair because you could win with 34% in a three man race and 26% in a four man race.  One question that remains unanswered is how come the Green Party in Germany holds so much sway unless legislators actually WIN individual elections.  You don’t even have that here.

People who say there is more racism and racial disharmony the past eight years aren’t lamenting a sad truth; they are BRAGGING.  Rush Limbaugh is proud that there is so much racial tension in America now.  It’s like “Mission Accomplished”.   The same goes for insurance rates for the Affordable Care Act.  These have skyrocketed in the past few years, which is just what Republicans have been WANTING so they could BRAG about accomplishing it.  It’s the old principle about sabotaging something in advance to INSURE its failure then say “We tried it your way and we failed”.   The same could be said about the economy.  They do a thumbs down on any and all economic stimulus programs Obama tried to get through congress.  Then when the economy fails to do what we’d like given today’s weak new jobs figures- - they can say “Look, we told you so”.  The Republicans WANT a weak economy so they can use it as a campaign tool to win next time.  I hope anybody reading this is wise enough to see through all these games.

Those two cops sitting in their squad cars who were murdered last week- - were murdered because a White guy was stopped from waving a Confederate flag during a football game.  My guess is Shawn Hannity won’t touch this story with a ten foot pole.  You get the feeling there are a lot of republicans who won't want to touch the new Donald Trump administration with a ten foot pole, either.  How do Trump supporters feel about the Civil War.  Was it "The war of Northern agression?"  Sometimes it's important to remind ourselves why we fought it.  Last night they had a thing on TV about Zombies in the Civil War and how their presence tilted the balance to the Confederacy and how it was necessary to "correct" history.  So when are they going to do the episode about "correcting" the past eight years?  It was that time-warp show on slavery oppression and the Civil War.  If Blacks escaped and were brought back they would have their genitals cut off and they’d be knee-capped so they’d be permanently crippled and unable to run ever again.  It’s the Annie Wilkes doctrine of “They’re worth too much in labor just to kill them”.  This one Black guy completely forgot how slaves were supposed to relate back then.   You see Blacks can't just "forget" because there are too many White people out there ready to "remind" them, if they forget who they are?

There is a whole area left untouched by this morning’s blog and that resolves around the idea of the Federal Reserve.  It used to be Judy was against the activities of the Federal Reserve but she’s been strangely silent about that the past few years and acted puzzled about it when I’d bring it up.  The Fed is paying businesses a trillion or more dollars of printing press money NOT to lend out all the money they have.  The Fed’s printing press money had financed the stock market and if you’re Judy or if you’re Mom you need to worry that the rug could be pulled out from underneath you any minute.  Normally this would be a cause for anxiety but not this year.  Not with Paul and Judy.  Traditionally if there is a strong economy on Election Day it bodes well for the party in power but that rule appears to be thrown out this year.  Deficits are down but nobody is even talking about deficits now.  You have President Obama and Vice President Biden, and first lady Michelle and Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren- - the whole gang- - campaigning for Hillary Clinton and it isn’t doing a bit of good.  Neither is all this so called “boots on the ground” poll monitoring done by the Hillary camp.  Trump may not be organized but he’s getting the job done regardless.  An area where Trump will be in trouble with the Neo Cons however is the area of immigration.  Because all of these so called “trade agreements” have provisions in them that allows for unfettered immigration from one nation to another.  Of course Britain and France and other European nations don’t “vet” their Moslems as thoroughly as we do and they’ve had a lot of problems with terrorists there.  Thom Hartman regards the nation like a cell with membranes that either let things in or keep them out to protect the integrity of the cell.  Blanket amnesty is not my way of solving the immigration problem and nobody has suggested that- - except for Ronald Reagan who actually did it in 1986.  Too many minorities drive down the wage base.  Furthermore these people should remain in their own countries to fight for liberties there- - instead of one nation casting off its ‘undesirables’ to another country who somehow has to absorb them.  But this tendency to restrict free immigration is an area where Trump goes up against the Neo Cons.  They’ll have to work it out after the election.  Israel is another area where the Neo Cons and your traditional John Bircher of the 1950’s are at odds.  Sheldon Addelson is your typical Jewish mafia type whose ring all the candidates must kiss if they’re going to get his endorsement and all of the money that goes with it.

A black Christian church was firebombed in Mississippi- - not fifty years ago but last night.  Somewhere there was a spray-canned message of “Vote for Trump”.  Norman Goldman is talking now about Timothy Mc Vey and the Oklahoma City bombing of April 1995 where over a hundred people lost their lives.  Donald Trump needs to repudiate the KKK and other hate groups.  In 1995 many blamed the Oklahoma City bombing on the atmosphere of hate generated by Talk Radio.  It would seem that Talk Radio is fertile ground to get revved up for Trump supporters to stoke their general hatred.    Meanwhile there has been “leak after leak by the FBI” according to Norman Goldman.  Rush Limbaugh made the case this morning that the whole E mail server in the house bit is because Hillary was trying to hide the fact that the Clinton Foundation is giving out political favors for money.  Now there is a “document dump” on the Clinton pardon of Mark Rich.  Meanwhile there is a secret server tying Donald Trump to Vladimir Putin directly.  Norman Goldman is saying there is an FBI “civil war” of the “battle of the leakers”.  You have leaks and counter-leaks.  All I can say is if Trump wins on November 8th and the next day the FBI says there was no evidence against Hillary Clinton after all, a lot of Democrats themselves are going to cry “foul” as they witness a true election rigging.  (Selah)  In Arizona, Nevada, Florida, and in Pennsylvania- - Donald Trump is considered the more honest of the two candidates.  It’s amazing what a little FBI leaking will do in “trial by imuendo”.

A BLAST FROM THE PAST:  Sept 2005  Rush Limbaugh was a bore today.  We have a reality where thousands of people may be dead in New Orleans.  They still have not even begun to count the dead bodies.  They’re only saying they don’t expect to find too many people still alive, which seems very premature.  One ex governor said that tens of thousands of people may be dead.  We’re living with the reality of another 9 – 11 type emergency, so both Bush Administrations will be over-shadowed by tradgities.  This event will cast a shadow into the future for a long time. [maretial omitted here]  All the talk shows are bringing up the subject of race and income pertaining to the refugees from New Orleans.  Rush Limbaugh went so far as to contrast New Orleans with Houston, which he describes as a much healthier city, with more of an entrepreneurial spirit.  He says Houston had to dredge out their harbors to make way for oil tankers whereas New Orleans had a natural harbor.  The people of Houston just have more of a “can do” spirit and aren’t dominated to Liberal politics and Black mayors the way New Orleans is.  As I said this event is going to cast a shadow for the next year or two, until an even bigger storm comes along and they will deny that that is Global warming, too.  They need our continuing prayers.  There are not steady convoys of busses leading from the Superdome to Houston.  Instead looters have shot at helicopters there to rescue people.  The stadium did not have any food in the concession stands.  If there were all the beer would be consumed.  Of course there is no air conditioning and the place is beginning to smell.  All of the toilets are backed up.  They should enjoy riding on an air conditioned bus.  People like reporters are starting to “tour the town” to confirm that looters seem to only be down town and not in the “Garden district” plundering rich peoples’ houses.  People are saying maybe the New Orleans Saints will want to move to LA.  I guess talk of that is premature.  Apparently the stock markets are up.  Gasoline prices locally are hovering around $2.85.  I guess that isn’t too bad.  I guess our local refineries are good for something, though you’d never know it most of the time.  Obviously we’re going to experience another of those “9 – 11” type economic slumps.  People like Rush are looking for that pot of gold- that silver lining, economically down the road.  I wouldn’t count my chickens before they’re hatched.  Sometimes a bad event is just a bad event.

June 2007:  The lead story of this day appears to be that people like Congress even less than they do our President.  President Bush is at 29% in the polls, which is one point from his all time low.  But Congress clocks in at 23%.  There is little mystery about why the people think so little of Congress.  In 2004 the American people elected congress to fix the Social Security impending time bomb when the baby boomers retire in about ten years.  They didn’t get it done.  Last November they elected a congress to end the War in Iraq and to fix the looming immigration problem.  Now congress is under pressure to address both of these problems.  But they live by an axiom: When in Doubt, Cowardice is the Way to Go.  This whole idea of “Not making a mistake” is an ethic we have the Born Again Christians to thank for – particularly people like Chuck Smith.  They believe if God doesn’t do it, then it wasn’t very important to begin with.  But congress apparently is busy about screwing up any possible energy bill.  Liquid coal conversion is an idea that I myself flirted with.  We have all of this coal in Montana; why can’t we turn it into gasoline like the Nazis did during W W II?  The answer is because the “carbon footprint” is double normal gasoline production, and it also turns mountains into moonscapes.  In Alberta, Canada they tried it with their “oil sands”, and though it made a lot of money for investors, it devastated the land and resulted in the destruction of countless forests.  And congress wants to fund this giant plane that’s supposed to take off vertically and fly at seven hundred miles per hour.  But it doesn’t do either of these things.  Congress is supposedly working on a gasoline mileage bill where all vehicles are required to get at least 35 m p g.  But they are filling this bill with loopholes.  Someone has pointed out that while people are buying SUV’s their roll over rate is more hazardous for small children than an ordinary sedan.  Some like Thom Hartman say that Bush secretly enjoys the idea that the Iraq war has pushed up oil prices because we have incapacitated that country.

A Donald Trump Presidency is an Imminent Threat Now

Well now National Ruin is knocking right at the door.  Trump and Hillary are tied for who is the most popular.  This is the first time Trump has been so high in the polls since May.  So how do you persuade those sitting on the fence still to vote for Hillary.  It could be you may not like Trump being overtly supported by the KKK.  This is the most open support of any presidential candidate, ever.   Trump is going on trial for two things next month.  He’s being tried for the rape of a thirteen year old girl.  And he’s being tried for fraud coming from his failed Trump University.  There are at least two areas where Trump could be impeached his first day in office, and I’m not even talking about giving Nuclear weapons to Saudi Arabia or Oman or Yemen.  James Comey and the FBI may be all upset about a new batch of E mails but he chooses to ignore Trump's collusion with Putin to sabotage an US election with compuer hacking.  James Comey is like a republican plant in a democratic administration and he's proving that with his action last Friday.  This is an overtly political act and many argue it violates the Hatch Act of 1939.  But we’ll let that pass for the moment.  Trump has this alliance with Putin and Russia to sabotage the Clinton campaign by computer hacking and the FBI doesn’t want to look into that.  This Putin connection will be no small concern of any new Congress be they democratic or republican.  Also there is the matter of Trump saying he knows more than the Generals on topics such as torture of terrorism suspects.  If he “orders” the military to torture suspects and they refuse, this will instantly set up a constitutional crisis.  Judy told me last March or so that she thought Trump had the makings of a dictator.  Obviously she has since changed her mind.  Now having a dictator isn’t so bad if he upholds ‘Christian values’ such as unrestricted firearms.  Judy has made no secret she’s all for her platform of guns, pollution, and cutting taxes for the rich.  Trump wants to balloon the national budget by a trillion dollars (which experts say will happen) when he slashes taxes for the rich and has drastic new spending on the military.  The stock market is really nervous around Trump.  We learned that last week when stocks dropped on the latest news of Hillary’s E mails.  But the dangers of the Neo Cons is that they go way beyond classic conservatism, such as the libertarian party espouses.  It seems to me Judy is not at all adverse to the program for eliminating domestic programs espoused by Gary Johnson.  She just doesn’t want even a single potential vote being taken away from Trump.   Neo Cons are not constitutional origionalists.  They don’t believe in judicial restraint because they’re all for Citizen’s United, as Judy plainly told me five years ago.  Corporations were considered a privilege and not as right in those early days.  A privilege which could either be extended or withdrawn if said corporations did not meet a bunch of stringent guidelines.  The founding fathers did not pass the second amendment as a blank check for any gun nut who wants to go out wasting people.  The senate filibuster used to be a rare thing in congress.  There was a “tradition” against using it except in dire circumstances.  Now it’s envoked in almost every piece of legislation.  The founding fathers believed in terriffs.  Judy told me years ago she’s against terrifs because “it’s just another tax”.  Judy is not averse apparently to tax loopholes either like Trump not paying a billion dollars in past taxes.  There is a “tradition” of reveling your income taxes Trump is violating.  There is a tradition of the government paying its bills and not defaulting.  The republicans have no problem with these defaults.  There is a “tradition” of - - - free markets in trade in this sense.  If there are trade deficets of one nation or another than the currency values would adjust themselves to take care of the imbalance.  Now this “tradition” is shot to hell.  China manipulates currencies regularly.  There is a “tradition” of US Sovreignty as far as Court Systems here being sovereign.  The Trans Pacific Partnership would pre-empt our nation’s courts in favor of an international court tailor made for business interests, from which there is no appeal.  Even the idea of “fast tracking’ a bill is not “traditional”.  Computer espianage by China is not traditional.  It’s not “traditional” to idolize the Communist system.  Yet Michelle Bachman in 2012 admired the system they have in China because the workers have no rights to pensions and other things, and Bachman says we ought to adopt their system.  Using eminent domain for the benefit of corporate interests is not “traditional”.   Nothing Trump has done including attacking women the way he has could be considered a “traditional” campaign.  And changing the libel and slander laws as Trump wants to do goes against two hundred years of tradition and legal precedent.  The bottom line is that Trump is not a “traditional” American, and he will tank the economy if he gets in office.

Cliven Bundy got off charges; he was acquitted for taking over government property with guns aimed at government officials.  Meanwhile at Standing Rock they are being prosecuted to the hilt and those people are unarmed.   Judy doesn’t consider it averice when rich people want to bully and oppress the poor but she considers it an infringement of the rights of the rich if their taxes stay high so schools can be funded.  I’m come up with a new doctrine of Paul and Judy of the doctrine of absolution by merit of wealth.  Donald Trump’s sins are all set aside or otherwise ignored by Judy because he says the right buzz phrases sticking up for gun owners and heterosexual marriage and putting anti abortion people on the court.  It dawned on me when Justice Allito was being confirmed in 2005 that the price of getting court justices to overturn Roe vs Wade would be to enact a whole raft of rulings in areas such as civil liberties and corporate abuses - - which would lead toward a Police state, the way Bush was headed at the time.   If they overturned gay marriage laws it would cause a major crisis and chaos in this country.

Today Gary and Shannon did propositions 65 and 57.  I’m more confused after listening to their explanations now than before the program began.  Personally I don’t think we need a statewide blanked restrictions on all one use plastic bags. I think the individual shoppers and the “free market” should decide questions like this.  They said that the “True environmentalists” are against proposition 65 and don’t want stores being mandated to give to environmental groups because it’s some kind of a trick, a trap that will somehow weaken the plastic bag law.  Of course sometimes there are things in propositions I’m not privy to because I don’t have all the literature I should have.  For instance, proposition 57 allows violent criminals to be released.  I saw a list from “somewhere” of all the violent crimes this propositions gives thumbs up to for releasing early.  It’s said that soon there will be more plastic bags in the ocean than fish.  I’m not entirely insensitive to arguments like this.  But I balance it out.  I think there are ways people get a lot of use out of plastic bags that can’t be easily replaced.  It doesn’t take a genious to know that plastic bags are a lot easier to carry than are paper bags.

Then it was Days of our Lives.  Orphius tried to turn Kayla and Marlena alive in wooden crates using gasoline.  But Andre tipped off the authorities, notably Patch and John, because he has a lot of phone contacts even in the Kiriacus empire.  In terms of Hope, Andre cut a deal with her to plead guilty as the price of not prosecuting Roman and Raphael for their extensive role in the cover-up of this crime of murder.  I’d go with Justin’s advice.  I’d plead either PTSD or else “diminished capacity”.  It’s only second degree to begin with because Hope didn’t go there that night with any intent to shoot and kill Stephano.  It was more of a last minute impulsive “reflex”.  So I’d let her off with ten years in prison, and I guess time off with good behavior.

Rhapsody in Black didn’t have Halloween stuff this year; they had songs from October of 1957.   There were the usual expected hits such as “You Send Me”,  “Rock and Roll Music”, “Keep a Knocking But You Can’t Come In” and “Peanuts”.  They also featured “Buz, Buz, Buz” by the Hollywood Flames, a Detroit Romulan song.  They played “Swanee River Rock” by Ray Charles, and two unknown songs from the “Platters” and Fats Domino.  They also played a bizarre version of “Deep Purple” by Bill Ward and the Doninoes.  They played early cover songs such as “Further On - - Down the Road” which Eric Claptin later did, and “Honest I Do” later done by the Rolling Stones, and of course “Cillauette” later done by Herman’s Hermets.  They played “Down in the Alley” by the Clovers later done by Elvis.  They did “A Big Golden Idol” by the Coasters.  They played “Cool, Daddy, Cool” and other interesting but unknown songs.  There were numerous breaks for pledge drive, and they wrapped up seven minutes early.

Breakfast with the Beatles had a good show with their Halloween show.  They played “Snookeroo” both as the first song and as the last song of the day.  Then there was “Mr Hyde is Gone”, which is a John Lennon demo song.  Then it was “Scared”, which is a song I heard a few seconds of a few years ago and now I got to hear the entire song, from Walls and Bridges.  Then they finally got into Beatle songs.  They played “Devil in her Heart” and “Baby’s in Black” and “I’m Looking Through You” and then they played “Run, Devil, Run” by Mc Cartney.  They also played “Maxwell’s Silver Hammer” and “Run For Your Life”.  Then they played Helter Skelter and Savory Truffle, for the candy part of it.  Then they played “Ain’t that so like Candy” by Elvis Costello and Paul Mc Cartney.  Then they played “From Behind the Locked Door” from All Things Must pass.

FBI Resumes Hillary E Mail Probe

The big story of the day is Hillary’s E mails.  The FBI has decided to look into them again because some brand new ones turned up on the computer of the wife of Antony Weiner.  They were investigating Wiener’s sexting activities and showing photos of himself to a fifteen year old girl.  (I don’t know if this is a new incident)   FBI Director James Commee made the decision to resume the investigation of Hillary eleven days before the election.  Right away someone pointed out that the Dow Jones Industrials had been up a hundred points and promptly dropped 150 points on this news.  This means the stock market is uneasy with the prospect of a Trump presidency.   Kuma Abideen or whoever it is (Wiener’s wife) is a high ranking woman in the Hillary campaign organization.  Now Trump is proudly saying “We’re going to right this ship”.   Even before this bombshell hit Trump had been rising and Hillary had been decisively falling in the polls and this event may well make them dead even.  So much for the Hillary celebration of victory ahead of time.   Dire things will happen if the Democrats don’t take the Senate.  My previous blog post was almost prophetic in its warnings about over-confidence.

First, the context in which the issue of war against Russia has been raised- and if you can’t go along with this backdrop, then you won’t like the coming war.  Syria’s government is allied with Russia’s government, and ‘The West’ is trying to overthrow Syria’s government and is bringing into Syria, and arming, tens of thousands of jihadists there, as the footsoldiers to do it. Syria and Russia are bombing the people that we are bringing in.  The Presidential candidate of the U.S. Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton, is a longstanding and ardent proponent of the U.S. establishing a “no-fly zone” over at least the parts of Syria where non-ISIS jihadists — the jihadists that are financed and armed by the U.S. and its allies (mainly by the Sunni fundamentalist royal families who own Saudi Arabia and Qatar) — have conquered territory from Syria’s (legitimate and internationally recognized) government. It’s conquest of Syria, that the U.S. is backing. The U.S., in both law and fact, is already participating in an invasion of Syria.  Syria’s government is run by the ideologically committed anti-Sharia-law and non-sectarian Ba’ath Party, under President Bashar al-Assad, who happens to be nominally an Alawite Shiite (and fundamentalist Sunnis hate Shiites, and all of the jihadists are fundamentalist Sunnis, just as the royal Saudi and Qatari families are), and Assad has always crushed jihadists in Syria — until Barack Obama became the U.S. President.

it was Gary and Shannon doing Proposition 63, the firearms and ammunition initiative.  The many regulations make it seem like a pain in the ass but I guess we need regulations like this to save lives.  I’m voting for it even though Law Enforcement is against it, and I don’t know why.   You’d think cops would want to do everything they could such as get cleared to buy ammunition- to cut down on gun violence.  Then it was Days of our Lives.  Orphius was the mystery magitian at the hospital Halloween party.  Someone passed a note to John Black saying “This is to give to Marlena” and John read it and it said “Orphius is the body that was stolen from the morgue, and he is alive”.  John opens up the disappearing box and nobody is there.  Meanwhile across town- -Hope dressed as Cleopatra was to be honored for her police work.  But then Andre arranged for a tape to be played on a loop of Hope’s voice saying “I killed Stephano - - I killed Stephano”.   This is why Andre was so enthusiastic about throwing this party charity fund raiser.   The moral is never trust a snake.
We had our resident’s council meeting at two.  I came in a little late because I was wandering around outside looking for the snacks cart.  He didn’t come till later and he came inside also.  They were discussing needed repairs and I requested that someone unclog the sink, which has been getting steadily worse.  Under food services I mentioned the smaller portions they’ve been having the past month however said the last two days were the exception to that rule.  I also mentioned the continued lateness of the breakfast, with the exception of yesterday.  There were lots of requests for tacos and lasagna and tostatas.  Patty covered all of the other categories and several of us mentioned this strange guy who walks down the halls and goes into every room that’s unlocked.   At one point Patty had to excuse herself and go sign something for her sister waiting outside but then came back in because Josie didn’t feel competent to complete the meeting herself.

More evidence comes in that Republicans are dishonest liars.  Now Ted Cruz and other Republican senators are saying that they’re going to go four years of a Hillary presidency and not approve a single supreme court justice.  So they lied when they said “Let’s not make any decisions now but let the American people decide in November”.  And there is a maximum effort to remove Democratic voters from the rolls.  There are fifty thousand here and fifty thousand there.  Greg Palest has been on the full hour with Thom Hartman on this very subject.  Also in the news a woman complained in 1999 about being sexually groped by Justice Clarence Thomas.  Judy was saying how she’s going to vote for Trump “because the packaging isn’t very good but he has the substance”.   What happened to their distaste for interrupters like they accused Joe Biden of doing in 2012?  Now suddenly far worse interrupting in debates is fine.  One issue off the front page now is the fact that Trump said “I want to release my taxes but they’re being audited and I can’t do it”.   How long has this “auditing” been going on?  A year in a half, or ever since Donald Trump has been running for President.  Now there is another new trend because Asians used to vote Republican but now they have “turned Black” and eighty percent of Asians vote Democratic, so they are subject to caging, too.  They’ll contact you knowing full well you are serving in Iraq or some place.   For white people they have ‘mentally challenged” people scrape off the back of the ballots for hanging chad removal but for Black voters they just leave the hanging chads on.

One Grim Reality Everybody Is Trying To Ignore

Back in November of 1964 Barry Goldwater went down to a major defeat at the polls.  He lost to LBJ because he was adeptly portrayed as an extremist, particularly on Nuclear and War issues.  If this is the case then how come Donald Trump isn't losing by at LEAST as much as Goldwater lost by.  Goldwater lost to 61 percent for LBJ and 39 percent for himself and the democrats strengthened their stranglehold on the Senate and the House.  Yet is Goldwater were running today he'd be considered a conservative light weight if he was considered a conservative at all.  Goldwater didn't have three wives and wasn't known as a sexist, and he was much less an overt racial bigot than Donald Trump.  Goldwater never advocated so far as I know getting out of NATO or giving Nuclear weapons to Saudi Arabia.  It would seem when you look at the Trump campaign the wheels are coming off the wagons.  And yet in spite of all of this- - Trump is only trailing somewhere between five and twelve points- - not twenty two points as Barry Goldwater was.  The obvious fact everyone is missing is that it isn't just white straight males over forty who are voting for Trump.  He wouldn't be putting up the numbers he is without getting an awful lot of support from somewhere else.  Something is driving the Trump phenominon.  The grim fact is that racism, sexism, and bigotry, Islamaphobia, xenophobia and all the rest of it- -is one hell of a lot more popular than anyone in the media will admit.  People like the idea of bizzare tweets at three o clock in the morning.  People like candidates who are in no way qualified and seem "out of control".  Goldwater was a US Senator after all, and I believe he was always married to the same wife.  Goldwater wasn't brash but soft spoken and almost intellectual.  Clearly it's the US electorate that is sick- - and even now might give Trump the Presidency.  If there is even a 25 percent chance Trump will win- - - that figure is far too high.

There is a memo from the Trump campaign that openly states that they are looking for a way to suppress votes next month because it’s the only way they could win. This should come as no surprise to anyone. Former Justice William Renquist was known in the sixties as a rather intimidating taller man that would stand in the polling lines and harass voters with questions about whether they were qualified or not. Now I hear that whole propositions are leff off Florida ballots in democratic counties to affect the results, like on the Solar Panels one, where they want to outlaw selling your surplus solar generated power back to the power grid. I looked up Ring of Fire and got an RT program of fifteen minutes on why the rich should give back to society at the end of their lives. There is a biography of Mike Papantonio. Now Thom Hartman is talking about the rise of repressive measures under the Nazis. “They thought they were Free”. There is a Latin expression that goes “Consider the Ends” and “Resist the Beginnings”. I wonder if this applies to fundamentalist Christianity leading to a trigger happy and bigoted person like Donald Trump. Should one have “Considered the Ends” in the early seventies when Calvary Chapel Christianity first begun? Think about it. Because there has always been this strain of Egoism in the Christian faith that you told yourself you had to learn to ignore and “Not let it bother you” but you couldn’t do that. There is this egotistical sense of “being special” that at times can be suffocating.

This Candy lady from indiginousrising.org phoned in a report from Standing Rock reservation that is like a regular war scene with tanks and guns and helicopters and noise generators. There are bulldozers around and they are being forced to give up their demonstration so that people don’t get hurt. She needs our best wishes. President Obama personally has the power to stop all of this, but he won’t do it, any more than he intervenes in any other situation such as Labor Unions or Black Lives Matter. Does President Obama have the power by executive order to stop construction? If you dump a can of motor oil on the ground in your own back yard you’re trespassing on your neighbor because the ground water seeps into the system and impacts his drinking water.

Sheriff Joe Arpyo of Maricopa County is in legal troubles. He has some contempt of court thing to deal with it. Nicole Wallace and Steve Schmidt are portrayed in a movie called “Game Change” about Sarah Palin and her relation to the Mc Cain campaign. Nicole cried at the end of the movie and says she can’t bring herself to vote for Sarah Palin. Now Nicole Wallace and Steve Schmidt have both come out against Trump in this campaign. Newt Gingrich was interviewed by Megan Kelly last night and Gingrich attacked Megan for criticizing Trump claiming that she was obsessed with sex. The tea party right has a new defecter because Megan is leaving FOX and will move to host “The View” where some say she lacks the “motherly” attitude of Barbra Walters. I can only imagine what Shawn said about this event. Trump’s own internal private polling states equally strongly that Trump is going to lose. The polling isn’t rigged. I just hope Trump goes down in flames and utterly, for once and for all, discredits the whole tea party Republican movement. We’ve had enough of their bigotry, their sexism, and their general paranoia about everything. “Ya basta!” as they say.

After lunch Jeff said that his brother used to be on the governing board of Calvary Chapel. I never knew that. But he says that business is the ugly aspect of running a church and at times it can be brutal and Jeff’s brother didn’t like it. Now after Chuck’s death, his wife, Kay, is being cut out without a cent.  Portions of Jeff's story didn't pan out when I checked.  But it seems Calvary Chapel leadership conspired to take Chuck's intellectual property and go against Chuck's wishes.  Chuck's daughter led this lawsuit.  We also hear that Kay, his wife, suffers from dementia.  That's sad if it's true.  Of course Chuck’s son, Chuck Smith Jr. was cut out of the whole Calvary Chapel movement for reasons I still don't know. Chuck used to carry on and gloat about how he turned everything over to God and never had to worry about the mundane aspects of things but instead gloated over these churches that had money troubles and had to beg for money. Chuck Smith is a fucking hypocrite. That’s what he is! It all goes back to that saying “Knowing the end at the beginning” and Jesus’ own words saying “Ye shall know them by their fruits”.

I have been physically hungry. I’m still not happy with the skimpy breakfast. For lunch we did better. We had chicken fried steak with kind of a sauce thing. We were promised a baked potato but all we got was a very few potatoes. We had carrots with that and melting (?) red Jell-O for dessert. When Nora cleaned the bathroom the tried to shove one of Bill’s black combs down the drain and messed up the teeth. What was she trying to do? Today Gary and Shannon did propositions 62 and 66,, which both revolved around the death penalty. Proposition 62 wants to abolish it outright. If proposition 62 gets more votes than Proposition 66 then Proposition 66 won’t pass, even if it passes, and the same works visa versa, too. Even if a proposition passes it has to get more votes than the other one. Proposition 66 reforms the way the death penalty is administered.

Tom Hayden Endorses Hillary for President

Well now FreeSpeech.org is running marijuana cookbook commercials during the breaks in the Stephanie Miller show.  Remember you can easily OD on ingested marijuana and the effects of the herb often don’t start till a half hour after you have consumed the item.  Hosts are advised to watch guests for those consuming 2nd and 3rd s.   The next commercial was on Nixon’s war on drugs in 1970.  How many “millions of dollars” have we spent on the war on drugs?  Of course Ted Cruz will institute “Judeo-Christian” values which means if you masturbate you are summoning up the sex demon Bezuzu that will take over your soul if you’re a woman.  Of course normally Judeo-Christian values mean being a virgin on your wedding day and never getting a divorce.  So you may be stuck for up to seventy years with the wrong person.  But that doesn’t matter because according to Neil Savedra you can “will yourself” to love anybody.  It’s all a matter of “making a decision” in the supreme act of will worship- and never departing from it.  Of course one might say “But - - what if both you and your wife are a little mentally unbalanced and you’re married to someone like Summer on Days of our Lives.  And what if your parents aren’t so hot on supporting your marriage to begin with?   It’s like getting a job and you’re lazy to begin with and your parents aren’t helping with their negativity saying you’re no good.  Some people say to me “Oh- - you never use a purely abstract example.  Everything you say is auto biographical so it doesn’t count”.   Well I’ll tell you I understand the plight of the poor a lot better after living in this place.  The whole thing about “getting a job” is a steeper climb than it used to be now that you’re of retirement age.  But Ted Cruz wants us to LOVE God and the things of God with all our heart and soul.  How do you do that?  Not that emotion is supposed to play a part in this willed love.  Because when Christians talk about being “saved by Faith” they would seem to literally mean you are saved by exercising sufficient Faith that saves you.  You aren’t saved by the act of Jesus on the cross- - you are saved by your own belief THAT this event happened, rather than the event itself.  It’s no surprise then that you are supposed to will yourself to “have the right values” and all.  Do you think that’s an easy feat?  As a point of pragmatism it’s easier to will yourself to various acts than it is to will yourself to various beliefs and values.  How for instance can you will yourself to believed in a crooked used car salesman sufficient to override the fact that the guy is basically a crook.  An example just came to me today to illustrate the absurdity of salvation by Faith.  If you are blind- - - and you are drowning in the ocean and someone throws you a life line- - you are saved by the lifeline.  It helps of course if you can SEE the lifeline.  To heighten the absurdity- - it’s a violation of the rules for someone to call out “Hey there’s a life line a few feet away from you”.  Because in the real world God has in essence remained MUTE since the first century.  It’s no longer necessary for God to speak because after all we have “The Faith”, which is sufficient to save you.

Stephanie is on the line with John Fugelsang on a Thursday.  Today is April 14, 2016 and one month away from that girl’s quinsinyeara on TV.  Tomorrow is “Sun Dial parody day” when the sundial- - matches the true sun time- - if you’re on the 120 degree parrellel, which we aren’t.  It’s when the sundial on September first- - the mirror direction the other way- - is at parody with the sun dials of lengthening days.  Monday is the Boston Marithon.  Isn’t the Long Beach grand prix this weekend- or was that last week?  Saturday the sixteenth is the day that we have an eight hour electricity black-out around here.  Next Tuesday is the New York primary and many say that Bernie Sanders is going to suffer the defeat of his life then when all those New York state delegates go for Hillary making it a mathematically impossible climb for Bernie now.  And if it doesn’t happen next week it will happen the week after when all those other middle Atlantic states vote such as Pennsylvania and Maryland.   Given this impending doom for Bernie which is coming on April 26th or sooner- - is it any wonder that Tom Hayden, classic protestor of the 1960’s has jumped sides and now he says he’s for Hillary in a very poorly written treaties yesterday.  Of course each and every point is refuted in our own publication from the “other side” because Jim Morrison has come out strongly for Bernie Sanders and wrote a piece yesterday coming out of his Andromeda seclusion- - to call Tom Hayden a traitor to the cause.  Hayden says “Well I’ve always been a feminist so I could not possibly picture myself NOT voting for a woman if the opportunity arose.”  Hayden also explains away the race questions and explains away the fracking questions.  We all know that President Obama has been among the biggest supporters of natural gas fracking.  It’s all a part of his “all of the above” energy stance, which includes such things as “clean coal” which is an oxy-moronism.  Hayden reminds us that Hillary wants frackers to meet certain stringent guidelines.  Well, that’s what Hillary is saying now.  But a lot of us would feel a lot better with an outright ban on fracking.  Of course- - in a bit of a topic change - - Democrats want Donald Trump to win the Republican nomination because he’ll be a lot easier target to beat with all this sexist stuff that’s floating around and Hillary as the standard bearer.  Of course Bernie still does better against Kasech, Cruz and Trump than Hillary Clinton does.  I wish voters would remember that as they go to the polls in New York.

Paul Ryan will not seek and will not accept his party’s nomination for President.  He made that announcement today.  But now people are thinking they’ll try and bring back Marco Rubio for the position.  Rubio decided not to seek reelection for Florida senator.   According to Norman Goldman the Supreme Court declared Wisconsin’s “right to work for less” anti Union law to be unconstitutional.  I hope that’s true but we won’t hear it on the evening news.   "Labor Unions" in general is considered off limits by this corporate media.  They'd sooner slit their throat than give us a pro Union story.  Certainly one about a Supreme Court ruling favorable to Labor Unions.  We haven’t heard any more about those 28 pages missing from the 9 – 11 report, either.  This is an update.  60 Minutes last Sunday apparently had just such a report on those 28 pages, which involves 17 of the 19 9 - 11 hijackers being from Saudi Arabia.  17 is the figure Rush Limbaugh uses.  Rush, oddly, gives credence to this 60 Minutes report as though it were actually new and fresh material Americans should know about.  I'm a little surprised 60 Minutes in this day and age even aired this report given the media's constant assurance that there IS no such thing as a "9 - 11 conspiracy".  Now there is talk that it would take Americans to show these nineteen hijackers the ropes and find out how to successfully carry out their crime.

It’s funny how George Bush and Tony Blair lied up a blue streak in their joint press conference at the White House in January of 2003.  They kept talking about the first UN resolution being sufficient to go to war and how a second UN resolution is probably just a stalling tactic.   The Iranians first kicked the UN inspectors out of Iraq but then invited them back in and President Bush called that a “stalling tactic”.   Bush said that Bush still has time to “completely disarm” and either he will do that or we will come in and disarm him.  The problem with that is that we didn’t “limit” our War effort but went to completely take down the entire government dismantling it piece by piece leaving complete chaos.   President Bush kept talking about how “everything is connected”.  9 – 11 is connected to terrorism which is connected to weapons of mass destruction and Saddam Hussein is getting ready to use weapons of mass destruction on Americans.  Someone asked the President about plans to invade Iraq six days after 9 – 11 and Bush got vague and defensive in his answer.  The whole news conference was rather strange and almost plausible in some highly deluded sort of way.

Washington’s blog had “Ten War Propaganda lies” and it has stuff like- - well, both President Bushes made it seem as if war hadn’t been decided upon yet but we were “waiting for Saddam to do something” to prove he wasn’t aggressive.  There was talk in those days about the war option as a last resort and how it seemed almost plausible to go to war if, for example Saddam Hussein didn’t “disarm” and demonstrate he had no weapons of mass destruction.  Of course the UN observers weren’t even allowed to finish their job before we invaded.   It also disregards the fact that there was some Bush White House memo that stated that it was our plan to take out give Mideastern governments in five Mideastern nations over the next seven years or whatever.  As that ex marine said in a video last week “The key to Mideast peace is regene change, but not in any of those countries but here in the United States.  We even lied a little about World War II if we thought the war effort was in any way to “save the Jews from extermination”.  Because a lot of people had plans to transport the Jews to some neutral country- - such as Madascar or some place in Africa, or some place where they would be safe.  We have Obama at the present time who has become known as The Drone King.  Droning is the assassination weapon of choice because instead of just sending in a hit squad to take out a leader- - that’s now too dangerous and unnecessary- - we just done them to death even if it means the deaths of innocent civilians.  But also we have as much as said that American citizens living in foreign nations who haven’t even been charged or convicted of a crime are fair game.  We don’t imprison then at Guantanamo any more, we just take out these dangerous suspects with Drones.  Now Bernie Sanders wants to take a breath and pause to reflect before taking out the Assad government knowing what happened with the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria.  This to me is a glaring blotch in Hillary’s foreign policy record.  They say that under Qadafi that Libya had the second highest standard of living anywhere outside of South Africa.  That’s what one news source said.  There were reports of impending genocide in Libya.   But most people regard these charges of impending genocide by Qadafi as false charges now.  In fact Qadafi would forgive any foreign fighter against him if they would just throw down their weapons.   These are things we all need to think about.
