God Says, "Curiosity killed the Cat"

Leo Le Port was talking about hearing aids today and how they are ment to amplify vocal ranges and not meant as high fidelity.  He talked about hearing aids giving medical information about you and can be GPS devices and can memorize the acoustics of a room like a particular auditorium you go to.  Leo says that devices that talk to you like watches, Google glasses and such are the in thing because you can get information just for you that way.   I think we are just too High Tech.  Pretty soon we’ll forget just how to go about a normal day’s living without them.

How we feel about something definitely affects how we talk about it.  I’ll admit that.  We all have our personal biases that affect everything we say.  Hopefully we aren’t letting our own predispositions color the truth of that we are saying too much.   Just to describe the Bible and “Biblical faith” would entail a bias depending on the speaker.  It’s this way for people who talk about anything- - sports, women, Donald Trump.  You can’t even talk about the Creation in the Bible without pointing out, for instance.  That there are waters ABOVE the “firliment” or sky or heavens or what have you.  How is this water held up there?  Did the Bible writer believe that the stars, moon and planets are up there in our atmosphere?  It strikes me that one slogan a Churchman would like is “Curiosity killed the cat” because curiosity seems to be universally a bad thing.  The GOOD thing is unfading trust in this parent figure- - who supposedly is Jehovah, but in reality is the local pastor or perhaps a really overbearing personal friend, who may not be nearly as much as a friend as you think he is.  You see this curiosity in the Adam and Eve story where the serpent tells they one thing and “God” (did he speak as a booming disembodied voice?) tells them another in the Garden of Eden.  Eve and then Adam get curious about the apple tree and whether apples would be good to eat.  Scripture says “They were pleasant to the eyes and good to the taste”.   You will not that the wrath of God did not come down on Eve after she ate the fruit until she gave some to Adam and he ate also.    Of course a way in which God saw curiosity as a bad thing was in the Tower of Babel story where they built some kind of an observatory and God was paranoid because he thought they were trying to find out the secrets of heaven.  So he scattered them by dividing their languages and they scattered.   God apparently doesn’t like cooperation among mankind.  But it’s hard to know.  Because for Cain, it was OK to commit incest with one or more of his sisters, and yet it was a sin not to realize his sacrifice was inferior to his brother Abel’s because Abel’s involved the shedding of sacrificial blood.   Another virtue God is really high on is patience.  When Moses went up to Mt Sinai and stayed there for forty days - - the people grew impatient and sought to take things upon themselves as to who and what “God” was.  Their only vice was that their patience was not infinite, as presumably it was supposed to be.  Other questions come to us.  God seemed less bothered by the fact that Cain had committed murder than he was by the fact he didn’t know about blood sacrifices.  And yet “scattering” was what the people at the Tower of Babel should have done but didn’t.  So you have to write these things down.  Incest is OK but coming together as a people- - bad- - and murder is somewhere in-between.  But just when you think that’s figured out King Soul sought the Lord’s favor in offering up an animal sacrifice before a big battle because the man in charge wasn’t there.  That would be Samuel.  Apparently Saul won the battle but he still did the wrong thing because he didn’t wait for Samuel to offer the sacrifice and he didn’t want to lose the battle.  So apparently “thinking for youself” isn’t high on God’s list.  Apparently unquestioniong obedience to God is high on God’s list.  Abraham slew his son Isaac, or would have, out of such unquestioning obedience.  And yet today is someone gets messages from “God” about anything- - we think they’re a little crazy.   But then we are told God is fed up with animal sacrifices entirely farther on in the old Testament.  We hear “to obey is better than sacrifice”.   That’s fine till we get to the New Testament, and we are told that “works” (or obedience) must take a back seat to Faith in a blood sacrifice.  If you’re a believer you think I’m being silly for nit picking.  But are these points just triffles?

As you can see we have another rock compilation in the pipeline.  So basically we’re going for the traditional Tuesday morning record release.  We plan to offer a “Free Bonus Album” of Donald Trump’s State of the Union address once he delivers it.  These tend to take about seventy minutes, but maybe because it’s Trump he’ll take longer.  *This is a last minute add-back song on the release date.

The front photo is kind of a hospital room setting.  But on the gurneys are not patients but cabbage patches- - only it’s big lettuce and faces in the lettuce of the members of Donald Trump’s cabinet and little girls are all admiring them with great fascination.  A lot of these songs are originally from the “Bush Babies” album but clearly these songs weren’t that marketable in their former state.  There are a few complaints of how the current head hauncho is too keen in re-releases.  On the back is like Iditarod dog race with sled dogs and Governor Christie is spurring them on in the sled from behind with a wild eyed expression on his face.  The dogs are going from left to right off the screen.  And the terrain is very mountainous and there is a big drop off cliff or something to the right and it looks as if the dogs keep going the same direction (to the right) they will all head headlong off the cliff one by one.  On the inside flap are the song listings.  The proposed front photo of the “Free Bonus” disk is the British parliament with parliament members throwing tomatoes at Donald Trump as he tried to make a speech.  There is a little flux here as to what the final format will be.   As of now though we plan to distribute the to be recorded Trump CD in its own jewel box.  Perhaps key quotes from the speech will highlight the back, and commentary will be on the inner flap.

Kurt Bush won the Daytona 500 just now if you’re curious as it’s coming up on 3:30 and the sun has about set there.  Although the sun was shining after six.   Rene said he was out of aftershave when Bill asked him for some.  An extra bottle popped up in the sink storage area.  Maybe Bill can use that.   Bill gave me two white cigarettes before dinner even before I told him I was smoking my last cigarette.

More on the North Korea Situation

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — For years, North Korea has rattled the world with its nuclear tests and its threats to visit a nuclear holocaust upon the United States. Now, the finding by the Malaysian police that Kim Jong-nam was assassinated with VX nerve agent is a stark reminder of the North’s lesser-known weapons of mass destruction: a stockpile of chemical and biological weapons.  Mr. Kim, the estranged elder brother of North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, was killed on Feb. 13 when two women rubbed his face with the nerve agentat Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the police said on Friday.  If North Korean nationals were indeed behind the killing, as Malaysian officials suggest, the use of VX raises several questions: Was the North Korean government using the attack to signal to the world its fearsome arsenal of such dangerous weapons? Or was the toxin simply an attempt to avoid detection in carrying out a brazen killing at one of the world’s busiest airports?  “By using VX in an international airport in the heart of Asia, North Korea has sent a very clear message to the world that it will strike its enemies anywhere in the world,” said Rohan Gunaratna, an expert on terrorism at the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies in Singapore. “It also demonstrates the North Korean response in the event of an attack against North Korea.”

Donald Trump spoke at CPAC the other day and made ten glaring errors, falsehoods which have been exposed by a rather lengthly article that's too long to repeat here.  Sometimes it takes time to refute a falsehood and people don't have the patience to listen to the real facts of the matter.  President Trump has probably told more lies both in the campaign and as President than any other American President.

Apparently there are organizations dedicated to getting marijuana into old folk's homes because a lot of seniors have arthritus and other ailments including Alzheimers that apparently marijuana helps.  It seems to be good for a new ailment every day.  Of course many counties even in California want to ban marijuana alltogether.  And of course you can't sell marijuana on your own.  And you can't smoke it in public so in reality the drug isn't completely legal.  You should be able to smoke marijuana just like cigarettes, as long as you're not driving a car or opperating machinery on the job or something, where your being stoned could be hazardous to the health of others.  Of course President Trump if he wanted to exercising his powers as President could shut down all medical marijuana distribution in the entire country, and there'd be no way to fight it in the courts because it could be considered an "executive action".

Supposed you were saved or "given eternal life" only if you believed in a certain Story.  It could be about Jesus but it could just as well be about the right wing version of American History.  You know what that entails.  There would be nothing about abuse of the Indians or Slavery or the Gilded Age, or the Progressive Era, or Women's Sufferage or anything.   But the thing is people like Neil Savedra want to make it kind of a game.  Excuse my paranoia and if I'm all wrong about this I ask God's forgiveness.  But here's how I see it.  You try and "get right with God" and God's on the other side throwing roadblocks to your Faith so that it's impossible for you to believe.   A good chess player can think three moved ahead of his opponent.  But God knows every move his opponent will make in the entire game and according to Neil, "It's no crime for God to know every move you're going to make, or all of the thought processes behind making each decision."  God is pretty smart.  But if he has decided you're going to pick B when you only get saved by picking A, then you're pretty much sunk before you begin.  It's no longer a contest to see who is rightious, but rather it's a credulity contest.  If you don't have sufficient unquestioning blind trust in what the right wing preaches, then you're out in the cold.  One of the greatest virtues in this scheme of thing is an unquestioning lack of doubt.  That's what it looks like to me.  It's pretty hard to "will yourself" (as Neil suggest doing) to believe A when all of your common sense and inner gut feeling tells you that it's B.  (Selah)

House Republicans have forged a plan for the future of Medicaid that would temporarily keep federal money flowing to cover almost the entire cost of people already insured through the program’s expansion under the Affordable Care Act but would block the law’s generous funding for any new participants. At the same time, the GOP approach would open a fresh spigot of aid for the 19 Republican-led states that eschewed the ACA’s Medicaid money because of their leaders’ antipathy to the law. This extra aid would probably go to hospitals with a large share of poor and uninsured patients.

I had another of those dreams last night.   I would take someone’s car and just drive off in it and then some point down the line I would realize I shouldn’t be doing that and then be worried about getting back to the start point without having an accident or picked up by the cops because I didn’t have a valid license.  On this night it was around six o clock on a summer evening when it was still sunny out.  I headed west on the  91 Freeway in a new car my Dad had just bought, and suddenly it dawned on me that Dad would be coming home soon.  I remember taking some overpass to the left (headed south) but then getting right off on an unauthorized side road (?) and I happened on this apartment and went up to the second floor and just walked in the building.  Some other people were coming in and they seemed not to notice my presence, or didn’t mind.  Suddenly I was confused as to what to do.  Just then Paul arrived not knowing how I had gotten there.  This group were clients of his.  There was some “housing swap” where these poor transients would come and occupy a building and the people who lived there before would go take their old residence.  But the trouble is these people were welfare bums and the place was filled with trash.  But some of them had portable stereo systems and I didn’t particularly like thye music they were playing.  I asked Paul when we could leave and he said that he planned to be there all evening at least till midnight.  I got in other conversations with people.

Here is a resurrected two CD set of material.  The contents of disk one are untouched from the December 7th 2006 original.  The second CD is modified a little  *This AC DC song was swiched to another from the same album by popular request February 25th.  A couple others have changed.  We're keeping the Devo Track but getting rid of the Weird Al track.  ***  these tracks are now from the defunct "Bush Babies" album.  We removed one BOC track because it was used in January this year.  We also moved one track to another slot.  ** This track was added from an undisclosed source.

The Supreme Court's Dictatorial Policies on Abortion

I had the Norman Goldman show on for the hour.  He had a senior legal analyst time this hour and it centered on a pro abortion ruling of the Supreme Court last June we’d forgotten about.  Antony Kennedy was the swing vote in favor of the democrats.  Texas was put on notice that there would be no abridgements of abortion rights in Texas.  There would be no quibbling over how wide the halls were or other petty government regulations of hospitals, if such regulations were designed to impede abortions.  I must say I am in strenuous disagreement ruling and with the following ruling.  Today an appointee of George HW Bush (I forget his name) ruled that Texas could NOT de-fund Planned Parenthood for any reason.  It didn’t matter as long as it was deemed that such de-funding violated a woman’s right to an abortion.  So now I’m sure this Bush 41 appointee will draw the ire of people like Shawn Hannity.

Yesterday was the deadline for the Standing Rock Dakota pipeline protestors for them to vacate the premises.  As a protest they burned their own camp so that the government wouldn’t get their hands on their stuff, or something.  A few stragglers were arrested.  In general this is the week with congress on recess for Presidents Day week that congressmen are supposed to go back to their constituents and hold Towl Halls to get feedback from the people who will be voting for them next year.   Charles Grassley and Joanie Ernst of Iowa were being protested and people were asking questions and wanted answers.  Perhaps they should have paraded in an big hog with over-sized balls and perhaps a white wash of the hog saying “Have you got the balls?”  At any rate the liberal tea party is getting off to a roaring start and a quicker start than the tea party of eight years ago when it took them till mid April of 2009 for the first protests.  Of course Trump is accused them of being “so called angry protestors” accusing them of faking their anger.  But this is far more of a spontaneous grass roots movement than that one was.  The trouble is some people lack the ability to discern the genuine from the fake.  I think people need to go with their sheer intuition on such matters.

Those two girls 13 and 14 who were murdered on that bridge made a recording of the guy who murdered them.  This story has caught the imagination of the American people and will probably end up as an NBC “Dateline” episode.   Jewish cemeteries are being desecrated.   I think they should figure out what organization is behind these, and I suspect there is one.  Here’s a news flash that Allan Combs just died this morning.  I don't even know what Allan Combs looked like, only that he was once paired with Hannity on FOX and that he currently appears on WCPT.

I was reviewing the “Termites” album this morning and noticed such long songs as “Fade to Black” and “Sweet Thing” would make this compilation a long one.  The demarcation point is “Sinner”.  There are several compilations that due to the spacing that blogger does, the demarcation line between Disk 1 and Disk 2 is lost in the distinction.

The Republicans plan to bury the possibility of an investigation of Trump’s Russian connections.  They intend to keep a vote from coming before the full house where right now it would pass, so then intend to bury it in committee.  And they are going to hold the vote on Tuesday when Trump is scheduled to deliver a State of the Union address, at long last.  So the Republicans actually think Trump is guilty but don’t want it revealed.

There is this “tiger lady” device where a woman has these retractable claws that come out when she makes a fist.  It’s legal in all fifty states and draws blood for DNA testing.  I've heard rumors of some device some African women use in their vaginas that opperates like a mouse trap or something and sets off a spring and slashes the male member if she's being raped or something.

There is this hotel in downtown LA that those who are concerned about such things want to make a historical landmark.  I’m still a little confused as to how you go about doing this.  It seems to be a case of conthiscating private property for public use.  Apparently there were a lot of murders and such and maybe the building has a few ghosts.  You wonder what a ghost actually is.  It’s like a phantom that isn’t really there but only seems to be there.  Dead people only seem to be alive and conscious with memories like you and I have but this may well not be the case.  It could just be “psychic energy” or perhaps “karmic energy”.  There is a will-- - like a mosquito has a will, but it doesn’t really think about it; it just acts.  Maybe you don’t have any memories at all after you die but some psychic force remains.  And perhaps some of these seek out a human brain to relate to and to “use” for mental processing because it has no faculty for doing this on its own.  So your brain provides the “consciousness” and “thought” these entities need.  Some may ask “What about the vast majority of entities that don’t seek out the living in this way.  Sylvia Brown believes spirits normally “go to the light” and find peace.  Maybe they find complete inactivity.  I would remind you that nobody has died and described heaven and then been convincingly resurrected back into their physical body that was previously pronounced clinically dead.  I don’t see how an entity  without eyes or ears or even a brain can think or be “aware” in any human sense at all.

Several Habitable Planets Found Outside Solar System

This has to be the biggest news of the day.  Forty lightyears isn't that far.  I've heard these planets were in the constelation of Aquarius.  Perhaps we've already had contact.  (CNN)Astronomers have found at least seven Earth-sized planets orbiting the same star 40 light-years away, according to a study publishedWednesday in the journal Nature. The findings were also announced at a news conference at NASA Headquarters in Washington.  This discovery outside of our solar system is rare because the planets have the winning combination of being similar in size to Earth and being all temperate, meaning they could have water on their surfaces and potentially support life.  "This is the first time that so many planets of this kind are found around the same star," said MichaĆ«l Gillon, lead study author and astronomer at the University of LiĆØge in Belgium.  The seven exoplanets were all found in tight formation around an ultracool dwarf star called TRAPPIST-1. Estimates of their mass also indicate that they are rocky planets, rather than being gaseous like Jupiter. Three planets are in the habitable zone of the star, known as TRAPPIST-1e, f and g, and may even have oceans on the surface.

WASHINGTON — President Trump could issue new guidelines as early as Wednesday to rescind anti-discrimination protections for transgender students, overruling his education secretary who had pushed to keep them in place.  “I would expect further guidance to come out on that today,” Sean Spicer, the White House press secretary, said, declining to provide specifics. Mr. Trump, he added, is “a firm believer in states’ rights.”  Mr. Spicer declined to discuss details of a rift on the issue between Betsy DeVos, the secretary of education, and Jeff Sessions, the attorney general, who was adamant that the administration move quickly to reverse an order from the Obama administration that allowed transgender students to use the restroom of their gender identity.  But Mr. Spicer said during a White House news conference that Ms. DeVos was “100 percent” supportive of the president’s decision.   Ms. DeVos initially resisted signing off on the order and told President Trump that she was uncomfortable with it, according to three Republicans with direct knowledge of the internal discussions.

Trump is rolling out his deportation policy.  He’s eliminating a lot of the “exceptions to the rule” that Obama carved out.  You might say our deportation policy is more ‘liberalized” now meaning we will see more of it.  I decided a paste over a long article first to my personal files and hen here.  It explains all of the imuendo and machinations of the edict.  Also Trump is reinstituting his refugee ban on those seven Mideast countries.  I'll try to remember then.  Algeria, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Iran, and Syria.  These are the seven countries Obama singled out as a travel advisary for Americans abroad.   Apparently visas won't be questioned but the heart of the ban still remains, as I understand it.  I guess we can try that for a while and see how it works out.  Bill let me have one of his oranges for later on.

Yesterday President Trump finally came up with a statements condemning anti Semitism.  However last Thursday at that strange press conference, a reporter asked President Trump about anti-semitism and Trump responded by saying "You said that was going to be an easy question.  That was a hard question!" and then pauses and then attacks the reporter saying "I know the newspaper you work for and I'm not going to answer your question".  Apparently the pros and cons for anti-semitism is not an easy thing for Trump.

Today is Wednesday February 22, 2017 and Wednesday is “Anything can happen day” from the mouseketeers days.   “Weekend Warrior” replaces Ted’s ode to Detroit, in a song that wasn’t properly vetted.  In other news President Trump yesterday appointed Mc Masters to fill the now vacant National Security Chief post.  He seems like a good choice.  I just hope Trump gets his bearings and is actually able to get the administration running smoothly.  In other news the reason why we didn’t use “Eye of the Tiger” on the “American Night” album is probably because cosmically tigers were considered a jinx and the inclusion of this track would foment negative vibes.  Ask Mal Evans or one of his associates.  We changed the Nugent substitution to “Writing on the Wall”, which has been a track under consideration perhaps dating back to 1984.  “When Friends Fall Out” dates back even further to perhaps 1978 as a track we’ve had under consideration.  One song is longer than the one it replaces and the other is shorter than the one it replaces.  At any rate today is the official release date so don’t say you weren’t warned that changes may be made.

Thom Hartman is doing his little bit on the Crusades and how bloody and savage they actually were, on the part of us Christians.  “The Knights Templer” of course became a suspect organization later on.  Historians used the apocraliptic phrase of "Blood was up to the horse's bridals and to the rider's knees.  They used the term "Dios Volt" or something or "God Wills It".  "wollen" is the German ford for volition or will.  Why can fight with God, after all?  "Infidel" is a Latin term of course for "unfaithful".  I would recommend you hunt down the transcript from today's show though this segment was a tape replay.

Yesterday was an eventful day in soap land.  Today was the day Sonny, Gabriel and Chad were rescued.  Paul Norita rescued Sonny as there was a Di Mira guard at the door that Officer Deveroux had to contend with.  Meanwhile Chad and Gabriel took all their clothes off to have sex even though in the process they were exposing themselves to more cold because after a while they seemed oblivious to the cold.  The scene doesn’t play well in reality.  Shane’s brother destroyed the computer hard-drive containing the Orwell, the name of his computer program that would guarantee mass spying.

Inform News. Coming Up... but in the mean time here's a story about a US border agent that apparently shot a Mexican teenager when the guy was still in Mexico and he was running away and shot from a distance of sixty feet away.  And due to the legal machinations, the family cant sue in United States courts.  So basically what you have here is an act of war.

DEPORTATION MEMO

Autoplay: On | Off

The Trump administration on Tuesday released a pair of memos outlining aggressive enforcement of immigration laws, potentially resulting in millions of deportations if the White House puts muscle and money behind the policies.

The guidelines lay out sweeping changes from the narrower approach taken by former President Obama. The only Obama policy that survives is Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), a program that allows people who entered the country illegally as children to stay, usually for work or school.

But the White House said even DACA could be ultimately eliminated, as President Trump looks to take a tough approach.

The memos, signed on Friday by Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly, vastly increase the number of immigrants who are considered priorities for deportation. Reflecting that reality, the memos direct immigration enforcement agencies to hire thousands of new agents to apprehend people living in the country illegally, with local police and sheriffs’ offices enlisted in the effort.

Immigrant advocates reacted with alarm to the memos, fearing they signal the start of a mass-deportation program that will tear families apart and deprive people of their due-process rights. They said the guidelines could affect up to 8 million people.

“In my many years of practicing immigration law, I have not seen a mass deportation blueprint like this one,” said Marielena HincapiĆ©, executive director of the National Immigration Law Center.

Administration officials insisted that the memos simply outline Trump’s own priorities for who should, and who should not, be deported.

“No,” White House press secretary Sean Spicer said when asked whether mass deportations are the goal.

“Those people who are in this country and pose a threat to our public, or have committed a crime, will be the first to go, and we will be aggressively making sure that that occurs,” he said.

The Department of Homeland Security guidelines do not change U.S. immigration law, which the president already has broad discretion to enforce.

Proponents of scaling back immigration celebrated the guidelines but cast them as an “interim solution” until Congress passes new laws.

“The number one thing is they’ve erased orders and policies and internal practice that’s built up over the past four administrations,” said Roy Beck, founder of NumbersUSA, a group that advocates for less legal and illegal immigration.

Beck said illegal immigration would persist until its underlying cause, the availability of jobs for people who immigrate without permission, is eliminated.

Under the Trump administration’s guidelines, any immigrant who is convicted, charged or suspected of a crime is considered a priority for removal.

That is a break from Obama administration policy, which focused its enforcement activities on serious criminals, recent border crossers and terrorism suspects.

Federal authorities will expand the use of “expedited removals,” which allow immigrants to be deported at a faster pace.

For the first time, agents in the interior of the country will be allowed to start expedited removal proceedings for immigrants who cannot prove they have been in the country for more than two years. The process does not require a court order.

That power was previously restricted to officers within 100 miles of U.S. borders, so they could quickly detain and remove immigrants as they entered the country.

“The memo contemplates a massive expansion of people being removed from the country without ever seeing the inside of a courtroom,” said Tom Jawetz, vice president of immigration policy at the liberal Center for American Progress.

Trump is also restoring programs, halted under the Obama administration, that allow local law enforcement officials to collaborate with federal immigration authorities.

Those programs, known as 287(g) and Secure Communities, deputize local law enforcement officials as immigration agents and allow them to incarcerate immigrants suspected of criminal activity for longer periods before they are turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

In another policy shift, the memos open up the possibility of deportation or criminal prosecution for adults who help children enter the U.S. illegally.

That change is meant to discourage Central American children who make the often-dangerous trek into the country. The number has surged over the past three years, with minors fleeing gang violence in countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras.

But the memos from Kelly say the system is being abused. They say 60 percent of unaccompanied minors are placed into the care of one or more parents living illegally in the U.S.

“Regardless of the desires for family reunification, or conditions in other countries, the smuggling or trafficking of alien children is intolerable,” one of the memos says.

The memos leave many questions unanswered, such as where officials will house the people swept up in raids.

Agencies are told to “allocate all available resources to expand their detention capabilities and capacities,” but Congress would likely need to appropriate more money to build new detention centers.

There’s also the future of DACA, which remains unresolved.

Trump last week said the future of the program is a “very, very difficult subject” that his administration will handle “with heart.”

Immigration hard-liners are pushing Trump to stick by his campaign promise to end the program.

“I’m very puzzled by the fact that he’s leaving DACA ... in place,” Beck said. “He promised so many times on the campaign trail that he would end those on day one.”

Faced with a flurry of questions Tuesday, Spicer stressed that the administration’s priority is to strictly enforce the law.

Immigration enforcement agents felt hampered by Obama’s guidelines, Spicer said.

Trump “wanted to take the shackles off individuals in these agencies and say, you have a mission, there are laws that need to be followed.”

Make America Think Again

The people on the right are truly in an information desert.  You’ve heard about a food desert in the ghetto but an information desert is where your only source is FOX news where you are not only misinformed but dis-informed on what is reality in the world.  Trump is feeding these fears at his campaign rallies he still insists on having even though he’s President now and campaign rallies should be a thing of the past.  But Trump is himself generating fake news first with this “Biggest electoral vote victory since Ronald Reagan” one, which is a lie, but now he’s talking about some terrorism in Sweden caused by immigrants into Sweden these days, and the Swedish government took strong exception and puzzlement to these remarks of Trump.  But they interview the groupies at these campaign rallies saying “It doesn’t matter whether Trump gets things wrong; he’s speaking directly to us without the filter of the media”.  He’s telling these nuts exactly what they have been programmed to want to “hear” and he’s feeding their itch and swaddling them in thy warm blanket-cocoon of delusion.  So in truth this is why when you endeavor to have a conversation with these people they cover their ears and say that they don’t want to hear it.  Indeed today’s slogan should be “Make America Think Again” because we have stopped thinking.  We have engaged in an orgy of wrong feelings at the expense of reason.  This is obviously a dangerous state for a country to be in.  For we know, as Mc Cain and others have pointed out that one of the first things a fascist government does is to shut down the media.  They don’t see the signs.  We are going on as people buying and selling and being entertained and attending our sporting events.  I’m sure even in communist China they have their little recreation where the people can “A-muse” themselves and distract themselves from the true political soup they live in.   So one might say it’s a situation of the media sniping at the Trump administration.  And the administration snipes back.  But this reason of “both sides do it” is a misguided one.

On You Tube I watched a speech by Bernie Sanders at a rally in Madison, Wisconsin made July first of 2015.  The thing was edited down to 25:25 and this is taken from the first forty-nine minutes of the speech where the final topic of discussion of ecology and the welfare of Planet Earth.  The original speech ran to 1:03.   Thom Hartman was talking about how it doesn’t matter whether income taxes for the middle class go up because the income market determins what employers are willing to pay you.  Cutting taxes is of no avail to the working class because the employer realizes you’re willing to work for less.  In the speech there was nothing about two of the biggest protest items in the news now.  One is Standing Rock and the other is the issue of sanctuary cities.  It seems in Oriville they are trying to paint the State of California as politically divided between the coastal liberals and the inland conservatives, who grow the nation’s fruit, grains and nuts.  And these central valley people are all Trump lovers according to this article.

We’ve had a little rain at predicted this morning but not much.  Just enough to get the benches wet.   Sixty Minutes featured an extended thing on North Korea followed by a thing on the Brownie bolt action rifle that fires when nobody has pulled the trigger.  There were two murder cases centering on this.  They actually played the entire ‘Presidents’ song right now.  I’ve never heard it in its entirety before.  Then there was that thing on fingers up the vagina’s of under-aged gymnists.   These young girls were so subjected to pressure to win in the Olympic camps that their doctor was the one person who gave them emotional support.  They had vaginal therapy for their backs.  So they submitted because they felt they had no choice, which is a horrible emotional state for a young woman to be in.

You know I think with certain astrological charms or jinxes, these are things from which there is no appeal.  As Days of our Lives shows us, once a decision is made in some cases like child custody in a case like they have, there’s usually no appeal.  Nicole should have won that case because in well over ninety percent of the time where DNA is the deciding factor, the judge goes with the biological mother.  But have you noticed that in politics for instance, polls are meaningless.  Polls had Bernie Sanders as far superior to Hillary in his ability to defeat opposing candidates.  Yet it didn’t matter because we are still under that Republican jinx that dates back to the seminal days of Ronald Reagan.  It doesn’t matter whether Bernie’s view on all of the issues is the one that wins in all the opinion polls they take- - because some FORCE is overriding all of the polls and common sense.  All the democrats can do now is the equivelant of rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.  They have already ceded all of the important ground to the Republicans.  They say over and over again “We accept the election of Donald Trump and there is no constitutional way to redo an election”.   So we have William Comey deciding an election twelve days before it’s held.   Seldom has one man held so much sheer power.  He keeps mum on all the Russian stuff he uncovered about Trump.  We still don’t know about all of it, and it isn’t going to come to light either because some cosmic FORCE is moving heaven and earth to insure that stays buried.  We won’t even talk about all of the voter suppression.  This is the gift that keeps on taking.  Because every election from now till the foreseeable future is going to be “red shifted” on polling day.  People get provisional ballots and tell pollsters they voted for Hillary, and yet Trump still carries the day.  So now all Democrats can do is complain about all of the money Trump spends with Air Force One shuttling around the United States to Florida every weekend, with not the slightest thought in the name of conserving energy or the tax payers’ money that maybe one week he could just stay in Washington and do his “work” from there.  After all there is all the police protection that’s needed.  It’s like the Accadamy awards and closing off all those streets in Hollywood for a while week for just a few hours’ activity.  The appeal of an old Bernie Sanders speech from mid 2015 is that we have in essence rewound the clock to a point that none of this ever happened.  We weren’t filled with garbage from FOX news and the Trump administration, and we didn’t have all that negativity coursing through our blood stream like poison.  To continue to even listen to the media at this point almost seems pointless.  I think we’ve about got the plot down by now.  Trump screws up in a major way but the media and the public just has to accept it.

This is after one on Sunday February 19, 2017.  The 75th anniversary of the Japanese internment camp authorization signed by Roosevelt is somewhere around this time.  It has remained overcast out but no rain.  Some lady was just in to make Bill’s bed.  I have been out of cigarettes since noon.  I shaved about ten thirty this morning.  I had Breakfast with the Beatles on at nine and the only song of note is “Girl’s School”, which I guess I passed over for a best of compilation because it sounds a little too much like Cheap Trick or something.  We had watery tomato soup for lunch followed by a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and more generous potato chips than sometimes.  We had some mini orange things with whipped cream on them for dessert.  My smoker’s hack is in evidence.  I had Leo Le Port on after lunch and Chris Marquardt was on at 12:35.  This is his last week before spending an extended time in Siberia.  There is a warming trend in many areas of the country right now in the sixties including Chicago.  If you are curious “Thy Kingdom Come” can be found in For the Record in June of 2013 under the title heading of “The great lost revolution” or something.  Glenda only seems to have coffee for a few days and then she is out for an extended period of time, and this is one of those.

Bernie Sanders' Madison, Wisconsin Speech (July 1, 2015) edited 25:25

Title letters are metallic red done in two rows the upper 40% or so of the front cover. The rest of the front cover is sort of a surreal smoldery sky with streaks- - - There is a giant crack in the ground about the shape of the state of California. On the near side of the crack you can see cities in flames and flames are popping up everywhere. To the right (east?) is a river like the Colorado. On the back of the album there is a scene like from the lobby or perhaps hall of a movie theater where there are movie style postors on the walls with bizzare, tripped out imigry - -and a captain or two. And there are three heavy doors close to each other in sort of a concave circle. There is one bewildered guy and there are all these keys on the rug (a dark aqua) and the question is which key unlocks which door and where does each door lead? Then above or behind the wall we see a bunch of transformers and power generating equipment. At the very top are album production credits. On the inside open out flap are the song listings. There is also a folded sheet of paper and on the front are those sayings at the very top of 'Soap Opera of Life' from May of 2006. The inside two pages contain material about the Bernie Sanders campaign white print on black backdrop. Then the opposite outside is a "Meditation Square", which I first came up with in January of 1975. They are painted various "crude" DOS style colors. There is also a black border around all of this.  * It says Grace Slick and Paul Kantner on the record.  The 2525 refers to the song "In the year 2525".

We are going to release another compilation and we’re dismantling the “Thy Kingdom Come” album bit by bit.  Here are the songs we took off that album because they are on other albums. The June 2013 version had 20 songs on it, if you're curious.
Three from “Metal Melitia”
Three from “Deepest Rock”
Two from “The Psychedelic Album”
Two from “Growing Up in the Seventies”
One from “Radio Ready”
One from “A Lover’s Question”
One from “Break on through”
One from “Don’t Take Me Alive”
One from "Souvenire of the Seventies"

If I’ve left anything out you can register it in the “Comments” selection, and if you do I’ll know you’re one of these real “savant” neurotics like me.  This sentence is February 22nd, the release date and as You can see we made two last minute substitutions Ted Nugent ** wise with "Motor City" running affoul of the overlap police.  Also we had to go for another Guess Who song.  "Growing up in the Seventies" has two songs we had to exclude.  I played chess with my father too, and I always beat him from the git go.  Kim Klein (code name) is the best person who fits the profile of a guy who used to be able to beat me in 1977 but after playing Bill T otherwise known as ‘the pawn master’ with his defense strategies, I got better and in 1978 I was able to beat Jim Klein at will.  Ironically Jim Klein was more of a “spiritual” Christian in 1978 than he was in 1977.  In terms of that 8:30 show on FOX that’s a weird one.
