Dealing With Terrorism Today

I don't mean to minimize the terror threat of various Islamic sects.  Clearly our terrorist watch and preparation in this country had paid dividends in terms of nabbing terrorists and avirting grave threats to our security.  In fact all of these "Orange alerts" and the like under President Bush 43 were among the things that persuaded to vote for Bush a second time in 2004.   Today we have ISIS and nobody likes to contemplate the reality of genocide against minority religious people.  Nobody is easy with the idea of five year old boys sawn in half or children's heads put on poles.  But I would remind you that one report of our Government under Bush said that domestic white power and far right extremists groups in this country were of equal or greater threat than people like Al Qaeda.  Also an alarm won't work if it's been turned off.  Our government used to keep statistics on the effects, mentally, physically, emotionally on the excessive poliferation of firearms in this country.  But the National Rifle Association made the government stop issuing those reports.  And we must remember that these groups all have to be financed and funded by Someone.  Sean Hannity informs us that ISIS is better financed and better armed and controles more territory than Al Qaeda ever did and is also more ruthless than Al Qaeda.  But Sean also keeps telling us how Saudi Arabia is so responsible and would never back any extremist groups.  And yet these same Arab whom Sean Hannity labels as "good guys" are the Same countries financing and arming all these groups.  And our government started it all by funding what proved to be Islamic fundamentalist terrorist groups in Afghanistan in the 'eighties, and we've just discussed this recently.  There is such a thing as responsibility and accountability.

We then have Vladimir Putin, and I believe the greatest Nuclear threat in the world today comes from him rather from Iran or Pakistan.  We've heard Netenyahoo say one too many times that Iran is on the threshhold of having an Atomic Bomb.  Now Sean Hannity says that ISIS is on the verge of developing a "dirty atomic bomb" from Uranium they stole from the Iraqi government, even though we have known for a long time that Iraq has no uranium and is not developing a Bomb.  Neither do I believe the threat is from Pakistan against India.  These two have been coexisting side by side for decades now, and if one was going to blow the other off the face of the earth they would have done it by now.  I believe that Sean Hannity considers himself a man of Christian moral principles, and I consider myself, basically, a man of Christian moral principles.  It's only too bad there seems to be a small area where our principles "intersect".  One of these is in the area of abortion and physician assisted suicide with or without the patient's conscious consent.  In fact the reason why I did NOT vote for Obama in 2012 was because of the President's extreme stand on Abortion.  As a man of Christian principles and respect for human life, I cannot vote for such a man, so I voted the Green Party.  And even Judy had to say "Praise be - - at least you didn't vote for Obama".  I don't want his blood or "culpability" on my hands should the President ever resort to comitting evil acts.  I cannot endorse the way he conducted his first term.  Mitt Romney was right in that debate about Putin being a threat.  Putin IS a major world threat today and the President really put his foot in his mouth saying that Putin wasn't a threat.  Putin has stated that he "retains the right to use Nukes whenever he "feels' threatened".  That's a Pat Buchannon word "Putin FEELS threatened" as though we are suppose to adopt the psyche of someone basically unstable and perhaps sociopathic.  I don't like Putin.  I don't trust Putin.  And I don't trust any leader that would trust him.  I read my Bible.  And Ezekiel seems to allude to some sort of nuclear exchange between Russia and Israel, not that I know step by step just what could occur to enable that to happen.  I guess I'm a little puzzled because the Book of Revelation says all the Rightious will be raptured or caught away to Heaven- - and doesn't say what God plans to do to make the Earth habitable again after a massive nuclear exchange and fending off the dreaded "Nuclear winter" where all the radioactive particles in the atnosphere block out the sun's heat.  The thing is the Bible ALSO says both in the New and the Old Testaments that we the rightious will be inhabiting this planet for a thousand years.  Ezekiel pretty much states this as does revelation and Jesus too when he says "The meek shall inherit the earth".   Isaiah talks about it.  But to listen to these flame throwers like Chuck Smith who say "It's all going to burn" you'd think we didn't have to worry about things like ecology or climate change.

We don't even know IF such an event will occur soon.  But I have this preminition that SOMETHING some event like the world has never seen IS going to happen, by nature of winnowing out the wheat from the chaff and separating the sheep from the goats.  And I want to be on the right side.  Will it be like German citizens in line passing an inspector to see who gets "shipped off" and the guy goes- - you live- - you die - - you live - - you die - - ".   What if the Holy Spirit or some Angel can tell just by Looking at you whether you are rightious or not.  But I believe there is going to be some event that is a "game changer".  But what I don't know is whether it's a Good game changer or a Bad game changer.  I'd be very watchful the first Saturday after the autumnal equinox.  There is always "Saturday at ten to six".   Another possible rapture reference is the line "the moon is almost hidden" - - and later relates of "going to a Carnival tonight on Desolation Row", which if you listen to this song - is a place you want to get TO.  Many camp out on the "feast of trumpets' for such a supernatural event, perhaps due to in Corinthians where is reads "The trumpet of God will blow- - and so shall the followers ever be with the Lord" or some such thing.  There is also that other line Jesus told his disciples of "But as for you, pray to be accounted worthy to escape these things" (that he just described)  (Selah)

And now I'm going to go Cosmic on you.  And personally I don't know how "Into" all of this UFO mother ship ship that Lewis Faracon really is into.  Hannity did make reference to it today however.  Sometimes you need to use a devil to fight a devil, however "morally compromizing of principles" some of sterner moral principles than I would say.  And yes I know, playing off enemies is a dangerous game, because what if they should both decide to make Peace and then turn on You?  I have spoken of the Edomites as being an evil entity and have caused a lot of problems not only energizing fundamentalist Christians and the tea party, but actually ALSO energizing Putin and his restoration of the Russian Orthodox empire or whatever.  But as bad as this sounds I believe there is a Worse entity- - a Worse alliance out there!   Let me close with this little example from today's "Days of our Lives" episode, which has a strange Deja Vu to Charlton Heston on that Nile River barge and Anne Baxter is taunting him with his many past accomplishments that suddenly all now seem a million years ago, when one looks on his muddy slave present state.  Well, I can think of worse fates than being offered help with a beautiful alluring woman with connections in High Places.  This is how it is with Christine and D J Di Mira.  She's kind of the sister a lot of us wish we could pull out of a hat when we get in dire straits.  She's the woman riding on a horse to pay the hangman in gold so that you don't have to face the gallows.  E J stands there proud and stalwart- - not bowing or bending to inferior moral principles.  But personally I wouldn't have the chutzbah. I would not have that much Pride.  My own survival instinct would kick in at a certain point and I would say "What are you offering' and thinking to myself "Believe me, it won't be hard to convince me at all!"  So my advice to E J Di Mira is that his big sister at this moment is the only game in town, and one with admittedly- - a track record of success.  And it's not like E J was St Francis of Asisi to begin with in terms of saintly virtues.  To me, as a certain point, it's a question of Survival.
