You know of course that the term "radioactive issue" refers to an issue that's so volatile nobody dares touch it. I'd like to run down a few of them right now. After this posting I believe we'll be seeing you in "Marcus in Exile" unless I decide to skip right to "The Soap Opera of Life".
OVER POPULATION: This indeed is the elephant in the tent nobody is talking about. You know constitutional experts say that certain first amentment rights can be suspended "When facing a clear and present danger". Well, over population is a clear danger, and I believe by now it is a present danger, and it's only going to get worse with no sign of a trend reversal. We remind people to spay and nuter your pets. When will we receive public service message of "Be sure and spay or nuter your kids today". What we speak of with such reverence today, our reproductive rights, is something most people wouldn't give a second thought to depriving animals of. Clearly in terms of food and energy usage symptums of reaching a "crisis point" are already at the door.
WORLD TRADE CENTER ATTACK: The evidence in my mind is pretty clear that those plane colisions did not bring down those buildings; planted explosives did. People can see the physical evidence for themselves on the internet. You know all people like Thom Hartman want is for the question to be looked into. It's like the umpire getting sand kicked in his face so he couldn't see whether the last pitch was a strike or a ball. We need to question a few more people. The ramifications of this issue are pretty grave, but some day we may have to face it.
KENNEDY ASSASENATION: We still don't know who killed President Kennedy. The best evidence is that Oswald did not act alone. There is also evidence that Oswald was having marital problems with his wife and killing the President may have been a way to demonstrate his sexual prowess. We know the rout was changed the last minute. We know a lot of things. We also know in 1993 there was a massive media move to put all "conspiracy theories" to rest. At the time I dubbed 1993 as the year of "anti-conspiracy".
ELECTION FRAUD IN OHIO: Thom Hartman today talked about how historically valid Exit polling has been to varify questionable elections in other countries. Of course all those other countries have a paper trail. We are the only people who don't seem to believe in that. Apparently exit polls were trusted implicitly in this country till 1998 when there was some vague questions about some Republican primaries. By 2000 there were pronounced descrepencies between the Exit polling and the eventual more pro Republican results. At the time people on the news comenting just said "Well, what do you know we goofed. How about that?" By 2004 in Ohio things had developed more markedly. Election fraud was unmistakable in Ohio. There is a Rolling Stone article, a long one, on the internet and I think I'm going to re-read it, and probably download it to my computer for future reference. The article examined the question nine ways to Sunday. By 2004 now the Media was not even saying just "We goofed", but they instead changed all the "exit poll" numbers at midnight, so that they conformed to the more George Bush ballot results. It's actually been twenty years since any Republican running for president has actually won by more than 51% majority. But nobody will touch this issue, either.
EXPLORING THE SUPERNATURAL: This is another radioactive issue. People have the notion that there is "no life on other planets" and "there is no world after we die" and "spirits and angels don't exist". So of course Sylvia Brown will be called a whack-a-doodle. I disagree with her about the "ocelation frequencies of molicules". It's called TEMPERATURE. It has nothing to do on whether you "see" an object or whether you don't. This notion of ocelation frequency comes from a Star Trek episode where Data's head was retrieved from a pit in Carson City, Nevada in 1892. I will agree with Sylvia to the possibility that "thoughts" can cause some as of yet undiscovered disturbance in the ether. Walter Martin (who like a stopped clock is right twice a day) once said that Jesus in John 20 didn't "go through walls" to appear to his desciples in a locked room, but he merely "switched dimensions on them". As to the matter of "hyperspace" I need to clarify something. I once said "hyperspace" was space inside a black hole. But that is NOT my usual definition of hyperspace. Rather- - hyper-space is space involving the sixth dimension. I wish Sylvia would talk more about existance in all six dimensions.
HISTORY AS DOGMA - HISTORY AS RELIGION I'm sure there must have been a man somewhere who said "He who controls the History of a culture controls the culture. Both the left and the right wing in this country right now are contending for control of the History books our children learn their facts from. We know people think Obama was raised in a Medrasa, or whatever. We know for the longest time people thought Saddam Hussein was somehow directly connected th the events of 9 - 11. We know that when people are asked questions about world history their ignorance can be shocking. Such ignorance can easily be taken advantage of by demogogues. People tell mythic tales to control others and keep order in society. Fathers tell their sons "stories" that may or may not be true, in order to drive home some moral point. George Burnes once talked about "What about the question behind the question". Perhaps it's time to search out the motive behind the ANSWER. The following is a Radioactive position. That the Book of Acts in the Bible is pure fiction and that the figure of St. Paul is probably ninety percent fiction, with perhaps some factual remnent. So why was this story TOLD? The answer is so that Rome would continue to subjegate the Jews, why else? This is the one lasting legasys Christianity has (among so many claimed legasys) and that is to stick it to the Jews, with this highly developed and meticulasly manicured- - cock & bull story.
EXISTANCE ITSELF:
How can existance itself go up on trial? Because we believe a fairy tale that time "just exists" and is not a finite created comodity. We believe in "Free Will". Few of us have any real concept of what a DIMENSION really is. (Computer Programmers who work with Arrays do) We hear that word thrown around "This product we want to sell you will take your pleasures to a whole other dimension". Some things scientists say on Cosmology we have to take "on Faith". We all don't have Max Brady's IQ and don't have the mental capacity to check out all the mathematical formulas for ourselves. Our emjoyment of our environment would be much richer if we could. We know first of all that dimensions didn't used to exist but that multiple thousands came into existance the minute the Big Bang occurred. (This harkens to yet another StarTrek episode) And we know that some dimensions we either move through blind, or trapped in or out of, or cant perceive at all. We take this on Faith. In a Simpson's episode it showed space aliens sucking up the entire Universe and in the end, God's existance was termanated. We know if we are all Calvinists here that nothing happens in this world unless God allows it to happen. Knowing this should save the asking of a lot of other questions such as "How can I get back to Find the Way". Any time talk verges on "Finding your way back from perdition" or some such thing, a buzzer out to go off. "This Is Not God". You know- - I had one more Radioactive issue I was going to bring up today but I've already given you people quite enough to think about.
On the Simpson's there is the comic book figure "Radioactive Man". Oddly this term was "back-formulated" or however George Bush would say it- - by the Federation. They adopted the term Radioactive Man to describe Zachery. The thing is that the people who now "believe" in Zachery are not the people who "Created" him, so to speak. But this is kind of a Radioactive topic with the Federation- - and Mal Evans- - because they know they goofed and it's an embarrasment. Of course the letters ZACHERY add up to 86 or the element Radon, or some such thing.
