Happy Rosh Hashanah

OK we’re in tan right now.  They have that commercial where these women are trying out taning products on this guy in kind of a checkerboard pattern and saying, “No, I don’t like any of them”.  It’s too hot for just about anything.  Tuesday it was 95 degrees in Disneyland and yesterday it was 98 degrees in Disneyland and 102 in Fullerton, not that far away.  Handball and tennis courts are deserted because people have more sense.  They had numerous stories about children in poor neighborhoods without AC hosing themselves off to keep cool.  Meanwhile in Florida the weather must be getting to people.  One guy at a Labor Day barbecue- - - opened fire with a semi-automatic and got off I’d guess about 25 rounds- - and it’s captured on audio.  He was shooting at three different people and two of them died, and the third, though full of bullets is hanging on.  He told that understanding police lady “Yeah, those people were bugging me and made my life a living hell.  You know how it is”.  Well I don’t live in a stand your ground law state so I don’t know “how it is”.  He’s planning to contest the first degree murder charges and it’s an open question at this point whether he’ll even be convicted.  Then we have George Zimmerman arrested for speeding at sixty in a 45 mph zone.  Of course when you mix guns with a short fuse type A personality you are headed for serious trouble sooner or later.  Then we have some sort of altercation between Anthony Wiener and reporters- - apparently over something that was said about his wife- - I heard a reporter say “she’s an Arab” and according to Moe Kelly, “Them’s fighting words”.   Crime abounds in other ways.  Now apparently there are devices criminals are using to tap into ATM’s or some area where you pay for your gas- - and apparently they are able to clear out your bank account in sort of a cyber theft- - where you don’t even need a gun any more.  I know that credit card companies won’t charge you if it’s genuinely not your fault- - but in this instant cyber age- this stuff will become in increasingly common.

Yesterday afternoon on the David Cruise show there was another of these police beatings, which David Cruise specializes in covering.  This one was in Long Beach, and apparently it was a near Rodney King type situation.  This mental patient, who was bloody and sweaty and wearing only shorts and no shirt- - was on the ground on his back kicking at officers and they wanted him to roll over on his stomach so kept beating him.  Of course these officers offer the same verbal fogging the Rodney King officers did. “Well the video didn’t show the whole thing and everything we did we had a reason for.  If you recoil on reflex- - as far as the police are concerned normal anatomical responses constitute “resisting arrest”.   Police tend to look at life events differently from the rest of us.  You think when you call the cops about a situation that they are coming to help- - - but you wonder why suspects run from the police so much - - after witnessing a few events like the one just described- - it’s a gamble worth taking.

This is Rosh Hashana, September 5, 2013 and it’s one of the earliest dates possible for a Jewish Newyear.  They come every nineteen years.  Zachery is 38 today - - and two 19 year lunar cycles ago was another such early Jewish New Year.  The cycle in-between is only notable because this book that was in all the stores- - claimed that the Bible in a zillion different ways, predicted that the end of the world would come on September fourth, 1994.   Of course someone made a thing out of the “Rosh” being a long “O” rather than a short “o”.   In Romulan they have a word “Roche”, which can mean either a recycling, or reiteration, but it can also refer to getting your second wind.  It’s one of those words they picked up from the Lanian.  Tonight of course is the opening day for the NFL official season.  Today is also that long awaited “Summit” in Russia that apparently is a whole lot more ceremonial than substantive.  Some have questioned the wisdom of the President leaving the country at this time when the lives of servicemen are hanging in the balance as the President decides their fate as to whether they are going to war against Syria or not.  I am hoping to get in a little congressional debate watching on C-Span.  This brings me to a topic I was going to raise about David Cruise.  Because people say that the things John Kerry says are eerily smiliar to the things Colin Powel stated publicly just prior to the run up to Gulf War II, I guess you’d call it.  I have a definite problem with David Cruise.  He’s going to believe a Russian leader, who have a decades long tradition all our lives of telling nothing but lies about us, and lies about their own society- - for the last sixty years.  And yet David believes Vladimir Putin- - but he won’t believe John Kerry, a venerated anti war Veteran, who has always told it like it is.  To me this indicated some buried desire to WANT to believe that Putin somehow would never lie and is somehow more honorable a man than people in this country are.  So when Putin says “The Rebels dropped those canisters of poison gas- - David falls right in line and believes him.   But you know there is one good reason for NOT going to war and it’s the oldest reason in the book.  We Don’t Think We Can Win.  Just think about that one a while.  Who has inspected Russian weapons lately.  We know that Putin is going to remain dictator of the Soviet Union till the day he’s taken out feet first.  He’s never going to let go of power.  Rather than there being too LITTLE of a threat for us to bother about- - quite the contrary is true.  There is so MUCH of a threat that we “Dare not poke the bear” as Rush Limbaugh might say.  There is this pervaisive fear in the Obama administration, it seems to me, of all the bad things that could happen, that the Soviets might do to us or our allies.  I would regard it as an excellent time to consult with Israel, and develop a coordinated strategy.

Hydraulic fracturing, otherwise known as “fracking” is in the news again.  Now they want to bring the practice right here to Southern California, to the oil wells of the Baldwin Hills, not far from where I used to live as a kid.  We used to travel down La Cieniga past them all the time.  The LA city council wants to vote to specifically allow this practice, it seems.  I thought that’s what I heard.  Anyhow it’s up for debate.  Needless to say it would be a terrible idea due to all the earthquakes around here.  And personally I don’t want to be able to light my tap water on fire.  Anyhow, who would even drink water from the tap you were able to set on fire?  Jerry Brown had the chance to ban the practice Statewide- but those not to or something.

I was just watching the soap opera and President Obama and Father Eric have a lot on common.  Father Eric has to be about the most useless character on the entire show, in that his life amounts in total to absolutely nothing.   Some people – for instance Jesus Christ- - are shall we say “humble to a fault”.  They are so “humble” as they put it (it’s the thing they are the most proud about themselves) that they drag everyone else around them down with them, just as Jesus dragged ancient Palistine down with him- - refusing to help them in any way and claiming he was working tword some “higher spiritual purpose” just as the local Priest may look at a situation that really sucks and rather than attempt to probe and get to the bottom of it, just says “Well, God is working tword a higher purpose”.  Some of you may say “What about far more evil characters such as Stephano and Christine”.  My response is that they are supposed to be evil characters.   Nicole has a point about Eric.  She said life wasn’t dealing with government beaurcrats all day long and attending committee and board meetings and showing up at ceremonial openings.  Stephano does all these things.  He’s on the University Hospital board, and this apparently gives him the right to enter any patient’s room uninvited and threaten their lives.  Perhaps the first step in Officer Raphael Hernandez climb back to “manhood” if you must speak in such terms- - is to call Stephano Di Mire a liar to his face and then give him the finger.  Now we come to President Obama.  I don’t think he’s really “taking charge” of this war effort.  It’s as Tavis Smiley says- - “he has to be pushed to do anything”.  And Tavis Smiley has a point about something else.  If all that fifty year anniversary celebration of the March on Washington was just a trip down memory lane- - then it’s fast becoming irrelivent.  If that’s all Black leaders are going to do is to talk about the past- - - hell, a couple of eighty year old men in rockers on the back porch can do that.  Nobody grabs the bull by the horns anymore and makes their own futures.   The thing is the whole war against Syria resolution only passed in Senate committee by ten to seven.  That’s too close for comfort.  And it was a weak resolution with a sixty day time limit the President would have done better not to even ask for to begin with.  What other modern president has had to go to Congress hat in hand- - begging their permission for him to be able to do the slightest thing?   I listened to Randy Rhodes ideas this afternoon and they are pretty lucidris.  Putin is a congenital liar and to believe anything that comes out of his mouth for a second is a major mistake.  Really when you think about it- - - there isn’t a whole lot of difference between the Christian Church and the historic Kremlin.  They both want everything from you in terms of money.  But when you think about it- - it’s an oxy moromism to say that you “have to give to the church” or “the church” has all your money.  Because I thought the Bible said WE were “The Church”.  And Me wants to keep all My money!   It really does strike me as funny that this is a resolution with more votes from democrats than Republicans- - and whose prospects for a swift passage are far better in the Senate than in the House.  It’s like President Obama saying to the house Republicans “I’ve opened up here a whole New Way for you people to make me look bad”.    The entire tenure of presidential tenure of Obama has been a slow motion disaster- - and it’s still going on and getting worse – and nobody one stop it.

Ariel Castro Hangs Himself in Jail Cell

Ariel Castro has hanged himself in prison after just a month in “protective custody” or whatever.  If he thinks he’s “suffered enough” for his crimes, when he gets to the Judgement Seat he’s going to be sadly disappointed.  I imagine him coming before Mr. T or someone like that – big and burly wearing a lot of gold jewelry and Mr. T goes “Uh- - I don’t think so”.  Suicide under circumstances like this is a cowardly act.  As you know it is my belief is that the hottest places in Hell are reserved for some father who takes out his whole family- - kids and all – with a shot gun and then turns the gun on himself.  Well in my book this is pretty damn close because it’s a guy who reaped untold suffering on these three women and their families.  It saves these victims of having to undergo the ordeal of testifying again at the penalty phase of the trial having to relive the whole nightmare over again.  Ebony K broke this story because I hadn’t heard it before, but I noticed it was on Google news.  The other day the buffer ratio was maybe seven to one- - but today it was close to one and one- with only a sliver of buffer zone out in front.   Of course Ebony K was worried about this guy being made a Celebrety of like a Scott Peterson or a Charles Manson coming up before the parole board every seven years and being perhaps granted interviews by the media and maybe even getting his face on the cover of the Rolling Stone.  As far as the way this story was covered cosmically- - the Sirius A people have atoned for their “editorial indescretions of the past” and Celebrated this guy’s death in the Headlines.  The knowledge that this man is dead and “no longer sharing oxygen on this planet” should be a major first step tword the emotional healing of these women from their ordeals.

In my endeavor to be broad minded and “objective” on this whole Syria gassing event, I have been listening to other sources.  So this morning it was Hal Sparks- - and there was a lot of talk about how a lot of sacred scripture is based on “second drafts” and maybe just perhaps twenty-second “drafts” and one has to ask “at which point do you have to admit your Message didn’t come down from the Word of God, when you have to keep re-framing the message.  Not to bore you or anything but let’s talk about how this ZAC theology is kind of a “take two” of Federation Theology.  Of course - people doing MY "biography" would at this point say "Phase One- - later became Rizzonian theology".   There occurred a strange cosmic "bifercation" and the Rizzonians- - being divided into "Light Rizzonians" and "Dark Rizzonians" and were kicked off their home planet- - which happened to be Venus.  I'll bore you a little more on this topic later.  But let's come back to our main topic.  People are always talking about “forces of good and evil” and a lot of it according to Hal Sparks goes back to their childhood and things, perhaps about race, that their Daddy told them- - and then in turn got it from their Dads.  But in time when it comes to the propagation of things like religion and racism- - there are “not enough Dads still surviving’ to pass their message on to the Next Generation and the thing will die out.  And so where is this crop of Young People in Iran, who want the Old Ways to die off- - and they see themselves as wanting to embrace “Western” values.  (I’ve always thought that word was strange)

Now we are told that Assad and his father are members of the “Allowite” sect.  I keep thinking of that Hail Bob “Applewhite” sect in San Diego- - who killed themselves- - but first some of them voluntarily castrated themselves out of devotion to their god.  Some have said that this “Allowite” sect- - is alien even to other Shiites.  Apparently the “line” between God and Man is blurred and there is a belief in these “Immans” and talk of the Imman Mhadi, otherwise known as the Twelvth Immam.  Of course in “pre ZAC” Federation theology I was an observer of these various UFO cults that sprang up in the 1970’s.  There was the “Bo” and “Peep” cult, and I know in snail mail I told you about this cold morning when I was at a bus stop at Beach and Orange.  There was this big field there, which now is occupied by a Medical Building.  But these two young people- - a man and a woman- - came out of this field dressed in shorts and short sleeved shirts.  Keep in mind this was the last week of October and it was perhaps the coldest morning of the year- - one of those where you could see your breath.  And they had these strange carved mugs of some hot, black steaming liquid I assumed was coffee.  And I’m wondering “Where did they come from?”.    But there was also the Morningland cult out of Long Beach that revered this guy Denaldo- - and he had a lot of girl fans kind of like the Manson family and they were a Federation cult.  Of course being out of Long Beach they were squatters on Romulan land.  But in July of 1975 - - I had this bit where Eve had sex with Lucifer- - and they bore Cain- - but in this version of the story Abel rose up and slew Cain- - - who was kind of a martyr messiah figure.  And Abel was this ape-like hybred- - and there was this enmity between the White fource, what the Federation later tagged the Lucacite Fource.  Lucas means not just “White” in Dardanian- - but also “bright and shining” kind of like Lucifer.  But I got to thinking about this White force- - and this dark- - animal force- - and I was thinking “This battle about the Good force and the Dark force is a really over-played out concepts.  It wouldn’t even work as a Movie plot any more”.  Little did I know.   But getting back to the Allowite thing - - apparently this sect is viewed as suspect by other branches of Islam as we might view a sect like Scientology or David Koresh.  Of course the Saudis are of the Wahabiist sect- - which came out in the late twenties and thirties- - and might be a parrellel to the Born Again Evangelical Christians, whereas your standard Koran reading Sunis might be likened to your average Methodist, who gets his one hour religious inoculation once a week and thinks he’s set.  And John Mc Cain informs us that “Allah Akvar” is as common an expression is “God Bless America” and we don’t view this song as a source of seething militant Evil.  It was pointed out that many of these poor Islamists turn to terror weapons like rocket propelled granades- - because they DON”T have a systematic military to protect them.  In other words they truly are “rebels” against “the government” just as various groups in this country are like that.

Perhaps Hal Sparks or others are confused about my remarks about Valentinus the other day and what did I mean when I said Valentinus was being “misrepresented”.  Simply this. According to Mal and Stu - - Valentinus was NEVER a Christian and there WAS no Papacy then to even excommunicate you.  Also many of the Bible Books that Valentinus is said to have quoted from- - perhaps all of them - - - Valentinus was not a Christian and never was, and spoke his own Doctrine unique to him and wasn’t imitating anybody.  We have gone into a little detail of his doctrine previously- - but he had a disciple Marcus (no, not me)  who elucidated a  little further on Valentinian doctrine.  Sometimes a Federation edict takes me by surprise.  For another example- - the Federation has not given a Thumbs Up- - to President Obama in whatever upcoming war with Syria he is planning.  The Federation strangely is now preaching a “hands off’ policy saying “The rebels are getting enough aid already from others”.  The last time the Federation did this whiplash thing on me- - was deciding not to go to war with the Beta Centaurians, which I STILL regard as a major mistake.  Don’t think me and the Federation agree on everything.   I got a strange communiqué from Syd Barret alias “Pink” a few days ago.  It seems - - well- - the preliminary early draft of “What You’re Doing’ by the Beatles.  I remember that.  Anyhow- - I was thinking “I guess we could use this song” but I thought I could write a better one so I sat down and wrote “You’re Gona Lose That Girl” and I played it for Paul Mc Cartney- - and according to “Pink” Paul was not at all enthusiastic about this song and said it’s use on “Beatles for Sale” would not happen because “We’ve got enough songs already”.  And of course when the Beatles did put out this song- - Pink did it.  And there is a line in it “I’ll Make a Point- - of taking her away from you”, which Pink said- - was him taking this song away from me.   OK I already told you that it was positively Wilson Picket “singing that Beatles song’ on Breakfast with the Beatles last Sunday- - right down to its being Picket’s back-up band.

War - Currently an Unmarketable Concept

Well, he said sarcastically, if you don’t like the weather they are predicting a change.  If you’re tired of the ninety plus degree highs and lows in the high seventies we’ve had the past seven days, take heart- - they are predicting still hotter weather by the end of the week.  I believe they were predicting a 105 for around here by later in the week.  Now congress is debating this “war resolution” as they are all calling it.  People are acting- and Randy Rhodes is among them – that basically it’s an eight year war or nothing, with absolutely nothing in-between.  Never have I seen so many predictions of the end of the third act, before the curtain is even raised on the first act.  But I decided I would make it old home week, and I switched to Larry Elder at three.  He’s, if anything, gotten more combative over the years.  But it’s as though he prefers re-fighting the Iraq war over again.  In fact in response to Mc Cains about Al Qaeda in Iraq Larry responded “Well, that’s because we pulled out our troops too early”.  So if Larry Elder had his way we’d still be spilling blood in Iraq.  He then vouched for the veracity of – All Sixteen intelligence agencies in the Bush administration, all of they saying that they had high confidence there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.  Having said this he turns to a caller and says “Besides, if President Bush lied about us getting into Iraq- - then isn’t it logical that President Obama is a liar when it comes to today’s intelligence on Syria?   If you are looking for an Answer, Larry - - NO – that’s not a logical assumption at all.  But even Randy Rhodes fell into the identical logical pitfall arguing from the other side.  She said “If you would be paranoid if it were President Bush pushing this war- - then I don’t see how it makes the slightest difference, given the same set of facts, that it’s “someone you can trust” like President Obama”   Again if Randy wants an answer to that- - I’ll be happy to oblige.  If it were- for example a President Mc Cain calling for war now- - and he could still be President if he had won in 2008 - - then yes, I would gladly support a President Mc Cain in this war effort”.   Larry Elder than roomanated saying “Actually we know our real target is Iran, so I don’t see why we don’t cut to the chase in congress and just debate that”.  I remember a couple of things Newt Gingrich said in the Republican debates.  He said that the President was ignoring Syria, where the terrorist threat was real.  And that President Obama kept strangely silent when all those students were protesting in Iran, after Akmadenijab was reelected in 2009.  Now there is talk that Israeli intelligence has backed up our own on Syria, and that Israel too, feels Syria is a threat.  Larry Elder used the “pin prick” image.  Larry believes that if we are really going to war than we really ought to go hog wild.  But this President is timid.  He seems at times afraid of his own shadow.  He seems bent on reassuring the enemy that “This attack won’t change the balance of the civil war in Syria, and we have no interest in a regeme change”.   When you combine this with the idea that no general broadcasts exactly how he’s going to attack to the enemy, and then gives the enemy plenty of time after said announcement to get all of his defense fortifications in order and do things like locate missiles at schools and on the roofs of hospitals- - where they can sacrifice their own civilians for sympathetic play in the world press.   One called likened President Obama to Jimmy Carter and advised “Congress should go thumbs down at the president time and wait till we elect a Republican”.   Larry Elder- again in a fit of spite- - said “Well the President didn’t need the votes of any Republicans to pass the Affordable Care act and mocked them saying “We won the election”  but now he doesn’t talk so tough- - and he’s admitting he actually needs those Republican votes”.  And it would seem that John Boehner and Nancy Pelosi have both come on board with an affirmative vote.  But Larry Elder reminds us that for the first time since the 1700’s, English parliament voted thumbs down on War.  Larry says “We couldn’t get a yes vote with the conservatives in power”.

But I did watch a fair amount of “Face the Nation” and it’s refreshing to hear John Mc Cain because he’s the only guy whose making any sense now.  In the morning I had KFI on by mistake (?) and Rich Merada, their sports guy, and others were talking about Syria- - and there was the line of first getting over the hurdle that the thing really happened and wasn’t a fake, and “accepting” Bashier Assad as a “mad dictator”, which is harder because he looks like the local dentist or something.  He doesn’t have that typical “Mideastern” depraved look just to see his mug shot- - the way that someone like Saddam or Quadafi did.  But the “easy part” once you have decided there really is a problem- -is to go on and decide what we’re going to do about it.  But of course it’s too late because they put their fortifications and missiles in civilian areas such as hospitals and schools almost hoping someone will bomb them.  They are quite happy to sacrifice their own innocent civilians for the cause.  John Boehner and Mitch Mc Conell are at least civil tword the idea that they will have a chance in congress to debate this vital issue.

I realized before I did my grand treaties on “Resolved: The mystory of the true origen of Christianity has been Solved”.  I realized with all of these Epistles floating around - - possible back dated to increase their authority- - but still - - we know so little about the man who wrote them.  There was a book called Paul and Thecula, and this was a companion of the female perswasion, who was also a virgin.  Paul’s physical appearance is described in considerable detail.  I marveled with the ease at which this narrative flowed.  This book was written around AD 195.  Some of the material on Valentinus I have deemed as bogus, and things the real Valentinus never claimed.  Tertulian said that Valentinus and Marcion were both fallen Catholics.  I never thought Valentinus had ever been a Catholic.  He was excomunacated by the Pope one year, in Ad 143 the year before Marcion was, but before this Valentinus was active in the Catholic Church.  To me it’s almost “suspicious” that two gifted orators who founded major denominations - - should be kicked out of the “mother church” within a year of each other.  To me this smacks of bogus history.  He migrated to Rome in AD 136.  But here is something that was new- - Valentinus supposedly claimed to have “had a revelation of the risen Christ” around AD 120, when he was twenty.  He claims he got his teaching- - get this- - from a secret disciple of St Paul named Theudas - - who is listed nowhere in the New Testament as any acquaintance or disciple of Paul.  For one thing there would be an almost unbridgeable age gap knowing the last we hear from St. Paul is around AD 62.  There is one solution, of course, and that is that St Paul lived several decades later than people believe he did.  If for instance his “seventeen year ministry” began in the late ‘nineties - - then the view would almost make sense.  There is no record of Christianity’s existence in the reign of Domecian.  There were other books and book fragments I read either this afternoon or just now, including an “interesting” teaching dialog between Jesus and his desciples, where the sentence syntax is similar to Jesus’ own words.

They showed a Randy Rhodes rerun about the Missouri State Fair rodeo clown.  Now Rush Limbaugh says this is exactly the same thing as the Danish cartoons about Mohemed.  For one thing-  these cartoons were in another, far away country.  And there were riots and perhaps murders because of it.  Now in the case of the Rodeo clown you have the President of the United States, whom by inference respect is owed- - made the spectical of in a highly racist skit- - and there are almost no responses from our side.  Keep in mind this event wasn’t in some dingy nightclub on the wrong side of town but at a taxpayer funded State Fair, which isn’t supposed to be political;  it’s supposed to be a wholesome family event.  The White House completely ignored it.  One WH staffer remarked “This was not Missouri’s finest hour”.  But at the same time on the right it’s as though the democrats were proposing a whole new set of laws restricting the first amendment.  To them it is this imagined “response”, which they have to combat and it’s the worst thing since- - - I don’t know what.  Maybe the Nazis burning books.  There were howls and hysterics about defaming their newfound hero, right alongside Joe the Plumber and George Zimmerman.  You heard things like “the nation is falling apart”.

This is Labor Day and Ebony K was on talking about inter racial relationships.  While inter race cohabiting is up from a couple decades ago, interracial marriage is not, and Ebony suggests that this has to do with cultural preservation.  She said something which to me seems counter intuitive.  She said that unions between white men and Black women weren’t all that common compared to Black men and white women.  Perhaps this is just a cultural bias on my part but I’m more personally inclined to notice a union with a Black man and a white woman, rather than the other way around.  For instance if Marcia were to start dating David Shaner, who is whiter than white, I wouldn’t think anything of it.  There is still that lingering cultural thing in my opinion about a Black man having sex with a White woman, that doesn’t exist the other way around.  But Ebony says that Black women are more loyal to their race and feel compelled to preserve the black family culture- - then are Black men, who show little cultural loyalty.  However in the case of the Asian culture it’s just the opposite where the least likely people to intermarry are Asian men, because of that cultural preservation thing.  Whereas Asian women have this long history of being prostitutes or mail order brides, and all that.  As to the donut thing with the women in black face advertizing chocolate donuts in Thailand- - I think this was an innocent mistake- - and it has boosted sales of chocolate donuts fifty percent.
