USA - Home of Repressed and Repressor Alike

They say June 19th is when the slaves in Texas found out they had been freed in 1965.  It’s been noted the extent to which South Carolina, the birthplace of the Confederacy, still reveres the Confederate flag.  They say they fly it just over the war memorial there.  But they refused to lower this Confederate flag to half staff after the events of Wednesday night.  It’s almost as if they are saying “Secretly we’re still not mourning those nine deaths”.   During the Ronald Reagan administration, people in the White House used to refer to Martin Luther King as “Martin Lucifer Koon”.  How sick is that???  Thom Hartman reminds us that the second amendment grew out of this “slave patrol” business they first established fifty years after the founding of Jamestown or whatever.  In fact unrestricted access to firearms is more of a constitutional right than is voting.  You know in Texas you can use your gun registration for viting identification, but not your student ID.  But it goes beyond that.  In Bush verses Gore in 2000 it was declared that “There is no inherent right to vote in the constitution” and Thom Hartman agreed with this assertion.    To me this is a completely shocking revelation that there is ANY justification for not counting all of the votes.   Adam Landsa was giving guns by his mother and this Dylan Roof guy was giving a gun on his 21st birthday by his father.  Apparently is your son has personality problems, the thing to do to “bring him out of his shell” is to give him a firearm to play around with.    Nobody at FOX news connects the dots to see the connection between guns and racism.  And by the way is Dylan Roof was “mentally ill” then half the Republican Presidential Candidates in the clown car are mentally ill.  Who can argue with that?   Lindsey Graham says this church shooting was “because there is a war on Christians in this country.”

Tom Hartman has this silly belief, if I hear him right, that “getting too caught up in some other candidate for President other than Hillary is dangerous because any belief which would tend to cause us to love Hillary less is poison for the democratic party because in the end the democratic party will be “weakened”.  This is silly since we are still seventeen months away from the Presidential election.  These people like Thom are so afraid we’ll “fall in love with a progressive” and somehow will be unable to wean outselves off of the sugar”  (my quotations) and be addicted to progressivism and have no appetite for Hillary come November 2016 and our failure to vote for Hillary Clinton will result in a Republican victory.  But of course there has to be at least ten issues in actual voting where Senator Bernie Sanders voted progressive and Hillary didn’t.   Sanders wants amnesty for Edward Snowden, for instance.    Sanders is pro marijuana legalization and Hillary is against it.  Hillary voted for the Iraq War and Sanders voted against it, and you can go on for vote after vote, issue by issue.   You will note that Thom is not saying ‘Give Hillary a chance to get her message across’ because we all KNOW what Hillary’s messages is already - - perfectly well.  Thom’s message is the message of a scared stiff fearful person who knows they have nothing, and knows it.

Rachael Dolizar-  - may have a reason for identifying herself as Black.  They say that she grew up with abusive parents and was estranged from them.  She just wasn’t another privileged, pampered white white girl who did something on a lark.  I myself in my teenage years have used the term of niggerization to describe that era of family life.  That’s how I personally felt.  One must therefore keep in mind the whole “body of work” of this woman before you condemn her too quickly.   Cut her some slack.

The Orion Federation last Monday issued an encyclical declaring it’s change in policy twords Russia.  The “finding of fact” now is that neo Nazis and the US government precipitated that governmental coup in Ukraine in February 2014.   There is in fact ample documentation of specific people- - terrorist orgainzers in this neo Nazi kabal that is behind the “Westernized” Ukrainian government now.  This is not any “false Russian narrative” because sources will show you more on the spot documentation than you care to see if you want to press the point.  Mal Evans said to me that he’ll accept the ruling.  He says “I really can’t argue with any of the findings”.    Of course unlike back in 1990 and 1991 and the first two months of 1992, Mal Evans has not been muzzled or “deep sixed” and has been free and often invited to express himself in this new communication leadership of the Federation now, which has been in power since March 6th.   Mal Evans met with Jim Morrison a few days ago who took opposing sides in this “trans racial” debate.  Mal Evans said it was a travesty against Black people that this woman would decide she was one race over another.  Jim Morrison was totally “down with it” and thought it was cool that White people would want to embrace the Black cultural experience.  Also in this same encyclical were references to the 1953 coup in Iran where the leadership was seen as dangerous because of recent changes.  Rich people would be taxed more and government beaurocracy was cut back and allocations for the Royal Family were cut back, and poor sharecroppers got 15% more crop allocations.  Somehow our CIA thought this was dangerous.  But the Federation says that this whole United States campaign of repression is part of the same overall strand of thread which spawned the coup in Ukraine sixteen months ago.   Also addressed with this whole so called BRICS menace.  The Trans Pacific partnership has nothing to do with somehow “standing up to China - - or Russia, or any of the BRICS”.   But there is this fake “western nationalism” for lack of a better word, which is appealed to by the Obama administration.   We should not allow ourselves to be swayed by such propaganda.

Most people when they think of "Materiality" in matter or whatever think in terms of that which you can see and touch and smell.  But when we speak of "Materiality" we speak of that aspect of matter that is related to gravity, a gravitational field, and the quality of "taking up space".   Einstein taught that this aspect of matter of that which is gravitational and spacial field related is ALL that matter and space are.  This is not so.  But these days it's what a scientist sees when he assesses matter.  The scientist sees matter in terms of quarks and leptons and also knowing that the atomic "binding force" actually comprises nine tenths of the weight of the matter and the quarks comprise only ten percent.  In other words, that which we regard as "solid" comprise only ten percent of the weight of matter.  The problem with Einstein's thinking on special relativity is that - - we ourselves never measure "matter" changing ourselves apart from the way the LIGHT from that matter is affected.   Light for us then is an IO or input-output system for us like a port of access entry on a computer.  Hence it's LIGHT which is the faulty or "imperfect' medium here, which does not give us a true picture of what matter IS because if it showed us what matter was we could get "up close and personal" to measure the supposed changes, and we can't do that.  We'll never do that.  However - - pulling the camera lens back a little now for a more general look - - - What most people regard as "Material" we regard as the "common perception of matter", which involves taste, smell, touch, sight, sound- - of matter.  Our senses are subjected, but they are also in most cases out chief means of varifying what is real and what is not.  In terms of the other two aspects of matter- - - there is FORM, which tells us 'How" matter came to be, and FUNCTION, which tells us Why matter came to be.  Both this HOW and WHY take a theocentric approach to the whole topic of how matter came to be, so my apologies to all of the hard core atheists out there.  But these four aspects of Matter are the ones I believe qualify as dimensions.

Nine Shot Dead in Black Church in South Carolina

A 21-year-old white man suspected of killing nine people at a historic African-American church in Charleston, South Carolina was arrested on Thursday after an attack that the United States is investigating as a hate crime. Law enforcement officials arrested alleged gunman Dylann Roof after a traffic stop in Shelby, North Carolina, about 220 miles (350 km) north of Charleston, said police chief Gregory Mullen. "This individual committed a tragic, heinous crime last night," Mullen told reporters. Apparently the killer participated in a Bible Study on Wednesday night an hour before he open fired.  He had "sandy blonde hair".  One quotation of the man is "I did it because those kind of people only rape our women and take over our country".  The victims were the pastor and two other men and six women.  The mass shooting on Wednesday followed months of racially charged protests over killings of black men which have shaken the United States. U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch said her office was investigating whether to charge Roof with a hate crime motivated by racial or other prejudice. Such crimes typically carry harsher penalties.  I've heard that FOX news is frantically searching for ANY other cause for the shootings other than racial bigotry.  Rotsa ruck!  "The fact that this took place in a black church obviously raises questions about a dark part of our history," U.S. President Barack Obama told reporters. "We don't have all the facts but we know that, once again, innocent people were killed in part because someone who wanted to inflict harm had no trouble getting their hands on a gun."   But all FOX news can say is "Well if everyone at that prayer meeting had had a gun then they could have defended themselves".   But pragmatically it's another reason why we should make sure the wrong people don't get guns.  The Southern Poverty Law Center, which researches U.S. hate groups, said the attack illustrates the dangers that home-grown extremists pose. "Since 9/11, our country has been fixated on the threat of Jihadi terrorism. But the horrific tragedy at the Emanuel AME reminds us that the threat of homegrown domestic terrorism is very real," the group said in a statement, referring to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States.  This church is one of the oldest African Methodist Episcopal churches in the South and has been around since 1820.  One time the church was burned to the ground because in those times the church was used as a haven for runaway slaves.  For a while South Carolina had laws which stated that Blacks couldn't meet together to form a church.

The US Supreme Court has ruled that in Texas the obtainers of state license places don’t have a “free speech right” to a confederate flag on their license plate. We have discussed this one before. It’s because the license plate is state property and therefore not to be dealt with on the same basis as a bumper sticker. It’s like Windows offering you a limited choice of colors and you have to pick one. You don’t have the right to tell Apple Corp for instance that you have a “right” to a customized phone for the same price different from any other phone. So in this case it’s the state of Texas which is on the side of sanity in not offering Confederate Flags.

Pope Francis has his Global Warming encyclicle today. Of course this is a positive step for the Catholic Church to have their feet plainly planted in the 21st rather than the 19th century in terms of energy production and such. Pope Francis has a degree in chemistry and knows a thing or two about the dangers of global warming, which contrary to what the other side says, is getting worse all of the time. The Pope I imagine considers it part of his holy commission to do teaching on ALL of scripture and among these Bible verses is God’s admonition to Mankind to be good stewards of the earth. So good for Pope Francis for making the right decision here.

The House of Representatives this morning voted 218 to 208 to pass “fast track” on the Trans Pacific Partnership. 28 democrats broke ranks and voted for the bill. Fifty republicans broke ranks and voted thumbs down on this fast track authority bill. Now the bill goes to the Senate to see if the Senate will accept this bill without the job assistance provisions included. It seems ironic to me that in one breath they can say “This bill won’t harm jobs’ and in the other want to pass a bill saying we’ll take x billion out of Medicare to help train people who have lost their jobs. Thirteen democratic senators voted for the fast track authority last time around, with the job assistance provision. Thom Hartman has a theory that the Senate will act on this passed House bill quickly- - particularly today or tomorrow since it’s such a busy news cycle now. Some theorized the Senate would vote just before the Fourth of July weekend.

Sometimes a whole new fad or trend will burst upon society and sociologists would would say "This creates a whole new Dynamic of society.  Hence a "Dynamic" could be said to be "Anything which can be measured in its own right".  For instance if you are a business selling some product, you could say gross revenue from Sales is a dynamic.  Customer satisfaction is a dynamic.  Worker efficiency is a dynamic.  Even the temperature of the plant or shop or factory is a dynamic.  A dynamic in other words is anything, any database criteria, which can be used to sort the database on.   I have grouped each and every possible Dynamic is sort of a generic "dimension" of the dynamic.  Light and sound are dynamics.  Another word for dynamic itself could be "dimension" because in databases it opens up new vistas of Tables which could be created by your program.  We in the past have said dynamic can also be "amplitude".   But we needn't confine ourselves to thinking of alternating sine waves when it comes to "amplitude".   Amplitude can also be Direct Current in nature.  Indeed a loud speaker works with rectified DC current.  Our own nervous system works on a DC rather than AC, though admittedly electro encephlographs deal in AC representation.  As you may remember the term for Amps - - in electricity studies is I for "inductance".  Thus it might even be inferred that stimulants increase induction and depressants decrease induction.  Remember when we had that "Gemstone" symbol with the twelve dots?   Two new dimensions have been added since we did that a few years back.  One is dynamic.  The other is feng chue energy "strings".  There are two ways of looking at what you'd either call astrological configurations or feng chue energy strings.  If you are into longitudinal analysis- - you would say that "everything is pre ordained.  The future cannot be changed" or "The result is already baked into the cake".  If you are a latitudenal purist however- - you would say that these "energy strings" when they are transversed or "plucked" then CHANGE the picture and alter what Would Have Been to something that's different now.  This is why I mentioned the notion of "a whole new dynamic".  There are a lot of new "Dynamics" today that I wasn't writing about eight years ago in 2007.  My conscious was not Aware of- - things that did not yet Exist.  We need to beware then because even a relatively short time into the Future such as in 2020 the "Dynamic" of that time may be very different from right now.

A Closer Look At Donald Trump

Note: Font problems can't be fixed. Believe me I've tried.
I watched Donald Trump’s speech, which was more lengthly and detailed than other candidates, but it had a hell of a lot more substance than theirs.  Trump made a lot of good points against his rivals from perfuse sweating due to no AC, to being for common core education, which he says doesn’t work.  Too many people are influenced by lobbyists, which is a good point.  I bagged a few photographs.  Trump said he was worth eight billion dollars but the official tally said he was only worth about half that or a little more than four billion.  In fact trump is the 405th richest man in the world.  Financially there is no way he can compete with either the Koch Brothers or Sheldon Adelson if they put their mind to it.  In terms of Buckley verses Vellejo I think there is a moral distinction between “being your own man” with your own wealth- - and being a pawn or tool of someone elses’ wealth.   So personally I’d call Buckley verses Vellejo a moral gray area.  Because what if you’re running against a bunch of crooks sponsored by donors whom you can’t compete with?   They say a Presidential campaign could cost five billion in itself and if one source is true- - Trump hasn’t got that kind of money.  I liked what Trump said about “making deals” and when to just walk away.   And Trump did redeem himself saying he was against the Trans Pacific Partnership.   I also like the idea that Trump wants to make sure that Social Security is properly funded.  That’s a hell of a lot better than Paul Ryan’s stance.  After this I had Thom Hartman on, who made a lot of good points.

They have a strange rule in various Latin American countries called the law of “Blanquisimo”.   That is- - your racial identity is for sale if you have enough money.  People of renound who have achieved something in terms of fame and fortune- - can as it were be “emancipated” from their DNA race with the proper papers.  Then you are allowed to marry white women and a lot of other perks.  Our own OSHA has just declared that you have the “right” to use the public restroom of the gender you identify with.  Republicans must have had a cow over this executive order.  So Mike Huckibee was right.  If you “feel” feminine today, you may use the facilities of the gender you now identify with.  In terms of Norman Goldman’s question- - I think certain identifies you are stuck with, if for no other reason that it's fate or “God” if you will, declares you ARE something- - some identity you’d like to shed but cant- - I think you’re pretty much stuck with it.  Sex unlike race is something you can’t escape because sex is a specific DNA trait of having the x or the y chromosome.  Even if lesbians could reproduce using all female DNA you’d get the strangest side effect of entirely breeding OUT the y chromosome in time.  That way even if after a couple of generations you missed having men around- now there wouldn’t be any.

We know that DDT made the shells of various hatching bird eggs thinner so that various bird species like the Eagle or the brown pelican were threatened.  Now they are saying that various neo nicotinoids (  ) are what is response for the mass extinction of bee hives.  We’ve had kind of a bee invasion here lately.  We know there are a lot more shark sightings and attacks both on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts.  It’s not that uncommon now to take these drone things they now use to scope out sharks and see a pod of six of them just off shore.  We can speculate about the cause.  Now there is something called epi-gene therapy meaning “over the gene” or “eclipsing the gene” to be more specific.  That way certain triggers in the gene can be turned ON or OFF depending on what you eat.  We know that people get shingles because the body comes under stress.  I believe I can pinpoint the exact stress point in my life that triggered my shingles.  I believe it’s when Ken had his heart attack.  We know that pine beetles are caused by the weakened health of pine trees that are now under stress due to drought or what have you.

How many of you readers get tired of politics every day?  I have written on other topics, though sometimes it seems like all politics.  There is for instance my personal life.  There are things like purely questions of ethics and morality.   I think we would agree for instance that torture is one of the worst sins before God.  And torture has been defined as of late as any sort of “experimentation” on captive subjects that is involuntary in nature.  We’ve talked about math and geometry and metaphysical research.   For instance- - “strings” in string theory have “holes” in them, like a run in your stocking.  Each “hole” represents another physical dimension and you would not be limited to three but four, five or six such “holes”.   Living in such a world would make math and physics a whole lot more complicated than it already is.  I think studying plays on words is fun, and the meanings of words, and the “nuggets” of wisdom I pass on from time to time.  There is wisdom in poetry and I used to do more of that three decades ago.  There is of course all the stuff with the Orion Federation and communication from the “other side”.   Dimensions need not be strictly spacial.  We have probed that topic.  I’ve touched on as many as seventeen possible “dimensions” if you include three karmic dimensions and three levels of psychic knowledge.   You think I forget things but I remember what we said about how the Orion Federation recognized twelve dimensions.  But that means only straight line or linear Time as we know it and not lateral time.  But then I threw in a “God” dimension saying that God had to “observe us” as “the twelfth man” in a football game, the fans.   Of course then there all of the photographs I post which I endeavor to make them as different and varied as possible.

This is Wednesday June 17, 2015.   Last night Glen was in a grumpy mood so I didn’t get any coffee from him but what I really wanted was a Coke so I went to the liquor store and bought a single can of Coke for 75 cents.    I turned on the Warriers and Cavileers game on a little after six.  The Cavileers have won the NBA series in six games in Cleveland.  Actually I stopped watching about eight when the Warriors were ahead again in excess of ten points after one time only being a couple points ahead.  Since I was routing for the Cavileers I saw no point in watching the game to the end.  I took inventory of the laundry and made out a list on a fresh slip of paper.  I watched NCIS and a dash of NCIS New Orleans.  I slept much better last night and woke at six, or a tad later than I’ve been waking.  I had Stephanie Miller on before and after breakfast.  I got a dollar and a quarter large coffee at the store.  (You knew I had plans for that quarter)  I was behind Janet but the guy had to brew a whole new pot.  We had oatmeal and I smelled cinnamon in the air.  We had fried eggs and toast and butter and jelly.  There hasn’t been any particular news today.  In the morning we were limited to one cup of punch in the courtyard.  I’ve never attended their Wednesday morning Catholic service.  We had tomato soup for lunch followed by a tuna melt sandwich and potato chips.  We had honeydew for dessert.  I had Sean Hannity on for maybe ten minutes when housekeeping wanted to change the linens.  I went outside and hung out at length with the crowd going to Wall Mart.   When I returned I re-closed the shade things and also opened the window back up.  Will Horton really seems to be wanting to sabotage their marriage because he’s making some “book deal” with the therapist, even though it’s unethical to see the therapist apart from Sonny.  Also this guy has been accused of being shallow and not really probing the motives and intents of the couples he sees (even the gay ones).   Will was as upbeat as Sonny was downcast after their first appointment.   Will is like his mother, being secretive and going behind people’s backs.  Meanwhile Eric and Nicole are trapped in the basement “labyrinth” of the television studio trapped like rats and Zander locked the fire Exit.  And this time Zander is packing heat.  And Serena is so flustered she’s about to have a cow.  Abigail still seems to be in love with Chad after he pretty much humiliated her, telling her off the other day.   Just about two I began putting away the clothes.  Everything was there.    I saw Dr Messina today.  It seemed hard for Federico to round up customers.  There was no line and I walked right in.  To my surprise Dr Messina was actually listening to what I said.  I said I was tired and lethargic and lacking in mental creative energy.  I also said maybe it’s because I’ve had less coffee, but mentioned things were better four or so years ago.   Dr Messina raised my Celexa prescription saying “We might as well get some mileage out of that drug”.   I handed the prescription straight to Federico through the office window.  Then I went to the store and bought a pack of John Blacks.  Then I went and had two cups of iced tea from Dora in the courtyard.  Right now it’s five after three and I haven’t seen Bill in some time.

A Whole Brainwashed Generation

A lot of us were brainwashed even about US History. For instance it's said that in the 1700's many White people chose to abandon their society and go off and live with the Native Americans "because it was a more peaceful and pleasent society". Do you think you know the causes of the Great Depression? The Smoot Hawley teriff of 1930 did not cause the Great Depression, we are informed. It’s what I read in High School history but the tariff was only another percentage or two on top of the perveiling thirty percent rate. International trade dropped because the depression hit all around the world. So much of the rampant anti tariff bias is based on this notion about how the 1930 teriff caused the Great Depression. Scott Walker is taking money from education so the Milwaukee Bucks can have a new stadium paid for with taxpayer dollars. In Kansas, home of the Koch Brothers it’s worse. Education is being gutted so bad that their Supreme Court has ruled the neglect of the educational system as unconstitutional. Therefore Governor Brownback wants to just abolish the Kansas Supreme Court. Somehow that doesn’t sound legal, either. Governor Brownback has reduced corporate and “pass through” unearned income to zero percent. But he’s trying to make up for that by hiking food and sales taxes or ordinary people, and also cigarette taxes. So what he’s doing is what Reagan did in 1986 shifting taxes from the rich to the middle class and poor. Donald Trump has reversed his position and now come out as a “Free Trader”. Needless to say somebody “got to him”. Donald Trump used to be against the Trans Pacific Partnership.

The idea has been put forth that President Obama is just stupid and uninformed in his support of the Trans Pacific Partnership. This is a highly naive belief that Thom Hartman has, who would portray his TPP support as an “innocent mistake”. This is nonsense because this thing has been in secret negotiation for years. The President has dug in his heels and shown dogged determination to get the TPP passed. The President has been very proactive in criticizing anyone who expresses hostility to the trans Pacific partnership. He has pushed harder for this one agreement, and the TTIP too - - like his life depended on it. I have a news flash for you. This President is NOT stupid. The latest news is they are not going to have a re-vote today but now fixed it so that they are to hold a vote in the House anytime between now and July the 30th. They are putting this “provisional vote” thing as a part of some Intelligence bill. According to Robert Reish (who was a Clinton economist) - - two people, Froman and Reuben - - were instrumental in brainwashing President Obama into supporting the Trans Pacific Partnership.

The Chicago Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup last night in Chicago defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning two to nothing. I was headed tword Glen’s room to get my coffee (which I got) and I noticed the crowd cheering on the big screen and they were about to score and Chicago just scored their second goal when I returned here. At about eight fifteen I turned it to KCOP for a confusing Law and Order where I obviously missed key scenes. All I know is that one Black guy was the product between his mother and grandfather, and someone else was feeding information to the defense, and the guy got off not guilty for rape and murder.

This whole “trans racial” thing is strange. At first I wondered what the big deal was if a woman claimed to be Black or not because the NAACP isn’t racist are they? They don’t hire an employee based on race, do they? No, they don’t. But there is an argument advanced by “real blacks” the way there are “real women” (a good way to put it) that “real women” have had to face all the discrimination in hiring and fear of rape and pregnancy and being talked down to by doctors and all of that. Jenner had the luxury of missing all that. In like manner it’s argued that unless you grew up Black you don’t know what it’s like to be Black. But here the argument is weaker. Because she has adopted Black siblings and she’s married to a Black man and had genetically Black children.

Shawn Hannity talked about Jeb Bush but featured none of his speech live. But I replayed the live speech along with a couple guest speakers – before three. Bush gave a good speech hitting all of the political highlights the far right likes being hit. There was no shortage of “red meat” in this speech. Jeb Bush speaks fluent Spanish and there seems to be the feeling that Bush has the Latino vote sewn up. Norman Goldman did not mention the speech. I watched a nine minute video of Mike Papentonio criticizing Hillary Clinton and those “centrists” who support her, thinking they have no other choice. I believe it’s also fooling yourself to think that her rhetoric means anything at this point. We know from Obama there is a difference between applause lines, and true, heart felt conviction. There was a David Packman thing on religion and “trustworthiness”.

President Obama Wants To Start World War III with Putin

President Obama is provoking a World War III with the Russians.  President Obama has been agitating for a conflict almost single handedly hoping to lead the rest of NATO into war.  Some have said that basically NATO is the military arm of the United States in Europe.  Of course we hear it’s also the military arm of the ‘New World Order’ with its Fascist roots.  Obama was pretty much bragging on how much our economic sanctions have hurt Putin and the Russian economy.  Now the G7 nations (they were the G8 before the group kicked Russia out so they don’t even have a seat at the table) are not only lifting but will be putting on new sanctions against Russia.  Europe at times doesn’t like the US taking a provocative stance on something which it’s THEY and not We who’ll have to pay for it.  We are sending heavy arms into Eastern Europe for the first time since World War II.  For the longest period this was not the case.  We kept our weapons in “safe” places such as Germany and France.  But no more.  Putin is not the sort of guy who would back down in the face of an economic sanction and not “allow the US and NATO to win”, and we really should know him better than that.  If I might revive an old Rush Limbaugh saying, “Don’t poke the bear”.  This is just stupid.  Clearly we don’t want a major war and particularly a war with a major Nuclear power, with a leader who has stated that he’s not afraid to use them.  Putin is not going to make the first move in terms of advancing into NATO territory such as the Baltic States.  But I think we know that when Putin does decide to move ‘It will be too late then to back down’.   These sanctions have a solid majority support of the American public, and smaller numbers of Britishers are for it, and by the time you come to Germany it’s 38% for the sanctions.   Clearly Putin is a cult figure to the Russian people who tells lies.  But that doesn’t make him any less dangerous just because the things he says aren’t true.  It just means that Putin and the Russian people are mutually insilated from Reality by telling each other lies constantly.   Russia is a dictatorship and every bit as dangerous, if not more so, than before Communism fell.  It would seem that Joseph Stalin is being “rehabilitated” after sixty years for the Russian people.  Putin is even touting the “glories of suffering” like he’s a Biblical epistle writer or something.  There is a “Russian narrative” about the Ukrainian government overthrow in Feb of 2014.  But it would seem to me that is Putin were at least “at the table” we would establish the facts of the coup as to exactly what happen.  If your argument is over the facts, why not nail down those facts once and for all and establish one narrative as True, and establish the other narrative as False?

I watched Hillary’s speech in “Four Freedoms Park” and the picture this day was really wasted.  I got the end of the speech but then went back and played the beginning.  It seems the first hour of the thing was just lively music groups, either African or some sort of Cuban rhythms.  Hillary’s speech itself was pretty wasted.  The thing was so cliché ridden and has this typical “ranting quality” Hillary has, that people are going to get pretty tired of that in short order.  Some of the Republicans from the clown car just might have a chance.  I hate to put this so indelicately but many Republicans are thinking "One day soon we'll be free from that Nigger in the White House" and all of Obama's "niggardly" policies.  (Look that word up)  My point is that Hillary went out of her way to indicate she was the third term of an Obama administration - - and just as the foreign policy between Bush and Obama was seamless, it will be the same between Obama and HIllary.  She made it pretty clear that "If you like (or don't like) Obama, you'll feel the same way about Me.  They want to know what HIllary is going to do about the Federal Reserve or trying to secure that "Peace dividend" her husband talked so much about, and what about the Trans-Canada pipeline?  Is she for it?  Is Hillary for fracking?  Most of all they want to know about Hillary's position on the Trans Pacific Partnership, which is the issue of the day.  They don't care that much about getting ten weeks off per year in paid sick leave, which is something few employers would tollerate, or "taking the dog to the vet".  And they aren't concerned about increasing the number of immigrants competing for a dwindeling number of jobs.  They want to know whether Hillary is going to change the tax laws so businesses aren't paid to relocate off shore and take US jobs with them.  I heard none of this in Hillary's speech.  All I heard was a lot of cliche laden fluff and hype.

In terms of Barock Obama being a secret “agent” or something and a “plant” in the White House, it’s about as extreme on the left as the “2016” movie was on the right.  Obama said “Interesting things happen in the fourth quarter”.  Clearly allying himself with the hard core Republicans is a major position turn-about.   So is Obama really a "plant" in the White House of the Ford Foundation, who have been funding not only Barock himself but his parents too, for decades?  How many people's parents met in Russian class in Hawaii?  Any particular reason why they were interested in Russian?  For vintage Born Again Christians Washington’s blog today is a walk down memory lane.  He talked about David Rockefeller and the Builderberger organization and one world government, and how NATO is tied in with the whole thing.  At the end of WW II there was early rumblings about it and even FDR had visions of a one world democratic government.  But then in 1955 after FDR and Truman were gone, the thing evolved into a more fascistic and corporate organization.  I think even Brazhinski’s name got tossed into the mix.  The early part of this article was saying how the founding fathers regarded a treaty as the same as an alliance, and both should be discouraged “because it diminishes the atmosphere of friendship and honesty and fairness with all nations”.  Washington preached about becoming involved in entangling alliances- - which are the same as treaties, and even the dictionary says so.

It’s been five months since I gave my general “sell” signal for the securities markets.  If you had sold then you would have lost the five percent of principal gains that we’ve had in the last five months.  We are in, in technical terms, an ascending wedge that’s flat on the top and rising on the bottom, and it’s getting narrower and narrow as we make our way down to the point (or apex) of it.  The distance is so small now it can be spanned in one day’s trading.  If you had bought stocks five months ago you’d have made five percent.  But you have to ask yourself right now if you had a bi-polar choice, would you rather be buying or selling right now.  Clearly my prediction of a June dip was scuttled by that one 250 point rise we had in a single day.   How do you (for lack of a better term) “feel” about the general economy now?

Breakfast with the Beatles was an all Paul Mc Cartney day.  Laurence Jubar was on and he played “I saw her standing there” on acoustic guitar, and don’t even ask me how he makes one guitar sound like two guitars.  They also played a Jubar solo of “Let it Be” recorded in 1979.  And Laurence Jubar played on the Live bonus track of “It’s Coming Up” on the Mc Cartney II album.  They played “If it happened to You” from Back to the Egg.  In terms of “What was Paul Mc Cartney doing fifty years ago today?”, the answer is “Recording three songs, “I’ve Just Seen a Face”, “I’m Really Down”, and “Yesterday”, a good day’s work. They also played “Dear Boy” and “Little Woman Love” and “Tomorrow” and “Get on the Right Thing” and “Beware My Love”.   But when you think about it, they really didn’t cover that many songs.  I went out for snacks and had two glasses of punch.  We had domestically made pizza for lunch for the first time in quite some months.  Dora came by with partial seconds which I had.

Is Hillary Really Channeling Roosevelt Tomorrow?

Congress passed the Trans Pacific Authority bill but it isn't a reality yet because the prior TAA (trade adjustment authority?) bill did not pass.  John Boehner called for an immediate vote on the Trans Pacific Authority "fast track" bill right then and it passed.  So technically it's a done deal except for compatability problems with the senate.  Apparently there is a reconsideration on the TAA and  that vote bill won't be till Tuesday “Giving the President time to round up the votes he needs to pass the T A A”.   So the “No” people don’t have a real victory yet.  Afterward, Louie Gommert made a speech in which I agree with about everything I heard him say.  I did turn it off when he began talking about the five for one prisoner swap from Guantanamo for Bo Bergdoll or whoever- - not because I disagreed with what he was saying but because I just wanted to smoke a cigarette after noon.  Gommert aledged that President Obama offered to help the victims of Boco Herone (?) in Nigeria if Nigeria would institute gay marriage and allow free abortions.  Why should we substitute one kind of brutal savagery for another?  It makes no sense.  But Obama offered other African nations the same deal if they would establish abortion and gay marriage in their countries.  Needless to say that on the issue of the TPP Louie Gommert is one of the good guys.   Otherwise- we had chili cheese tater tots today, and the chili was a better recipe than usual.  We had mushroom soup and a banana for dessert.  Today June 12th is “Loving Day” because this is the date in 1967 the decision came down.  I remember the day.  It was overcast and rainy not too different from today and it was the next to the last day of school.  But I don’t remember this decision in the news.

Kevin Mc Carthy and this Miami Cuban guy were making speech favoring the trade promotion authority.  But their arguments were not for the bill at hand.  Even if it’s true that this trade agreement is so “wonderful” and a panacea for transparency and worker’s right protection and guarentees that the LA ports will never be shut down again- - THAT isn’t the issue here.  The issue is to they want to abrogate the constitution saying treaties are to be voted on by two thirds of the Senate.  Treaties have precedence over US laws.  Treaties are a big deal.  This bill ties the constitutional hands of congress not to discuss their own bill or limit it to 78 seconds per house member (what I heard) and no amendments are allowed at all.  This treaty does NOT address some of the fundamental trade issues we’ve had about China and manipulating their currency and whatever.  The argument is just stupid saying “This trade agreement will help us compete with China” is ridiculous!   This treaty binds the hands of congress for six long years and the Senate cannot even filibuster the bill with the sixty percent cloture rule!   This Ohio republican is making the argument “The world is passing us by” and we can’t compete with these other nations that have trade treaties with each other”.  That’s a bunch of nonsense!  But the stupidest thing of all is that WITH this bill passage, John Boehner wants a “jobs re-training” funding bill, where Medicare is raided- - to fund the jobs loss we KNOW are coming!

Daniel and Shane are asking us what we’d like to hear in Hillary Clinton’s campaign kick-off speech tomorrow in Four Freedoms park.  I laid out what I’d like to hear in a paragraph in a recent blog posting in “Rocca-rolla”.   Let’s review Franklin Roosevelt’s “Four Freedoms” speech in 1941.  Roosevelt had just picked a new Vice President in Henry Wallace, who was a virtual communist and became controversial later on.  Wallace delivered that speech attacking business and corporations in April of 1944 Thom Hartman has pointed out.  Republicans were uneasy with the Four Freedoms speech.  Freedom of speech, freedom of Worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear.  I alsays assumed “freedom from fear” had to do with the War effort and the Nazis.  Some have suggested that Blacks may take “freedom from fear” to mean fear of bigotry and lynchings that were still going on.   And Roosevelt said “A necettus man is not free”.  This “freedom from want” may have been the scareyist thing to the Republicans, because it implied some massive new socialism, and perhaps even socialized medicine.  One can only wonder whether she is gotten back in touch with Eleanor Roosevelt she used to have séances in order to make spiritual contact with Eleanor in the White House, or so it was rumored.  One is to listen to see if Hillary is spurring us on to DEMANDING the specific things that are spelled out in her general outline of goals, which presumably she will spell out.

There are brand names we use that are so ubiquitus often we don’t even know the generic term for them.  We speak of taking a Polaroid, or making a Xerox, or lounging in a Jacuzzi.  I spoke the other day of the Velcro phenomenon where everything sticks to you.  People say Water-Pick and not dental irrigator or playing a Blue Ray (rather than a DVD)  or using a Kotex.  And even the ubiquitous IBM card is obviously a brand name, or having a Teflon coating.  But there are other terms that are almost ubiquitus.   We speak of Mylar trash bags or taking a Valium, or an Aspirin, or having Trojans in our pocket or carrying a Colt 45 (the gun, not the beer).  And of course we all know what we’re referring to with Jell-O is or Windex, or going out for a Coke or a Big Mac or a Whopper.  There are a few terms that are still generic.  I think both Latex and Spandex are brand names but Acetate is generic, and micro-waving is certainly generic.  Sometimes generic labels stick.  Nobody speaks of making themselves a Welch’s and Skippy sandwich, or of Johnson-ing the floor.   Is Vaseline a brand name?  Then you have these gasoline additives such as "Chevron with Techron."

AN OPEN LETTER EXCERPT ABOUT THE T P P

“I am writing this letter because I believe that the creation of private arbitrative tribunals to decide whether otherwise valid federal, state, and local laws are inconsistent with the investor protection provisions of the TPP improperly removes a core judicial function from the federal courts and therefore violates Article III of the Constitution.”  He then emphasizes that, “my objection is that our Constitution does not permit disputes that, in practical effect, challenge the legality under the TPP of federal, state, or local laws of the United States, to be assigned to private parties for their exclusive resolution.”  He gives examples of the dangerous consequences that this would open up, such as:  “If Congress decided to regulate them [e-cigarettes] after enactment of the TPP, a non-U.S. investor from a TPP country that makes e-cigarettes here could ask an ISDS panel to rule that its investment-based expectations were improperly violated [by the regulation] and thus that it is entitled to damages under the minimum standard of treatment provisions.”  “A similar challenge could be made by a TPP investor who owned farm land in California and objected to an intensification of mandatory water rationing for farms enacted after the TPP goes into effect, even if such rules also applied to U.S. owners of land that would be adversely affected by them.”  He concludes:  “Given the importance of the ISDS provisions to the TPP, the Administration owes it to Congress and the American people to explain how the Constitution allows the United States to agree to submit the validity of its federal, state, and local laws to three private arbitrators, with no possibility of review by any U.S. court.”

House Votes on Trans Pacific Partnership Tomorrow

The vote on the trans Pacific authority will be held tomorrow in the House.  John Boehner is confident he has enough votes to pass it, so experts say, or he wouldn’t even be bringing the measure up at this time.  Yesterday Norman Goldman “thought” there were enough democratic votes to defeat the measure and hence the whole TPP project.  However today Goldman described the race as “really tight”.  Goldman has turned into kind of a gas bag anyhow just like he talked all over that one caller who wanted to discuss Christian television.  I would say to Norman “Just shut up a minute; you might learn something”.  With talk radio it’s almost a complement when you get treated like crap, because that means the host is deathly afraid of the valid points you might make.  I would note that Rush Limbaugh is always civil with his callers and if there is a conservative on, they get a fair shake.  May I suggest that in the past few years liberals have been altogether too optimistic- about everything.  They claim the Republican party has no direction.  They claim Republicans are not unified.  Both are false.  They know exactly what sort of America they want to institute and so do you.  They march in military lock step.  If one candidate strays too far from the Koch Brothers and FOX talking points, they get reeled back in and toe the line.  And I suspect the “no turning back clause” is invoked.  It’s like with the famed proposed 27th Amendment to the constitution.  The equal rights amendment.  They figured if they could let it hang out there for ten years like velcroe it would on its own acquire enough votes eventually.  But of course if the thing had passed we would have had chaos in the courts.  In addition to all the disputed equal pay for equal work stuff, there would be unisex restrooms and co-ed gym lockers, as well as gay marriage.  And if it passed Prom Queens would be real Queens, if you know what I mean.  The bottom line is I’ve had a bad feeling about the Trans Pacific Partnership for weeks.  I think the whole thing is going to be passed and made part of the law of the land.  There is still far too much apathy to stop the juggernaut.  And remember the way John Boehner will secure the votes of the wavering is to promise them the moon- - and they will be counting on it and say to their people back home “Look what concessions I got from John Boehner”.  I can’t claim that like the ERA the courts will be clogged with chaos- - because of course there WILL be no courts in the sense that Americans think of them.  There will only be the pre set (and pre decided in a Cardassian sense) corporate kangaroo courts.

I had Bill Carol on over the lunch hour is Sean Hannity is going to lie and claim all his employees make at LEAST four hundred thousand per year, which they would have to if what he were saying about their tax situation were true.  And if they ARE that rich, what do they have to complain about?  I agree New York’s taxes seem too high but why don’t they all make good on their threat and move to Texas?   I’ve heard that Clear Channel is going to kick all those conservative bozos off the network starting next year anyhow.   Bill Carol talked about “Drought shaming” and how it’s now a crime to have a green lawn.  If you have a green lawn you are presumed to be guilty without benefit of trial.   Then there was the segment with people with “bodily fluids” in the pool and interacting with the chlorine adverse.   In criticism of Bill’s basic premise- - any acid will have the tendency to neutralize a base like chlorine- - and not make it more potent.  In terms of Clyde Weston on Days of our Lives – Victor made one mistake.  He should have kept that remark about shooting trespassers to himself and shot him in the dark as he made his way to his car.

They’ve got Danielle and Shane on the Thom Hartman show.  It’s the 2nd team in for TH today and they are talking hypothetically what if people lost health coverage from an adverse Supreme Court ruling on Health Care.  The ruling hasn’t come down yet but Stephanie was talking about it too.  I had an episode of “Ring of Fire” on talking about the manufactures of high priced drugs buying out the generic producers- - or would be generic producers bribing them NOT to distribute the drug once the patent runs out.  Another segment lamented that not only have republicans gone way to the political right but Mike Papentonio still believes democrats have gone to the right and reminded us that Hillary Rodham used to be a Goldwater supporter and that Chaffey used to be a Republican.  But the biggest news was that Mc Connell is putting a hold on all judicial appointments by the Obama Administration for the next eighteen months.

I was confirming the 2.646 number for Base e if twos and fours are involved.  However I can’t remember or figure where the figure of 2.656 figure fit in.  Clearly it doesn’t work for two’s and three’s.   My brain is too lethargic this morning to continue.  This afternoon (after time has passed) I went into the “OLDIES” directory in QBASIC and did “Jumping” and “Logbase”, which is the Base E formula.  Here it is.  It’s (1 + 1 / X)  ^X.  As I look at that formula even though it ran the BASE E program it doesn’t make sense.  How is X anything other than the initialized value of one?  Maybe I miscopied.  The CONV FACTOR program in Excel - - has a hatchback stile line graph, but the graph isn’t included in the program.  This is the proposition that when the ratio between base and exponent increases - - BASE E can be redefined downward, or so it would seem.  I got to thinking about how the only combination that works are when base and exponent are 2 and 4.  And yet the “inverse balance factor” as I call it would be 2.646 and not 2.718 with this combo where you have exponent and base as recripricals of each other.  But in the 2 and 4 example, 2 and 4 are not recripricals of each other anyway.

We in the Federation tend not to use the Roman number III, if you look at our writings over the past 25 plus years.  The one case where you have a three planet system is with Sirius where you have Sirius B, A, and O.  Sirius B is the closest to their compound star where you notice a zig-zag pattern of the sun in the sky, which according to legend is where the term “Ziggy” came from.  This is a sun of earth like brightness.  The other two are much farther away.  Sirius A - - has such dim days- - they set their clocks by New York time here on earth and disregard whether it’s actually day or night.  It sounds insane but that’s how they live.  As to Sirius O this star is even farther away and is racially hetrogenious.  It would be the coldest planet but like Andromeda E’s planet- - there is a natural heat of the earth’s crust.  In fact the Crestorians have a term for it translated “Night Heat” that sometimes is applied to the city of Atlanta.   One term of “Danibula” or whatever- - was used on Jeopardy the other day, which is a Romulan star with planets II and IV but we know it by the name Denelus.
