Tom Hayden Endorses Hillary for President

Well now FreeSpeech.org is running marijuana cookbook commercials during the breaks in the Stephanie Miller show.  Remember you can easily OD on ingested marijuana and the effects of the herb often don’t start till a half hour after you have consumed the item.  Hosts are advised to watch guests for those consuming 2nd and 3rd s.   The next commercial was on Nixon’s war on drugs in 1970.  How many “millions of dollars” have we spent on the war on drugs?  Of course Ted Cruz will institute “Judeo-Christian” values which means if you masturbate you are summoning up the sex demon Bezuzu that will take over your soul if you’re a woman.  Of course normally Judeo-Christian values mean being a virgin on your wedding day and never getting a divorce.  So you may be stuck for up to seventy years with the wrong person.  But that doesn’t matter because according to Neil Savedra you can “will yourself” to love anybody.  It’s all a matter of “making a decision” in the supreme act of will worship- and never departing from it.  Of course one might say “But - - what if both you and your wife are a little mentally unbalanced and you’re married to someone like Summer on Days of our Lives.  And what if your parents aren’t so hot on supporting your marriage to begin with?   It’s like getting a job and you’re lazy to begin with and your parents aren’t helping with their negativity saying you’re no good.  Some people say to me “Oh- - you never use a purely abstract example.  Everything you say is auto biographical so it doesn’t count”.   Well I’ll tell you I understand the plight of the poor a lot better after living in this place.  The whole thing about “getting a job” is a steeper climb than it used to be now that you’re of retirement age.  But Ted Cruz wants us to LOVE God and the things of God with all our heart and soul.  How do you do that?  Not that emotion is supposed to play a part in this willed love.  Because when Christians talk about being “saved by Faith” they would seem to literally mean you are saved by exercising sufficient Faith that saves you.  You aren’t saved by the act of Jesus on the cross- - you are saved by your own belief THAT this event happened, rather than the event itself.  It’s no surprise then that you are supposed to will yourself to “have the right values” and all.  Do you think that’s an easy feat?  As a point of pragmatism it’s easier to will yourself to various acts than it is to will yourself to various beliefs and values.  How for instance can you will yourself to believed in a crooked used car salesman sufficient to override the fact that the guy is basically a crook.  An example just came to me today to illustrate the absurdity of salvation by Faith.  If you are blind- - - and you are drowning in the ocean and someone throws you a life line- - you are saved by the lifeline.  It helps of course if you can SEE the lifeline.  To heighten the absurdity- - it’s a violation of the rules for someone to call out “Hey there’s a life line a few feet away from you”.  Because in the real world God has in essence remained MUTE since the first century.  It’s no longer necessary for God to speak because after all we have “The Faith”, which is sufficient to save you.

Stephanie is on the line with John Fugelsang on a Thursday.  Today is April 14, 2016 and one month away from that girl’s quinsinyeara on TV.  Tomorrow is “Sun Dial parody day” when the sundial- - matches the true sun time- - if you’re on the 120 degree parrellel, which we aren’t.  It’s when the sundial on September first- - the mirror direction the other way- - is at parody with the sun dials of lengthening days.  Monday is the Boston Marithon.  Isn’t the Long Beach grand prix this weekend- or was that last week?  Saturday the sixteenth is the day that we have an eight hour electricity black-out around here.  Next Tuesday is the New York primary and many say that Bernie Sanders is going to suffer the defeat of his life then when all those New York state delegates go for Hillary making it a mathematically impossible climb for Bernie now.  And if it doesn’t happen next week it will happen the week after when all those other middle Atlantic states vote such as Pennsylvania and Maryland.   Given this impending doom for Bernie which is coming on April 26th or sooner- - is it any wonder that Tom Hayden, classic protestor of the 1960’s has jumped sides and now he says he’s for Hillary in a very poorly written treaties yesterday.  Of course each and every point is refuted in our own publication from the “other side” because Jim Morrison has come out strongly for Bernie Sanders and wrote a piece yesterday coming out of his Andromeda seclusion- - to call Tom Hayden a traitor to the cause.  Hayden says “Well I’ve always been a feminist so I could not possibly picture myself NOT voting for a woman if the opportunity arose.”  Hayden also explains away the race questions and explains away the fracking questions.  We all know that President Obama has been among the biggest supporters of natural gas fracking.  It’s all a part of his “all of the above” energy stance, which includes such things as “clean coal” which is an oxy-moronism.  Hayden reminds us that Hillary wants frackers to meet certain stringent guidelines.  Well, that’s what Hillary is saying now.  But a lot of us would feel a lot better with an outright ban on fracking.  Of course- - in a bit of a topic change - - Democrats want Donald Trump to win the Republican nomination because he’ll be a lot easier target to beat with all this sexist stuff that’s floating around and Hillary as the standard bearer.  Of course Bernie still does better against Kasech, Cruz and Trump than Hillary Clinton does.  I wish voters would remember that as they go to the polls in New York.

Paul Ryan will not seek and will not accept his party’s nomination for President.  He made that announcement today.  But now people are thinking they’ll try and bring back Marco Rubio for the position.  Rubio decided not to seek reelection for Florida senator.   According to Norman Goldman the Supreme Court declared Wisconsin’s “right to work for less” anti Union law to be unconstitutional.  I hope that’s true but we won’t hear it on the evening news.   "Labor Unions" in general is considered off limits by this corporate media.  They'd sooner slit their throat than give us a pro Union story.  Certainly one about a Supreme Court ruling favorable to Labor Unions.  We haven’t heard any more about those 28 pages missing from the 9 – 11 report, either.  This is an update.  60 Minutes last Sunday apparently had just such a report on those 28 pages, which involves 17 of the 19 9 - 11 hijackers being from Saudi Arabia.  17 is the figure Rush Limbaugh uses.  Rush, oddly, gives credence to this 60 Minutes report as though it were actually new and fresh material Americans should know about.  I'm a little surprised 60 Minutes in this day and age even aired this report given the media's constant assurance that there IS no such thing as a "9 - 11 conspiracy".  Now there is talk that it would take Americans to show these nineteen hijackers the ropes and find out how to successfully carry out their crime.

It’s funny how George Bush and Tony Blair lied up a blue streak in their joint press conference at the White House in January of 2003.  They kept talking about the first UN resolution being sufficient to go to war and how a second UN resolution is probably just a stalling tactic.   The Iranians first kicked the UN inspectors out of Iraq but then invited them back in and President Bush called that a “stalling tactic”.   Bush said that Bush still has time to “completely disarm” and either he will do that or we will come in and disarm him.  The problem with that is that we didn’t “limit” our War effort but went to completely take down the entire government dismantling it piece by piece leaving complete chaos.   President Bush kept talking about how “everything is connected”.  9 – 11 is connected to terrorism which is connected to weapons of mass destruction and Saddam Hussein is getting ready to use weapons of mass destruction on Americans.  Someone asked the President about plans to invade Iraq six days after 9 – 11 and Bush got vague and defensive in his answer.  The whole news conference was rather strange and almost plausible in some highly deluded sort of way.

Washington’s blog had “Ten War Propaganda lies” and it has stuff like- - well, both President Bushes made it seem as if war hadn’t been decided upon yet but we were “waiting for Saddam to do something” to prove he wasn’t aggressive.  There was talk in those days about the war option as a last resort and how it seemed almost plausible to go to war if, for example Saddam Hussein didn’t “disarm” and demonstrate he had no weapons of mass destruction.  Of course the UN observers weren’t even allowed to finish their job before we invaded.   It also disregards the fact that there was some Bush White House memo that stated that it was our plan to take out give Mideastern governments in five Mideastern nations over the next seven years or whatever.  As that ex marine said in a video last week “The key to Mideast peace is regene change, but not in any of those countries but here in the United States.  We even lied a little about World War II if we thought the war effort was in any way to “save the Jews from extermination”.  Because a lot of people had plans to transport the Jews to some neutral country- - such as Madascar or some place in Africa, or some place where they would be safe.  We have Obama at the present time who has become known as The Drone King.  Droning is the assassination weapon of choice because instead of just sending in a hit squad to take out a leader- - that’s now too dangerous and unnecessary- - we just done them to death even if it means the deaths of innocent civilians.  But also we have as much as said that American citizens living in foreign nations who haven’t even been charged or convicted of a crime are fair game.  We don’t imprison then at Guantanamo any more, we just take out these dangerous suspects with Drones.  Now Bernie Sanders wants to take a breath and pause to reflect before taking out the Assad government knowing what happened with the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria.  This to me is a glaring blotch in Hillary’s foreign policy record.  They say that under Qadafi that Libya had the second highest standard of living anywhere outside of South Africa.  That’s what one news source said.  There were reports of impending genocide in Libya.   But most people regard these charges of impending genocide by Qadafi as false charges now.  In fact Qadafi would forgive any foreign fighter against him if they would just throw down their weapons.   These are things we all need to think about.

Could a "False Flag" Nuclear Attack Hit Detroit?

People like Norman Goldman say there is a slow motion move tword progressivism but I don’t see it because it’s not happening.  All you need do is to look at the off year elections of 2010 and 2014 to realize this.  Ten years ago we were a lot closer to some kind of “revolution on the left” than we are now.  The reason why democrats are not turning out to vote is because they tried that eight years ago with Obama and we’re still getting over the shock of his inaction on ending wars and lack of regulation of Wall Street.  Hillary is for fracking, which is much more prevalent now than ten years ago.  Twenty years ago it was not considered normal to be in a continuing state of war in the Mideast.

OK now Washington’s blog is predicting that downtown Chicago will be the epicenter of a nuclear False Flag attack while Obama is still President and Mayor Rohm Emanuel agrees with cooporating with the military on this.  The whole thing is based on clues in a movie plot.   Thom Hartman is saying now that "Building 7" fell of its own accord because there was jet fuel on the roof that had caught fire six hours earlier by burning debris.  That's downright silly.  If you've seen Building 7 in particular on 9 - 11 it falls from the bottom story first and then the others - - 2nd and 3rd - - and so on collapse.  It collapses from the bottom and not from the top as you'd expect from "jet fuel on the roof".  So could there be a nuclear "false flag" attack?  The Federation says "Yes, there could".  Only they are saying it will be Detroit and not Chicago.  The reasons why three thousand millionaires are leaving Chicago is not from the rumor of a nuclear attack but due to the rising crime rate.  I am increasingly doubting whether our government has any morals or restraints at all.  They are so desperate to keep the American people in an ongoing state of war hysteria, there's no telling what they might do.

I had a dream last night I was studying for finals at this school located somewhere around Dale and La Palma and the Buena Park Mall wasn’t there.  There was this teacher resembling Dr Levy who was doing math and I had trouble with these trigonometry “story problems”, which should have been easy but I couldn’t get a consistent answer.  This was at eight thirty in the morning (?) with class due to start at nine.  But in the mean time I thought I would “walk the cats of a couple friends”.  We went past Knott’s to the west and after Western there was a hill incline and passing Knott the incline grew steeper.  I crossed the next main street (Holder?) and entered a building that was some kind of shop.  This German brunette who was overweight grabbed me and began kissing me.  I excused myself and went looking for the two cats, which had gotten away and I thought I saw them further up the hill.  But the funny thing was several people were out walking their cats this day and I was looking at other people’s cats.  I called for them but decided to return to class anyhow since it was already past nine.  The strange thing is it didn’t feel like morning but late afternoon and I originally thought it might be nice to run back down the hill with the cats and get there quickly.  Now I observed on returning there were stair steps downward that slowed my pace and I was afraid of tripping.  I noticed the lights at Western looked brighter.

Thom Hartman thinks any outside group from the left can get inside and take over the Democratic Party just like the Clinton people did in the early 1990’s.  I don’t think that’s possible now.   Yes, Bernie has pushed the political dialog leftward and that’s a good thing as far as it goes, but - - - .   You know.  It's not nearly enough to get the job done that needs to be done, and it won't be and deep down I think Hartman knows it.  He's been singing this same song for years about Obama playing chess while everybody else is playing checkers- - and all that nonsense.   The power structure of the party is frozen.  It's set like concrete, imovable.  At least Shawn Hannity is man enough to admit that the Republican party is all shot to hell in terms of hopeless fractures and divisions.  Hillary and Obama are basically "Bush Light".   They are pro war and pro fracking and pro Wall Street and you know Hillary will spin around on a dime so fast it will make your head spin in terms of all the "Bernie speeches" she's been giving lately.  She knows it and we know it.  Nobody is getting fooled by her show.

Now Thom Hartman is saying that the Zeeka virus is more dangerous than we all thought and affects the entirety of a pregnancy, not just the first few weeks, and the mosquito is more widespread than we thought.  Thom goes on to inform us that it was the German Measles outbreak in 1966 that caused birth defects all through the late ‘sixties and helped pave the way to Roe verses Wade because all those women clamored for abortion.  Thom speculates that the same thing could happen in the red states now as more and more women are affected by the Zeeka virus.   People say "Making abortion illegal won't stop abortions; it will just drive them underground.  The POINT is that Roe verses Wade needs to be overturned and turn the whole problem back to the states and let THEM deal with the finer points of the law.  It's their job to do that- and not the Federal government and deep down I'm sure Thom Hartman knows that, too.

Brian Adams is the next rock star to cancel a concert- this time in Mississippi.  Bruce Springsteen canceled his concert tour in North Carolina a week or so ago because of all of this homo-phobic legislation.  I don’t like that word but here it seems to fit.  As Kasech says “Why can’t we just keep things the way they are now without enacting a series of all new legislation?’  It's clear that the gay lobby has a hammer-lock on both the media in the news and otherwise, and also on the American oppinion polls.  People like Norman Goldman say that this "revolution" we hear so much about is really happening.  On the GAY issue it certainly IS and HAS happened.  But it is the ONLY area- - that three percent sliver of the population- - where leftward progress has been seen.  Take the whole gay thing out of the picture and we have had negative progress over the past eight years.

Rhapsody in black featured songs from April of 1962.  They were better than usual about being strictly accurate, time wise.  An awful lot of songs had that ‘Hully Gully” beat.   They played the original version of “I Feel Good” and “I Sold My Heart to the Junk Man” and also that Ikets song “I Hope Her Reading was Wrong”.  I had to go for snacks in the front room from Dora.  A line had formed.  I had two packages of graham crackers and two cups of iced tea- -and then I went out back and smoked the remaining butt I had.   They played “You Better Move On” by Arthur Alexander, which the Stones also did.  They played “What’s Your Name” by Don and Juan, an anachronistic song already when it was out.   They played “Matilda – She Take My Money and Run to Las Vegas”.   They played the original version of “Fortune Teller” compete with mericus.  They played “Mashed Potatoes” and “Twist, Twist, Senor” and “Soul Twist” by King Curtis.  They played a Drifters song I’d never heard before about “When My Girl is Smiling”.  They played “The Nut Rocker” and “Let Me In” and “Janie”  and “Something’s Got a Hold On Me” (It must be love).  There was “Soldier Boy” and “The One Who Really Loves You” and “Don’t Leave Me No More” by Earnie Kado.   After a while I turned off the radio and went to the liquor store for a pack of John Blacks from the lady.

All The Racist White Men

ALL THE RACIST WHITE MEN

Lackeys of Ted Cruz – born with a silver spoon in their mouth
High on ambition - Freedom to live anywhere in the land as long as it’s the South
What do they care?
All the racist White men – where do they all come from?
All the racist White men – where do they all belong?

Look at Ted Nugent.  Once a political whacko but now he’s main stream
Lives in a dream
Look at him brooding- - shining his gun in the night when there’s nobody there- it’s all the same theme
All the racist White men – where do they all come from?
All the racist White men – where do they all belong?

Raphael Cruiser- - died at a KKK rally- - his ticket to fame
Victory rally due to be held on the night of November the eighth – nobody came
All the racist white men- - where do they all come from?
All the racist White Men - - where do they all belong?
The Washington's blog headline is “Government Accounting is Fraudulant”.  Everybody knows that, but who had the “gravitas” to change anything?  Another entry was about the value of the ‘networking effect” and the more people who use an employment service, the more valuable that service becomes.  (It’s “market value”)  There was an associated mathematical formula.  Then they returned to the theme covered before of how Hillary is the number one choice for a lot of Republicans because of her interventionism even if they turn out to be disasters such as Iraq, Honduras,  Ukraine, and of course - - in Libya.  Let me just add right here that there is a hell of a lot more than a few percentage difference between Bernie Sanders and Hillary.  People like Stephanie and Hartmann would have you to believe that either candidate would be equally acceptable,.  We have Wall Street, and we have conservation, which I elaborate on below.  We have their stance on marijuana- - and I suspect their whole attitude toward the major drug companies is completely different.  You have differences on things such as consumer rights.   But the biggest single election in this election is one almost nobody is talking about.  Defeating the Trans Pacific Partnership.  This single issue might be twenty percent in total "gravitas" of weight of an issue all by itself.  It's that important in terms of preserving our very form of government.  If you value the Supreme Court at all, if you want them to continue to exercise "the supreme law of the land" then don't sign the Trans Pacific Partnership.  This is what turned me against John Kasech.  But what is the most important trait for a candidate to have?  As I said several days ago- - if you have one candidate with “more experience” and another candidate “who really cares about us” go with the one who cares, because this is a character trait.  Experience can be learned- - character is permanent.
If there is one group who has suffered more injustice than the Blacks, it’s the American Indian population, more properly known as Native Americans.  White people not only want to rape the women and rape the wealth of their opponents, they want to rape the land itself.  Thom Hartman says that when this sickness of Greed enters an individual he is shunned by society and society walls itself away from such an avaricious individual to protect itself.   Slavery was seen as an issue of “economic rights” for the South.  That old man referred to his grandfather’s loss of “his workers” after the Civil War as a major tragedy.   Man has a lust for taking what is not his.  The red man knows this very well as a trait of the oppression of the white man.  So the white man just isn’t racist- - it isn’t that he has fear and loathing of “the other”.  This is all a part of the psychological profile.  It’s that the White man is at war with nature herself.  This is whole “In this sign - - conquer” adage has survived alive and well all this time.  Hillary is taking a lot of her donations from energy stocks.  President Obama’s record on conservation is almost laughable, and has been the target of protest by people such as green peace.  Hillary says she wants to be a third term of the Obama administration.  We need to start again respecting the planet.
Bill Clinton has been defending his policy of law and order in the nineties to the “Black Lives Matter” people.  Bill points out that crack-heads were a real problem and these drug dealers are thuggish.  They get thirteen year old boys to sell the dope because they won’t get as big a penalty as the guys who bring the stuff into the country.  If Black people are honest they would appreciate a little cracking down on this epidemic of drug addiction that plagued the inner city in the ghetto.  What you see now is a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking having second thoughts about these long sentences and bulging prison populations.
Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have each accused the other candidate of not being qualified to be President.  But late yesterday both candidates back-tracked on their statement.  Hillary said Bernie would be a way better President than either Cruz or Trump.  If they haven’t kissed and made up at least they’ve stopped the party from hemeraging.  We would contrast this with Shawn and other republicans calling particular issues “a hill to fight and if necessary- - die on”.  If Cruz and Trump don’t get their way they’re prepared to blow up the party.  Now I hear from liberals that Trump is meeting with these big Wall Street tycoons trying to cut some sort of deal with them.  With the Republicans it’s all money and deal making in back rooms.  I’ve never that much bought into the notion that there is this mythical “liberal establishment’ of Republicans that prevent conservatives from winning the nomination.  Dole, Mc Cain and Romney all won the nomination fair and square.  But this is a completely different year.
Mankind engages in what psychologists call "projection" when dealing with the subject of extra terriestrial visitations to the planet.  It's one of fear and a certain expectation that we are destined to be either militarily invaded or else exploited in some way.  I do not disagree with this assesment.  I'm just telling you where it's coming from.  In reality there is no "fairy godmother" come to help us out.  Life isn't a fairy tale plot of discovering that we have Royal blood and are singled out for some special privelege.  Of course the ultimate play on this overall theme is the New Testament where there is a god who singles out SELECT members of Mankind for special favor and seeming privelege.  In reality I subscribe to the Star Trek theory of the Cosmos.  There is no "vast world of goodness and peace" out there.  It's a pluralistic society with warring factions and uneasy military stand-offs just like we have here among the nations on Planet Earth.  There are few is any who are "going to do something nice" for us peons for the sheer altruistic goodness of it.  It all has to fit into one person's plan or scheme- - or in some say by manipulating pawns one society may be "proving a point" to another.  But on the other hand I think it would be sheer Ego of us to assume that somehow WE can influence THEM.  I think the general rule is pawns we are and pawns we will remain.  Of course in chess pawns can be used to redeem a Queen.  Or do I overextend an analogy?  I am assuming one day we'll know substantially more about these extra-terriestrial societies than we do today.  But I'm not holding my breath.

The Insergency Forces Win Big in Wisconsin

Bernie Sanders won big last night in Wisconsin beating Hillary by thirteen points.  NBC news had Sanders declared as the winner after they had only been counting ballots a half an hour.  All Norman Goldman could say was “Well I guess Bernie fans should be happy today”.  He talked as if he’d rather have seen Bernie lose.  The so called liberal press can’t stop reminding us how difficult it will be for Bernie to get a majority of delegates saying he’ll have to win 67% of all remaining delegates or whatever.  I never heard Hillary’s speech.  Donald Trump also lost big on the republican side losing also by about thirteen points to Ted Cruz.  I watched the Ted Cruz speech where he was introduced by Governor Scott Walker.  You don’t mess with Scott Walker if you’re a Republican who’s survived three elections in five years.  That slavish fan base isn’t going anywhere.  But before you start parading Ted Cruz around like the winning horse at the Derby covered in roses- - keep in mind something Shawn said today.  It’s funny how sometimes Shawn is the only person who’s objective.  Norman Goldman is ready to declare a whole new trend of the campaign now that this “momentus” win in Wisconsin has occurred.  Both Walker and Cruz made much out of the magnitude of the significance of this win in Wisconsin.  Both Walker and Cruz talked on and on about recent delegate victories in other states, as did Norman Goldman, who calls himself a liberal.  But Shawn said “Cruz shouldn’t necessary be too happy about the win”.  In other words the democrats can stop popping Champaign corks now that the dreaded Donald Trump as lost.  Because Cruz is merely a pawn by the republican establishment.  They’re just using him- - giving him help for now- - - in an effort to stop Trump, which is their real goal.  It could be they’re hoping to “turn” Cruz establishment.  To me it’s an easy lift because I think this whole Shawn thing about the “liberal establishment” in the Republican party is downright silly.  When they begin calling people like Kasech and Paul Ryan “liberals” you know you’ve slipped through the looking glass.  Cruz will find it rough sledding the next few weeks when a lot of the Atlantic sea-board states vote.  Mal Evans reminds us that as bad as some people think Donald Trump is- - electing Ted Cruz would be a hell of a lot worse.  And anything that makes it harder for Ted Cruz we should celebrate.   (Selah)

This is Wednesday April 6, 2016 after dinner. As you know this will be the first blog entry since Saturday.  Rates have really slowed down and you have this cold to blame for it.  It's a real bear.  It’s slightly overcast.  Rain is predicted tomorrow with a major drop in temperatures.   This cold of mine can be said to have started late Friday a week ago.  The cough began in earnest the following Sunday morning and has been an issue ever since.   Tonight we had chicken drumsticks again, with mashed potatoes and carrots with two oatmeal cookies for dessert.  For once Teresa isn’t looking for car today.  She was just out for a stroll.  I don’t know if it’s a five or ten day course of antibiotics.  I think already they have helped my sinuses.  Since I learned I can have cough medicine every six hours I was down there just before one, and again just after two- - and everything was closed.  I got iced tea and fruited red Jell-O as a snack from Dora.  Later I went in to read the menu and Dora was there with another Jell-O and I had that.  I think the sweetness of it actually helped my cough..  It’s been to five now so I have just over two hours to wait.  I had Shawn Hannity on over the noon again and again after the refreshment break.   Friday will be four weeks since Bill has been gone.

Chris Matthews Turns his Guns on The Donald

Chris Matthews’ problem is that he’s a hopelessly biased questioner.  He asks Donald Trump about abortion.  Abortion is the willful taking of an innocent human life.  Therefore it is murder.  We can agree on that.  But then Matthews says something like “Should therefore the woman be put on trial and perhaps executed”?  Trump says “No”.  Then Matthews says he has a problem with that and why won’t Trump go for the obvious remedy of putting the woman on trial.  What Matthews is driving at is- - if you won’t execute a woman for abortion therefore )as a logical conclusion) the unborn fetus is NOT life, nyah, nyah!  Then Matthews says accusingly “Then you want to ban abortion.  How do you actually do it?” (He says this implying that “Well of course it’s impossible to ban abortion therefore we should not do it”.  One should ask Matthews as a Catholic why he is even pursuing this line of questioning.  Matthews says “I believe in my Church’s moral teaching but for matters of legality, I disagree with them”.  “Huh?” If Matthews were honest he’d say “I think my Church’s teaching on unborn life is bogus and everybody running for President must agree with my position on this matter or else I don’t think they’re qualified to run for President.   At times Matthews can be an intellectual air head.

Hillary Clinton is not open to questions from individuals when it isn’t planned out ahead of time.  This was illustrated when she snapped at an individual in line for quoting part of a Bernie Sanders speech.  Actually it was a green peace activist asking about fissile fuel money in her campaign.  Hillary has a lot of flash points.  She’s even criticizing Sanders for not being critical enough of Trump on his abortion speech.  Then she rants and raves about having a million more votes than Trump and two and a half million more votes than Sanders.

I missed President Obama’s speech on ISIS terrorism.  The President has been talking a lot about ISIS terrorism lately.  Some republican congressman says he agrees with the President’s assertion that ISIS is a worldwide problem, but then he accuses the President as merely seeking to “contain” ISIS in Iraq and Syria.  I don’t recall President Obama ever saying he was going to “limit” or restrict his efforts in this matter of merely “containing” ISIS.  Nobody denies that ISIS is a worldwide threat- - and needs to be dealt with as such.   But I get the vague feeling bolstered by Washington's blog entries, that "the western world" is not as serious about being unified against ISIS as we might think.  It's as though we want to attack ISIS unless it offends Saudi Arabia or Yemen or one of these other rich Mideast oil countries.

I think I agree with Donald Trump on his nuclear position once I understand it.  I don’t see why we still have NATO.  One chief job of NATO is to make things hard for Russia and the other function is to take our money.  Aren’t we shelling out big bucks to be a supporter?  As to restricting the “nuclear weapons club” I think that ship has sailed.  We now have nations like Pakistan and North Korea and Israel as members of the nuclear club.  So what’s wrong with letting Japan and South Korea have nukes to protect both nations from North Korea.  If NK targets Japan and SK then they won’t be targeting us.  So don’t we have a selfish interest in letting these two nations have nukes or an I “ uninformed” on the nuclear position?  In terms of taking nuclear weapons “off the table” in response to Chris Matthews’ comments, we haven’t destroyed our nuclear weapons.  We have them so they’re “on the table” as I see it as options should a dire enough situation arise.  But this is just another ploy by Hillary to make Donald Trump appear extreme.   Anyhow I think I’ve watch enough for today.

There is this ex marine who is also a surfer and kind of laid back under most circumstances.  But he had over an hour long video on how War is a Lie and he’s also anti Israel.   He makes “challenging statements” to borrow from Nurse Ratchet.  He prefers the term “Jewish State” rather than Zionist state.  He says that the teachings of the Thalmud govern Israel’s foreign policy and he hates any “supremacist” nation.  He claims the Thalmud teaches that it’s OK to have sex with a three year child of either sex but not a two year old.  He also quoted the Thalmud of saying the Virgin Mary was a whore and that right now Jesus is drowning in a boiling sea of excrement.  You won’t find anything like this in the Koran.    You know if we're talking about nuclear powers or terror threats, we have to look at the twin evils of Israel and Saudi Arabia.  No I don't want an arms race between Iran and Saudi Arabia.  But we shouldn't be paranoid about dealing with Iran in an effort to PREVENT nukes before they happen, either.  As plresident Jack Kennedy said, "Never let us negotiate out of fear, but never let us fear to negotiate".   A part of me wonders is Israel never existed as a nation- - - how many fewer problems would there be in the Middle East?

The unemployment rate rose to five percent even.  There were 215,000 jobs added this past month.  Norman Goldman ran down the other statistics.  There was some chart I was looking at yesterday that showed the “real unemployment” rate has not dipped below ten percent for the first time in ages.  Of course being a democrat, Norman touts the positive news that the work force has expanded to 63%.  What if I bragged as a student that my test results have risen to 63%?  Not much to brag about.   There are numbers that say that the "real" unemployment number now is just under ten percent, so we've made progress there.  Still the Republicans have a point.  We should be adding double the number of jobs we are currently adding, if we really want to see this economy get going, as well as provide some real (sure) financial security for stock holders.  Right now they are on very thin ice.  Manufacturing was one of the disappointing segments of the economy.

I’d also like to make the following observation about both Goldman and Hartman who both say they are for Bernie Sanders.  If you worked for GAIN detergent and all you did all day long was mouth off to your fellow workers about what an inferior product GAIN detergent is- - -and projected sales numbers mean nothing because TIDE is clearly the better product.  And it goes so far that if a customer who likes GAIN detergent calls up to praise the product and say how much better than TIDE it is- - that Hartman would hang up on them.  Do you see my point?  This sort of non existant enthusiasm for your candidate of choice is beyond pathetic.  Why do I have to go to someone like Shawn to get objective reporting about Sanders?  Sanders comes out and clearly states that Hillary is the weaker of the two candidates because Bernie stacks up better against all three Republicans, Trump, Kasrch and Cruz.   But to criticize Hillary in any way is to be tagged as “Not Nice”.   So- - there is no talk of E mails or the content of her Wall Street speeches.
