In a late news development it seems Muller has released a summary of the special prosecutor's report. But it's no less a disappointment apparently. There's supposed to be a TV special on it tonight and I'll watch it if I'm not doing something else, like rearranging my sock drawer.
This is March 24th 2019 and I've been a Born Again Christian for 43 years as of today but I wouldn't exactly count the last fourteen. It's also my roommate Bill's birthday. As you know the special prosecutor's report was supposedly released last Friday but we, the American People don't know what's in it and unlike Watergate we may never know. I've heard all of the leagelese to explain that. There are no indictments and when there aren't indictments they aren't supposed to show you the evidence they looked at to make a decision to reject indicting. There is a whole bucket load of excuses they use. They will say that it's national security or else they tell you that if congress is still investigating a matter then they can't "interfere" with that investigation. They will tell you like that Deuchebank thing that Muller never investigated that or other items to begin with. We were told we would get a summary of the report "this weekend" but the weekend has slipped away and we have nothing. The report came out at two o clock Friday afternoon so they could bury the story and let let the weekly talk shows talk about them on the radio. Chris Matthews talked about it. It seems if none of Trump's family was indicted and there are no "conspirators" then you can't have the ring leader of any conspiracy. But of course we also hear that you can't indict a sitting president. Nancy Pelosi won't impeach a sitting president because she maintains that the politics are against her. From what I have heard lately the majority of the people have turned against the president. So it would seem that there is no vast resavuar of supporters for President Trump in America's heartland. Of course President Trump continues to criticize John Mc Cain. It would seem as if he's hurting his political base by doing this. We have to assume that there is some large resavuar of people out there that agree that John Mc Cain should continue to be raked over the coals. You realize this investigation went on for 22 long months. All the while we were told "Oh this guy is being thorough and he'll leave no stone unturned and pursue every lead and that's why he's taking so long. People always said that Muller should either shit or get off the pot. Instead he sneaks out of the bathroom and someone walks in and the place smells fresh as a daisy with no indication anyone has even been in there. He has labored mightily and brought forth a mouse, if that. He is the collosal dud of all time. And as for Comey we know that nothing stopped him from raking Hillary Clinton over the coals in 2016. He was obviously biased against Hillary using any and every excuse to stick it to her. Now we are informed that today's prosecutors are more "fair" and "objective" and would never leap to any conclusions even if those conclusions were staring you in the face. I'm pretty disgusted and depressed by the whole thing. I was depressed when I first heard the events of the report on Friday afternoon. There were no fireworks of celebration. There was a big fat nothing.
On the program "God Friended Me" we are told it was about a guy who had a predisposition to Athiesm and how he was doing pod casts promoting atheism and how he was going to spread the news that God was a fraud and a liar. But now months later this guy is one of the biggest evangelists for Christian faith. He has outdone most of his Christian bretheren. So I would like to share you my experiance. Back in September of 1977 Chuck Smith had his two end of the world lectures before huge crowds and everyone around me was all excited to hear about "The end". It was kind of a turning point for me because I was apalled at all of the lust for vengeance and nuclear warfare. I began pulling away from other Christians. We now come to 1980 when I got over my fear of the end times long enough to write a Prophecy book. Of course it didn't sell. I was told by one Christian that "well it just isn't the way Chuck does it". I realized at this time that Christianity is a cult of personalities rather than facts. If we go by facts I made more correct predictions than Chuck ever did. But it isn't what you say that causes you to be justified in the eyes of your Christian bretheren. It's who you are in the Faith and what personal status you have. We move on to other key events among my then housemates in October of 1987. This tended to drive me further away from Christianity. At one point in late January of 1988 I felt that God "personally lied to me" but I won't go into that any further. We them come to the nineties when I was kicked out of my parent's church, the one I grew up in for the previous thirty years. Bill Halliday was the ring leader and pastor of this explution. We come to the turn of the milenium where I lost my faith that there was even a Heaven to look forward to. Maybe it was the medication I was on but I began thinking more clearly. We finally come to the Jesus Christ Show in the year 2004 and 5 and later. This show turned me off to the PERSON of Jesus Christ in a way I never had been before. I can only assume the "Holy host" has done this to hundreds of thousands of other Americans. So here we are. I"d like to do a pod cast on Athiesm. Of course I'm still a Deist but I'm just not a Thiest. I don't believe in a peronal God. I'm willing and ready to have a dialog on the subject. But I'd also like to of course give Atheists a chance to vent since they aren't allowed to vent any place else, even on Thom Hartman. Thom's view on Atheists is akin to my view on the gays. I defend their right to exists but I just don't want to hear them or be around them. They shouldn't be denied a job or an apartment to rent because of who they are. But like the gays Thom feels "unconfortable" around Atheists. Hargman describes atheists as "annoying" and "too religious" and "just as bad as the Christians in their evangelism". I don't know what planet he's on because this is the farthest thing from the truth. Atheists are like smokers. They can't go out in public but have to hide away with their practices in a corner or something. And that's my view of how things are.

Spring Comes to Southern California
Welcome to the sunshine of Southern California, which has returned the last three or four days. Now all of the golden poppies are covering the hillsides out in the desert and the traffic is all lines up to see them. People from Colorado come to see our poppies. The rain is gone and we only have one more storm coming our way in a couple of days. I haven't felt like posting a blog because my readership numbers are in the low single digits. It's like I'm not feeling the energy from you people so I'm not writing anything. We all know what's in the news and it's pretty bad. Trump vetoed that bill passed by both houses of Congress that overturned the "state of emergency" decree of our President. The bill cleared the US senate 59 to 41 or something with twelve Republican votes crossing over to vote for the bill. The US House passed a resolution to make the Muller report public when it comes out. However this measure was blocked in the US Senate. We keep hearing that Muller is going to release his report any week now, and the weeks keep on flying by. Then we have those two Mosque attacks in New Zealand. President Trump has refused to condemn White suprenicy, in fact he says that White suprenicy is not even a problem. Instead President Trump has taken to attacking John Me Cain who's been dead for six months or something. He takes exception to the fact that Mc Cain reported to the FBI that there was collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign.
Of course we have all of the democratic candidates coming out for President. I'm sticking with Bernie Sanders for now. It's time we had a Jewish president. That will be the next religious barrier to fall. As for Beto Ororke it seems he has narrowly raised more money than Sanders has. People are attacking Beto now as a recipient of White privilege. People also don't think he is specific enough on the issues. That congress lady from New York has finally entered the race. Joe Biden is thinking of entering the race but he still hasn't made up his mind and won't till April. Of course the first debate will be in June and I still don't know how they're going to accomodate all twenty democrats. When you see them facing off against each other you see their relative strengths. I may or may not add to this posting. People are more interested in Facebook and Twitter and Instigram now. The Rude Pundit still uses Blogspot..com and I guess I need to check him out this morning.
Joel Olsteen can talk about the Life of Christ but it's the way that the theologians have "framed" the life of Christ that is the problem. Clearly there are indications of division within the Church and some anti Rome bias even in the Bible. In an epistle of Peter which is obviously bogus, Peter speaks of "Those of us here in Babylon greet you". Babylon is of course Rome, where Peter was supposed to have taught. In Revelation there is talk of a city built on Seven Hills that is the abode of the Antichrist, obviously Rome. There is the injunction "Call no man on earth Father", which is what those in the Roman church called their Popes. There is the anti Marcion line from Peter again saying that "Some of Paul's letters are hard to understand but people twist those like they twist the rest of Scripture. The word "rest" means "remainder". Since the Marcion cannon didn't come out till the mid second century, this book was written AFTER that point. (Selah) The allusion is to Paul's condemnation of the Old Testament Law. There is even the line put in Jesus' mouth of "Do not think I have come to destroy the OT law but to fulfill it". This is all part of that "Prophecy" stuff we mentioned in other postings. People liked having Paul's letters in a cannon of scripture but they took exception to certain things Paul said that showed he might be influenced by Marcionism. My feeling is that some "Teacher" dominated Rome at some point in the first centure and that teacher was not Paul. However it could have been Jesus himself, if you buy the fact, like the Moslems do that Jesus escaped the crusifixion because his father was a Roman. "The Church" of Revelation consisted of a circle of seven churches in western Turkey. There is a fixation in the book of Revelation about the twelve tribes of Israel. The Jesus of the mid 2nd century wasn't Jewish enough and they had to "Jewish him up".

. I told Bill after nine that Paul would be picking
me up soon to buy shoes and we decided that Bill could ride with us. It was just a few minutes later at a quarter
after nine when Paul called up and asked if I wanted to get shoes. He said that he was out front right then. It
took Bill a few minutes to get ready. We
dropped Bill off at the 99 cent store on Lincoln. They have shut Stater Brothers down. That’s a little strange. We went across to Big Five Sporting. Paul was very intent on what sort of shoes I
should buy. I was thinking maybe of Hush
Puppies but Paul said they probably didn’t have them. We looked at all the various hiking boots
they had both high top and low top. I
started off with a low top. I ended up
trying on four different pairs. It would
have been more but they only had twelves and not 11 ½, I was worried the shoes might be loose. One pair I tried was a higher top. I asked to try on the first paid I had tried
but Paul gave me the second pair I tried.
The first pair I tried was more of a neutral gray and not a brown. It turns out that the paid I ended up getting
was only nineteen dollars and something.
We went over to get Bill. By now
it was after ten. I don’t know how long
Bill had been waiting but they didn’t have either the donuts or the tick crème
he wanted. After dropping me off they
went on to Katella and Magnolia and looked at that 99 cent store. My floor was cluttered with a lot of
stuff. Bill had given me cookies from
his canister. I’ve been coughing more
the last two days. Bill and Paul saw
butteries flying north from Mexico in the sky but I never saw them at all.

Nancy Pelosi Gives Thumbs Down on Impeachment
Joel Olsteen's message last Sunday could have been called "The perils of premature success". this is what took place with Barock Obama. When you are advanced beyond your bretheren before your time this is what can happen. I think Daylight Savings time is "premature" as you know. We finally got sunshine at seven thirty in the dining room for the first time this week. The media isn't "ready" for spring fashions yet. It's still the dead of winter in most of the country. Politically we are still in the "winter of our discontent". I think we need "seasoned" politicians such as Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. We need people who have been around the block a few times and can learn from the mistakes of others, and perhaps their own mistakes in the past.
There is a more detailed
story on Paul Manifort than we’ve heard so far.
In the early days of Manifort’s indictment, Trump would distance himself
from Manifort saying that he only worked on his campaign a few months so it
really didn’t matter if he got in trouble because Trump wasn’t that close to
him because he grew dissatisfied with Manifort’s tenure with the campaign. But now that Manifort has shown acts of
loyalty to Trump and is willing to cover up and lie for him and defend the
president, then Trump will recripicate and pardon Manifort even though he only
received a 47 month sentence for his crimes.
This week Manifort is up for more sentencing from a tougher judge. Last week the guidelines were 19 to 24 years
and he got less than four. This time
Manifort is up for ten years but from a tougher judge. In another aid, Bill Shine has been moved
from the administration to a “senior advisor” in the 20/20 presidential
campaign. Like the Beach Boy album. Trump’s “vision” is anything other than 20/20, Bill Shine got Trump’s attention because he
was willing to cover up the crimes of Roger Ailes at FOX news. For this President even a dirty deed
indirectly for the conservative cause merits a reward from this President. In terms of Trump’s 46 percent rating last
week, this is a rigged poll because Trump has never been higher than the low
forties and most often in the thirties.
At last we have some polling
news on Bernie Sanders. He is now
polling second to Joe Biden, who hasn’t even gotten in the race. Old Joe just waits forever to make a decision
and he still hasn’t made a decision for sure.
My view is at this point Biden should stay out of the 2020 race and just
work for a younger man. Biden is eight years
older than I am and not ten. They are
exagurating his age. Joe is a moderate
of course. Sanders fought a “moderate”
last time and the last thing Sanders needs now is another phantom who can’t win
taking votes away from him. It seems
Sanders is raising more millions than he did last time and many of these donors
are new donors. Sanders has only been a
candidate for a week or two but already he has caught fire and has
momentum. I think we Sanders people need
to “rally round the flag” figuratively speaking and let Sanders know that he’s
the one we have confidence in. Elizabeth
Warren’s campaign seems to have fizzled a bit.
She lost her list of supporters or something. I have always thought of Elizabeth as a
back-up candidate anyhow, in case something happens to Sanders
Nancy Pelosi has come out
against impeaching President Trump;. She
says “He isn’t worth it” and I don’t know what she means by that. In terms of “being divisive” we’ve heard that
old song and dance before. The best
thing we can do to get rid of divisiveness is to get rid of our esteemed
leader, who is the cause of so much of it.
The Republicans are already saying that we’re going to impeach the
president so we might as well go ahead and do it. At least the battle lines are drawn. As we explained in a previous posting, we have
to have impeachment to insure that the president is out of office for when he
is indicted because people believe we can’t indict a sitting president. Nancy is looking for “some really big event”
to happen other than the “really big” events that have happened already, Does a house have to fall on her or
what? It’s obvious to anybody the vast
number of offences the president has committed.
Read our previous stuff.
President Trump has announced the 2020 federal budget and it’s familiar
news. We are increasing funding for the
border wall to over eight billion. We
pay the price for it because education, the environmental protection agency and
Medicare are all being cut so we can pay for the wall. The deficit has gone from nineteen to 22
Trillion under President Trump so far.
If President Obama almost doubled the deficit, then President Reagan
almost tripled the deficit and nobody seemed to care about that one bit. It’s the Jude Wanisky two Santa Clause
theory. President Obama had a high
deficit because he HAD to. Trump WANTS
to have a high deficit. He said he was
going to wipe out the national debt in eight years. That isn’t going to happen.
We all know from yesterday’s
episode of Days of our Lives that betrayal is a dirty rotten thing. But does it make any difference why the
betrayal took place. From a
psychological point of view it does. One
Jesus movie had Judas being isolated and pressured by the Roman officials to
betray Jesus implying that it would happen sooner or later and he was already
in trouble. This indicates weakness but
is not as dastardly as other forms of betrayal.
Judas could have betrayed Jesus to test him, to see if he were really
the Messiah and to get him to use his powers to deliver himself. The problem here is Judas would not have committed
suicide by hanging himself unless he had waited the three days to see if Jesus
had resurrected from the grave like he was telling everybody he would. According to some movies even the Jewish
authorities were half looking for a resurrection. Judas wouldn’t have offed himself before that
had a chance to happen. Then there is my
belief that Judas betrayed Jesus over doctrine and not money. Judas wanted to end this shadow “kingdom of
heaven” stuff that was threatening the Roman and Jewish establishments and particularly
threatening the Jewish priestly system of religion. This is what Judas wanted to preserve and he
would have done it for nothing and not paid any money. This isn’t how he ticked. He saw an enemy and sought to neutralize this
“enemy”. People who betray are looking for glory in
one form or another. Jack Deveroux, Eve
Donavin and Claire Brady were all looking for some sort of glory and you have
to be alive for that. Judas wasn’t after
money or he wouldn’t have joined the ministry of a poor man and stayed with him
for three years hearing endless messages on mercy and generosity. I think Jesus played the “daddy’ card with
Pilate. The authorities suspected Jesus
was born of fornication, perhaps with a Roman centurian named Pantera. Jesus never said anything bad about the
Romans his whole ministry. I think Jesus
wanted to visit the land of his father, in this case- - Rome. And if Judas ended up dead, it’s my firm
belief that it was not at his own hand.
(type Sunday) Every time I think of writing something on
Christianity something stops me. I’ve
been holding off on ideas I’ve had for the past week. That “God Friended Me” show features the lead
character becoming more and more religious and devout and thinking like just
another Christian. When you think about
it, the gospels need some sort of “introduction” to properly “frame” the Jesus
Story. Mark is the only gospel that
lacks one. Otherwise you have just this
guy that hung around he Lake of Galilee and teaching and making disciples and
pulling off a bunch of miracles. You
need that identity of being a “Son of David” and born in Bethlehem and of the
tribe of Judah as foretold in scripture.
Of course you need King Hered to slaughter off all of Jesus’ potential
competition to hold the position of Messiah.
In scripture therefore “Messiah” is more than a title than as someone
who actually delivers Israel from their oppression. Since Jesus never delivered Israel from
oppression, the Jews never accepted him.
